Plug the damn holes, Mr. President. All 18 of them.

by editor on June 17, 2010

George Bush stopped playing golf after 9/11. President Obama has played golf seven times since the Gusher in the Gulf began.

May we respectfully suggest, Mr. President, that you plug the damn holes. All 18 of them. Have the decency to appear that you actually care about this disaster – and the rest of your job, for that matter – more than your own recreation.

I understand the whole double-standard thing. But, my take is that if Obama is on a golf course, that is less time he can spend destroying this country further.

I say “you golf every day Mr. President. Have fun and leave our country alone.”

That puts Biden and Pelosi at the helm. Oh wait, aren’t they already?

Let him keep playing and make sure we see it on the news. As Rush said yesterday he loves the trappings of the office, the parties, Air Force One, which all play to his massive narcissistic arrogance. He never wanted to job of leadership, he wanted the job to please his own warped ego!

Obama is not a leader, & he’s not an intellectual, he’s a media creation. I’ll tell you EXACTLY what Obama is, he is a frontman. He is the guy out front, singing the songs & working the crowd. He believes in the cause, but has not written any of the music. Not too much different then Milli Vanilli when you think about it.

Now I know who to blame for Obama: ‘Blame it on the rain… Blame it on the rain… Blame it on the rain… Blame it on the rain… Blame it on the rain…’

He is so awesome…

not really

The thing though is that his playing unfortunatly doesn’t limit the damage he has incurred and continue to do on the nation.

What a LAZY piece of crap. Nero fiddles while the Gulf fills with oil and burns. They also have a party every 3rd day on average at the White House, courtesy of the hard-working taxpayers. Kobe beef, flying in a pizza chef while the people of this country seethe in quiet rage 2012 can’t come fast enough–and 11/2/10 is going to be a bloodbath for incumbents.

Heh.. love the Nero comparison. And let’s hope you’re right about November… though I can’t feel hopeful about replacing the politicians we have with… more politicians.

It’s odd seeing this president seemingly enjoying himself so much through so many bad times. Up until this point and for as long as I can remember, when disasters happened and things were bad, photos of the current president always would show a man who progressively looked more and more haggard as the responsibilities of the office weighed him down. But in these troubled times, there’s Barry, dancing and smiling… giving humorous speeches to his cronies and smiling… golfing and smiling… ad nauseam. I’m so glad that while the country suffers, at least our leader is having one hell of a time.
