Illinois isn’t that bad outside of Shitcago, which helps ensure the state stays blue. A lot of the state outside of there really is pretty rural.

I drove through Illinois to visit family in Iowa for a memorial service in 2010 and I took a longer path to the south from northern Indiana just to avoid that socialist, crime ridden shitpit.

The scum from Shitcago heads on over to Gary, IN and once they finished driving that into the ground, they moved further east to South Bend, just west of me. The locals have done a decent job of keeping the scum from my area for the most part.

Maybe they should have built the test border walls around Shitcago!

I worked on I-270 back in the late 1990’s. I-270 is the bypass loop that runs around St. Louis, Misery to the junction of I-55 and I-70 at Troy, Illinois. Southern Illinois was a great place to live back then. Shit-N-go, much like NYC, was a different world compared to the rest of the state. One thing for sure, I was running a paving and concrete crew and those boys knew their business! We were building box culverts, laying metal culverts, laying down 4 to 5 thousand tons of asphalt per day and pushing the dirt crew so hard the big boss told me to slow down so the grade crew could get a little breathing room!

Anyway, agriculture was big business at the time. I loved the scenery, the people, the fishing, the honkytonk beer joints and biker bars. Anyone who wanted to work could find a good job, everybody was making money hand over fist.

Now liberals have taken over and the state is a shithole, even worse than other parts of our once great nation. Last year an old friend, who I worked with many times over the years, called and offered me a job. I laughed at “Mike” because he was willing to pay me $15 per hour plus a company pickup and per diem since the job was on the west side of the state and I would have to take my camper or live in a motel. When I laughed Mike asked me what was so funny. I told him this.

Did he remember the job we did for “Smith” construction back in 1992? He was superintendent of the project and I was his #2 man? He said yes, he remembered the project because it was a bitch to get completed on time. Then I asked him if he remembered what my pay was. $22 per hour, a company pickup, $50 per day per diem and benefits. In 1992. And he wanted me to run a paving crew last year for $15 per hour, $35 per day per diem and a company truck? That is why I laughed at his offer, told him good luck and wished him and his family well.

I know, I got off topic for a bit but the point is liberal loons are ruining our country. Illegal immigrants, who think $10 per hour is a fortune, have ruined all our construction industries. State lawmakers are taxing working Americans into the poorhouse. 1980 wages and state taxes that have increased as much as 40% in the last 30 years is killing us, killing the middle class American just trying to support his family. And the slim majority of voters who elect the liberal loons are to stupid to understand what they voted for.

Back in the late 90’s, work was slow in Southern California, so I decided to go up to Boise, ID, where my two brothers lived and scout around a bit, see what it was like there. I didn’t like what I saw, but put in a few applications anyway. I got offered a job as a paving foreman, provide my OWN truck, no benefits, ten dollars an hour. Right. I’ll hang out with my brothers and their families for a while, since I’m here, then head home.

The late 90’s was hard for road hands, we were beginning to feel the effect of gooberment rules and illegal immigration forcing wages down. I was lucky. I was in management by then, had a guaranteed salary and contract for the benefits, but quit anyway. I went to work for a friend who owned a small truck company. I hauled feed for dairies all around the state. I hauled sod from a grass farm south of Moriaity to Home Depots and garden stores. I hauled cattle to the feed lots and hauled cattle back to the ranchers in Torrance County and around the state. And my old friend paid me $200 per day, cash. Work 4 days per week? No problem. Work the next two weeks straight because one of my kids needed help getting their car repaired? No problem. People I know asked me why I didn’t get back into the construction business since I was working anyway. My answer was always the same. Why should I have to travel all across the state or country to earn the same wage I earned in 1984? Mama didn’t raise any fools, I took the cash every time and was home most nights.

“But all day Wednesday, Speaker Madigan could not get enough lawmakers together to make a quorum.”

In other words, they were all hiding in closets hoping everybody else would vote for the tax hike and they could tell their own constituents they did not vote for it. Leadership by cowardice.

Illinois has apparently forgotten that people sometimes vote at the polls and sometimes they vote with their feet.

Illinois politicians are among the hardest-working in history; it takes a LOT of work to willfully ignore reality the way they do.

Every tax form in Illinois now comes with a tube of K Y jelly. Watch the democrats abandon the state and spread this stupidity all over the midwest.

The invaders from Kalifornicate, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, from every state in the country, have gotten to New Mexico. Enough of them have been here long enough to get into state politics. They want to change our gun laws, make it illegal to even own a gun of any kind. They have wanted a “gentler” police department in our larger towns and they got it. Now crime in Albuquerque and our other larger cities has gone through the roof. A record breaking 74 murders in Albuqukookoo alone last year thanks to a “nicer and gentler” police department? F-ck that, lets go back to the old way of doing things. With a proactive instead of a reactive police department. A criminal does something stupid? Bang, dead criminal.
