Court Denies Injunction in EPIC Census Privacy Suit. This is indeed ‘epic.’ As of now they can basically ask if you’re illegal. This could reduce the number of seats the Democrats have in the House and the number of Electoral College votes, not to mention reducing Federal funds states like California blow on illegal aliens. No doubt this will go to a higher court. Oh, by the way elections have consequences, this judge is a Trump appointee.

A federal court has denied EPIC’s motion for a preliminary injunction and refused to block the Census Bureau from collecting citizenship information via the 2020 Census.

And the 9th Circus court of appeals just ruled that the Government (President/DHS secretary) has the authority to build the wall without worrying about all that environmental bullshit. The wall is exempt….Kalifornia looses again, they were the ones that sued…Our essteeeeemed Attorney General, Francisco Del Taco Defato, was just bragging this weekend that he had filed 17 lawsuits against Trump….Lost two in three days…What a liberal dumbass…

A judge that does get the term illegal and what it means too. Yes elections have consequences. That’s why the dip shits want to pack the Supreme Court.

As I understand it, it is meant to ask ONLY if you are citizen or not, and would not distinguish between legal and illegal foreign residents. So if that is correct, 1) illegals have nothing to fear, BUT 2) it COULD have an important impact on Congressional representation. Unless legal non-citizen residents ARE enumerated for representation — which, I must admit, I don’t see anything wrong with.

Federal funding is based on the number of American citizens in a given district. That’s the way it is supposed to be anyway. So the citizenship question on the census can hurt sanctuary cities and states. It doesn’t matter if the person is a legal resident or not, that resident is not a citizen and should not be counted for the purpose of allocating federal funding.

I don’t know where you got that idea. There is nothing in the Constitution, as far as I know, that mandates how federal funding is allocated. I know what you say can’t be true because look where the military bases are: Nevada and Alaska, lightly-populated states, have tons of them.

On the contrary, congressional seats are apportioned by population, regardless of whether that population comprises legal citizens or not. It is estimated that California and Florida have about 20 extra seats in Congress because of that method, because they have so many illegals inflating their populations. And when you ponder that travesty, you will suddenly have an AHA! moment where it all comes clear to you why California is so adamant about being a sanctuary state. This is a slimy sleazy power grab for them. They get not only more seats in the House of Representatives, but also more electoral college votes. AND THAT HAPPENS WHETHER THE ILLEGALS VOTE OR NOT.

I agree with you Sheila. What’s to stop an illegal from lying?

Heads are exploding in Sacramento as we speak….It would be fantastic if some of the congress critters get to lose their job, Federal money gets cut, and Kalifornia get smacked across the face.

Californicate stands to lose big time if the citizenship question stays on the census. So could New York, Texas and maybe Colorado. And the areas who would lose the most are in the dumbocrap strongholds like s. Cal, Houston and Austin, the Denver metro area from Colorado Springs up to Golden and NYC itself. And I could care less. Those idiots love illegals so much let them take care of them, no more federal funds for illegals.
