No one’s ever accused Los Angeles’ midget mayor of being a genius. For that matter, no one’s ever accused him of having average intelligence.
But now Antonio Villaraigosa, a member of La Raza, but not Mensa, has cemented his intellectual legacy with this comment:
“In California, I think there’s a real sense that these immigrants provide a great deal to the economic might of the state, while at the same time give us an opportunity to take the lead on this issue of really pushing the federal government to fix a broken immigration system.”
Keep in mind that this is the same mayor who hired an additional 3,000 municipal workers just as the city was plunging into economic chaos. And the same mayor who negotiated a union contract that mandates raises for all remaing union employees if even one union employee is laid off.
Los Angeles. It’s the third world city with a fourth rate mayor.
