Yvette Clarke (D-NY), a woman capable of something we thought impossible, giving Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) — the bonehead who feared that stationing too many military personnel on Guam might make the island tip over — stiff competition for the title of Dumbest Member of Congress. In this clip Clarke tells Stephen Colbert that the Dutch still held slaves in her Brooklyn district 35 years after the Emancipation Proclamation (not to mention 224 years after those wooden-shoed mofos ceded New York to the English).
