Mark Epstein, owner of the Milk Street Cafe at 40 Wall Street, just let 21 employees go. The reason? The barricades police have set up throughout Wall Street as a consequence of the ongoing demonstration. ‘Scuse us for sayin’, but it’s probably not just the barriers that keep customers away. A crowd of smelly, rowdy people hanging around a restaurant don’t exactly say “bon appetit” to a prospective diner (not to mention the smell of urine and poop.) BTW, Obama and Pelosi support the pooping and Elizabeth Warren created the “intellectual foundation” for it.
