Rachel Maddow. Or Ron Reagan, Jr. Or Andy Dick. We can never tell.

Rachel Maddow. Or Ron Reagan, Jr. Or Andy Dick. We can never tell.

The only things falling faster than President Obama’s approval ratings are MSNBC’s cable news ratings. Especially those of the irrepressible Rachel Maddow.

The Ron Reagan, Jr. look-alike just racked up the worst one week ratings of her one year sojourn at MSNBC. For the first time ever, she went through an entire week without attracting a million viewers on any night. In fact, her total viewers for the week were a meager 4,147,000 people. That’s barely more than Bill O’Reilly nets in a single night.

Here are the sad specifics:

Date25-54 Age DemoTotal Audience
Fri, Oct 16283,000937,000
Thu, Oct 15214,000894,000
Wed, Oct 14227,000787,000
Tue, Oct 13281,000913,000
Mon, Oct 12158,000616,000

At the rate she’s going, Rachel’s last viewer will turn over to Hannity sometime in 2012. Just in time to get a more realistic view of the mid-term elections.

I think people can only listen to someone talk about Fox and Bush so much before they move on to something more entertaining like dancing with the stars….

Maddow is a lazy pundit who has had her butt kissed every step of the way. All sorts of “elite” media outlets have praised her to no end. First on air America, & then it really kicked in when MSNBC gave her a show. But all of that praise does’nt cover up the fact she gets killed in the ratings every night.

Compair Maddow to Glenn Beck, who has recieved no favorable coverage, & the difference in crystal clear. But that should’nt matter, because years from now, Beck will be ending his career near the top of the pile & Maddow…well, she will probably end up working at the Center for Amercan Progress, which is basically the a palce for misfit toys. All the unwanted & reject liberal/socialist/progressive/marxist/communist/statist types go there to die.

I saw her once, when she was talking about a spaguetti creature that supposedly was the creator of all things… I barffed a little in my mouth and decided this lady is not going to be part of my regular repertoire. She sounds angry and stupid in all the clips I have seen of her since then.

Ms. Maddow is living proof to the book of Revelations – “And in the last days they shall call that which is good evil and that which is evil good”. I feel sorry for her because one day she will see the truth but it may be too late. It’s a fact that people who bash other opinions, the way she does, is scared of those opinions. Let her ratings keep falling…perhaps the majority of the population are beginning to wake up and smell the coffee.

All politics aside, I have never understood what qualifies an unappealing, sneering, unimaginative Obamaslurp like Maddow to be an anchor. While libs wax ecstatic about what a “great” anchor she is, and that those who criticize her don’t understand her, I’ve thought: Who wants to try to figure out what her talent is? She really is unappealing in many ways, and the viewers have recognized that increasingly, as evidenced by her anemic ratings.

And if there’s anyone who could be less talented and more blindly positional than Maddow, it’s that fat know-nothing Ed Schultz. Really, is there anyone out there who likes this moronic slob? His only function as far as I can tell is to attempt kissing Obama’s rear on absolutelty every issue, no matter how weak Obama’s performance has been. And talk about no talent–this guy looks (and sounds) like some reject from a bowling alley!

ed the yeller and the democratic dike are falling in the ratings. not surprised, when the yeller came on he said he was going to be a voice for middle class. seems he is only a voice for public option in healthcare, never talks about jobs, illegals, those losing heathcare because they lost a job. he is just another loud mouth liberal. i guess when your just 20% of the population you need to yell louder.

Glad to find this site. I really couldn’t believe I was the only one that thought Maddow is nothing less then a journalistic quack. So sad to see journalism fast becoming just another type of Democratic tool and views which depends on which party is signing the checks. What ever happen to just reporting the news and let the viewers come to their own decisions instead of pushing that Democratic view on the viewers? Guess that’s why so many of us come to the internet for real honest upfront information and are turning off our TV where real honest open reporting is noway to be found. As for Maddow falling rating. Well most American can still see a journalistic quack whenever they see one. Her show couldn’t be cancelled fast enough for me..

Improve the content and people will come back. It’s that snarky, snarly attitude that is killing Rachel’s ratings. O’Reilly is snarky, snarly, however, he is fair and balanced in his approach and scolds Republicans as often as he does Democrats. Snarky, snarly Democrat-speak and Bush Bash can’t hold ratings forever. It was bound to happen.
