Michelle Obama's $5950 black alligator manila clutch
First of all, we must make a correction. It wasn’t a purse. It was a $5950 black alligator manila clutch made in Italy from the skin of an endangered alligator.
OK, we have to make another correction. We don’t actually know if alligators are endangered, but this particular alligator is definitely not basking in sunshine anymore.
Enough corrections. Let’s get to the story.
If you were strolling through the woods outside Moscow, you might carry a backpack and a compass. Not First Lady Michelle Obama. No, she showed off her expensive tastes in fashion by carrying that aforementioned $5950 black alligator manila clutch.
We’re not fluent in Italian, but as far as we can tell “manila clutch” is an Italian term that means “Crazy American with too much money.”

The First Lady has completely abandoned the pretense that she wears affordable American brands such as Gap and J.Crew. That story went up in a puff of smoke on election night and she’s rarely spotted anymore without some expensive designer bauble.
Michelle’s clutch was handmade in Italy VBH, the luxury leather goods company. And you’ll be happy to know it’s part of their Spring 2009 collection.
Michelle Obama. Today, First Lady. Tomorrow, Czarina.

The Obamas would like to be American nobility. I honor the office of the President. I will never be able to support the self-centered actions of this man and his wife.
I’ve seen the libs on other forums making the predictable response: “People with money can buy whatever they want.” Oh, so they like people with money now, but wait, that’s another subject. The point is that I would not give a damn if Michelle, Barack, the campaign, the drooling Hollywood nuts like on The View, and the entire media, had not played up the “fact” that Michelle shopped at places like J Crew, Target and Gap. Not surprisingly, you will remember that this all began when the same media made a stink that a woman who truly had no good clothes was thrust from Alaska into running for vice-president. What a coincidence.
The reason this is a story now is that no one except conservative sites sees the hypocrisy of how the media is now fawning over her “style,” itemizing all the wonderful designer clothes she wears in magazine article after article, with nary a word on her new appreciation for the more expensive things in life. (It’s not new, by the way, they just lied during the campaign).
Anyway, it’s even now between Michelle and Barack at least. She likes Italian purses, and he like Italian pus… oh never mind.

it was probably given to her by the designer, who then tipped the media off, who then dutifully reported on it and then his sales go sky high. but, a gift to a president or his family is really a gift to the american people, so I think I’ll ask michele to fork it over for my next fancy gig. ladies — are you listening?
Even making $400K a year won’t last long if she keeps buying $6K purses. Oh, wait, they are living in ‘public housing’ so they don’t have any mortgage expenses. I think their utilities are paid for also.

Yes, thanks for pointing out the obvious hypocritical media here. It’s gag inducing to see how they fawn over all that is Obama. Regarding the photo – Can you imagine how they would have freaked out if that had been Bush checking out that woman’s rear end? IMHO, Obama shows zero class here. Sure, it’s what a lot of men do! That doesn’t make it right, especially if you are the President. This gives the impression that Barry’s got nothing presidential in his head. No, he’s just another over sexed guy, with the bootie radar turned on and scanning.

Where are all the “Wardrobe Watchdogs” that didn’t think that Sara Palin should even have a few suits during the campaign!? I am completely OUTRAGED!!!! This president and his family are running around the globe shopping and dining out in some of the most expensive places, places where the average American will never be able to afford to go. Yet he repeatedly tells US that we ALL need to do our part and cut back, give back, blah, blah, blah! Wasn’t she wearing a pair of $400 sneakers not too long ago?? Maybe they need the second stimulus package for the first lady’s spending problem!!!! Printing money and no way to trace it??????? Why isn’t anyone investigating that?!
Don’t forget how they commented on Cindy McCain’s wardrobe and jewelry; with utter disdain and contempt.

I’m quite surprised at this in the much too much Muchelle has left out her African heritage in using an American alligator when Barack was hauling her back to Ghana and the old slave quarters her family shipped out from in crocodile Africa.
Interestingly it was Obama’s Luo tribe who were driving other blacks off their lands and the Arab part of Barack who was running the slave trade which traded Muchelle’s family.
What though seems ironic is when in Rome, the Obama’s were all hedonism, but in Moscow Muchelle went on an animal skin safari, but not with Russian sable, but instead she chose a sneaky, reptilian which suffocates it’s victims who need water, by dragging them under water.
Sort of like Obama luring in Americans to vote for him, dragging them into 11 trillion dollar debt and suffocating the American dream in the dark waters of the murky Barack Obama transparent dictatorship.
Got to go to Moscow now to buy American goods under inflated prices. Probably went well with the endangered smoked beluga, endangered caviar and endangered Russian freedom.
