Why are all the people leaving Detroit? Gee, maybe it has something to do with property tax rates which are the highest of the nation’s 50 largest cities and more than twice the average.

But according to Progressive economics, higher tax rates lead to higher tax revenues; thus, Detroit should be the richest city in the world. There can be no fault in Progressive economic theory, so therefore…the Koch brothers stole all Detroit’s property tax receipts for the last 50 years.
