Well, Mayor Bloomers is too busy hunting down the real danger to public health – excess dietary transfats – to worry about minor threats like rats. The NY Daily News, a very liberal newspaper, went out of its way to emphasize that rat attacks in the subway are “rare”. Bet that made the victim feel better.
