History according to Saint Al: Gore compares his global warming crusade to civil rights battle

by editor on April 20, 2011

Al Gore now compares his global warming battle to the civil rights battle, If that’s the case, we can only assume that he pictures himself filling the role of Dr. Martin Luther King, the fiery preacher who moved the masses with his religious loquacity.

Saint Al Gore compares the civil rights battle to his global warming battle

TheHill.com has the details of Gore’s historical allusion illusion:

Al Gore told young green energy advocates Friday that progress on global warming must come from a strong grassroots movement that can counter the oil and coal lobbies, which he alleged have “paralyzed” governments.

Gore – who compared action on global warming to the Civil Rights movement – was the keynote speaker at Power Shift 2011, a Washington, D.C. conference attended largely by college students.

“It’s true that governments by and large have been politically paralyzed because the energy companies, the coal companies, the oil companies, the coal-burning utilities, they have spent enormous amounts of money and they have succeeded in many countries in paralyzing the political process,” the former vice president said.

… Gore said the Civil Rights movement was fueled by youth questioning their parents about legal discrimination, and he drew a link to climate change.

“When they could not answer that moral question coming straight from the conscience of young people, that is when the laws began to change,” Gore said. “You need to ask, ‘tell me again why its al right to put 90 million tons of global warming pollution into the atmosphere every 24 hours, 20 percent of it will still be there in 20,000 years.’”

As we recall our 1960s history, the civil rights movement was marked by a series of marches. Seems to us that Gore’s fat, flabby, flaccid body could benefit immensely from some marching.

So it is strictly with Gore’s health in mind that we say, “Hit the road, Al.”

These lefties are all hyperbolic to the extreme. Asking gummint workers to contribute to their health insurance makes you “Hitler”. Voting against a crappy brain-dead health-insurance scheme is equivalent to “killing babies and grandmothers.” Having policy differences with Barack Fraud-bama is Jim Crow era KKK-sponsored RAAAAACISM. And now, a ridiculous data-challenged enrich-Al-Gore con game known as Global Warming/Climate Change/Climate Disruption/Whatever is the same as the civil rights movement. When you’re a silly fool, leaving your Twinkies out of your lunch bag is a life-and-death crisis.

Time: 1:30 pm. Location: Ottawa, ON. Temp: 36 degrees.

It snowed this morning. It’s going down to 26 tonight.

Tell me a fairy tale, Daddy. Tell me the one about global warming. I LOVE that story, Daddy.

Sir sweats-a-lot finally rears his chinny head. Of course, it would be to address the mushy, moldable minds of our college students. Well, hat’s off to the university for inviting the False Profit to indoctrinate the next generation of earth worshippers. Hate oil. Hate your parents. Might as well hate whitey, too. Remember civil rights? Yeah, that thing everyone but whitey gets. Don’t like oil? Ride a bike, you fat, lying fraud.

Gore needs medication and therapy soooooo badly. This is another of his delusions of grandeur. I suppose his lack of normal self confidence and his need to be a bigger, better guy than he is is based in problems with parental lack of acceptance. He is still trying to convince his dead father that he deserves to be loved. Psychiatric facility anyone?

He is a fool, he will always be a fool and he shall die a fool.

You could very easily turn his own words around:

“It’s true that governments by and large have been politically paralyzed because the [global warming advocates], they have spent enormous amounts of money and they have succeeded in many countries in paralyzing the political process,” the former vice president said.

Earth wanted plastic for itself. It just couldn’t make it, so it used us to make it. Now Earth is happy, because it has plastic.

/makes more sense than Gore.

Al Gore’s right. AGW deniers like me are the Rosa Parks of this issue and we are being relegated to the back of the conversational bus.

Upon hearing Saint Al of Nashville’s speech, newly minted Global Warming advocate Charles Manson had this reaction:

“Gore said the Civil Rights movement was fueled by youth questioning their parents about legal discrimination, and he drew a link to climate change.”

These moonbats are really going after our youth because they have been brainwashed in our public, rather, government schools and liberal colleges to the point that they will actually believe these lies.

Thats so true. the libs are working overtime to corrupt the youth of America.
Its reminds me of the Nazi’s and the Hitler Youth. Back in 1933 the National SOCIALISTS outlawed the Boy scouts and replaced it with the Hitler Youth.
Remember a few years back the Democratic SOCIALISTS (liberals) attacked the Boy scouts, they filed discrimination lawsuit and forced the scouts to accept Homosexual leaders.
Not long after that came the “boys and girls club of America”.

Who but liberals would demand Homosexuals be placed in organizations that involve young boys…

Global warming is Civil Rights 2.0 — Now with extra frothy Charlie Manson!!!

Well, not everybody does, but I judge Al by the company he keeps.

Oh, for the time machine to go back and kick his daddy in the fruit.

As far as I know, Dr. King didn’t make billions from his crusade (he left that to Jesse Jackson).

Gores desire to be crowned the carbon king is a sad testimony to this slime molds Nobel prize for this “inconvenient deception” the hundreds of millions wasted for his global warming ruse, while he creates the inter network of carbon exchange companies, one sham after another, we get taxed for our carbon footprint, all these funds travel directly or indirectly though front companies, carbon credits are exchanged and more affiliated companies provide equipment and resources to “third world” improvements, while gore flies in his private jet, preaching at lucrative speaking event on the evils of carbon. Time for gore and barry to give back those undeserved Nobel prizes!
