He’s a maverick, damn it: John McCain has the second lowest approval rating in the Senate

by editor on May 10, 2011

According to the old saying, “If you try to please everyone, you won’t please anyone.” John McCain is the personification of that saying.

KOLD-TV has the results of a new poll that Arizona’s senior senator will undoubtedly find particularly unpleasant:

If you thought John McCain was angry before, just wait until he sees the results of this poll

John McCain has the second-lowest approval rating among U.S. senators, according to a new poll.

About one-third of Arizona’s registered voters approve of McCain’s job performance — 34 percent compared with 53 percent who disapprove of the job he’s doing — according to a new poll by Public Policy Polling.

That’s a drop from 40 percent approval in January.

Only Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) scored lower among sitting senators, 29 percent to 58 percent.

To repeat, McCain’s approval rating is a lowly 34%.

Let this be a lesson: Officially abandon your party and become the United States Senator with the lowest approval rating. Unofficially abandon your party and become the senator with the second lowest approval rating.

It appears that people have figured out that the definition of maverick is “someone who has no moral convictions and is willing to screw anyone anytime anywhere.”

So the dolts who voted him in again really believed he would swing conservative. I blame the stupid, gullible constituents.

I think he is just grand (larceny).

So why the heck did Arizonians re-elect him last time around?

Because they don’t take primaries seriously. What with that cow Murkowski in office, I can see why they may want to give up. Still, have to keep up the fight.

This picture of McCain — he was taking a dump at the time, no?

Yeah, I have no time for political metrosexuals

(a.k.a.’mavericks’ a.k.a. ‘knothead cattle’ a.k.a. ‘sellouts’)

He was the candidate picked for us by the establishment republicans and that ought to tell you all you need to know about them.

Maverick John McCain is way past any usefulness he ever had–time for him to go.

From the department of “I’ll Never Know” – would there have been a dime’s difference between President McCain and the current occupant?

If he had won I’m trying to imagine McCain Unchained. We certainly would not have had the 2010 victory in the House.

He should have been defeated the last time he ran for senate. If you notice ol John moved to the conservative right of the issues when he was up for reelection. People of AZ wake up and remove this RINO before you are again part of Mexico.

As for when he ran for president. I voted for him, hoping the stress of the job would be his demise and Palin would then be president.

For that matter he should have been removed along time ago for his role in the Keating 5 but the boys circled the wagons.

The fact that he is still alive means Obama was, in fact, the lessor of the two evils. I voted for Palin in hopes that she would have been president by now.

This old fool not only wants no border between us and Mexico, he also wants to arm the sob’s in Libya who admit to trying to kill our children in Afghanistan last year. He is an utter, complete, and total waste.

I’m very sorry for his mistreatment at the hands of the north Vietnamese, but being able to hit a missile with an aircraft, doesn’t, in and of itself, make him management material.

“Are you listening conservative Republicans?”

While I appreciate your genuine concern that our elected ‘Republican’ officials do their jobs according to OUR wishes; I don’t think that the truly conservative politicians, on our side of the political divide, are as much a part of the problems we face, as a nation and as a political ideology, as the entrenched socialistic, girly boy, psuedo-intellectual, psuedo-conservative, ‘party-boys’ (ie., RINO’s) are. It’s the so-called mavericks, dubbed so by the MSM, that we should be concerned with, don’t you think?
