The U.S. Postal Service actually runs a profit. But leave it to Congress to require the Postal Service to pre-pay benefits 75 years in advance just so they can raid the fund.

If it won’t come up with money to help hurricane and earthquake victims, what’s a few old and poor people or those living in the hinterlands matter?” Funny stuff.
