Elon Musk launches multi-billion dollar U.S. spy satellite with much fanfare on Sunday… but keeps the announcement of the news that the damn thing disappeared/blew up/crashed to earth/failed to thrive/whatever, much more low key on Monday.

Shouldn’t have used Chinese fireworks as the booster.

That reminds me, there’s another one going up from Vandenberg tomorrow. The last one, in December, was really beautiful to watch.

Musk would have called the company SpaceY but then their rockets would only land on 14 year old boys.

Are you thinking space puns or pedophile puns?

So, Mr Save the Planet is still launching rockets. Anyone else see the irony here?

And you can bet your azz that Musk and Northrop-Grumman are still going to get paid all those huge amounts of our tax money. Even though this launch was a fubar we taxpayers are going to be the ones who get shafted.

So, who do I talk to about getting my share of MY tax dollars refunded?

If it did crash someone knows where it crashed and we should see videos of it on FB by Thursday.

Unless it blew up, or crashed out in the ocean, or self-destructed so high the pieces will burn up in reentry, or…

I notice the article doesn’t mention whether the booster section landed safely. Or it did mention it and I missed it.

Ignoring whether or not it really is broken and not just being reported that way, blaming SpaceX for that is like finding a software bug in your new computer and blaming UPS because they delivered it to you.

Or maybe Elon Musk is the biggest fraud that ever lived, and the federal government should stop propping up his business failures by giving him gargantuan federal contracts he isn’t capable of fulfilling. It’s possible I suppose that the CIA is gaslighting everybody but if you read the linked article you will learn that U.S. Strategic Command, which monitors everything manmade in space, even spy satellites, says there is nothing new to monitor.

The next thing the CIA needs to monitor is the Bull Shit meter in Hawthorne CA.

If the rocket blew up and destroyed the satellite, Musk is responsible.

Or it’s CIA/DOJ BS and it didn’t crash….
