Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the most charismatic Democrat of them all?

Rep Marion Berry says Barack Obama said this: ‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me.’ We’re going to see how much difference that makes now.”

Another Democrat Congressman announced his retreat retirement yesterday.

But Arkansas’ Rep. Marion Berry didn’t go out quietly. He says he warned President Obama that 2010 could be a bloodbath like 1994 for Democrats and he was shocked by the President’s narcissistic response.

According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette:

Berry recounted meetings with White House officials, reminiscent of some during the Clinton days, where he and others urged them not to force Blue Dogs “off into that swamp” of supporting bills that would be unpopular with voters back home.

“I’ve been doing that with this White House, and they just don’t seem to give it any credibility at all,” Berry said. “They just kept telling us how good it was going to be. The president himself, when that was brought up in one group, said, ‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me.’ We’re going to see how much difference that makes now.”

Got that? President Obama, whose approval ratings are in the toilet, whose personal appeals to voters in New Jersey, Virginia, and Massachusetts were worthless, who has foisted this hugely unpopular socialist agenda on the people of the United States, actually thinks his personal charisma will get Democrats elected in 2010.

It’s perfect that on the day this story comes out that the White House should release this photo of Barack Obama admiring himself in a mirror.
