MSNBC: Know what would solve Planned Parenthood’s problems? A catchy new slogan.

by editor on April 25, 2011

What could be more entertaining than watching two leftist hacks spin for Planned Parenthood? The question isn’t whether they’ll do it, but rather what lame, unsupportable argument they’ll attempt to advance.

MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts and Politico’s Chris Frates didn’t disappoint.

They agree that Planned Parenthood’s problem is merely a branding issue. You know, the kind of thing that can be solved with a catchy slogan and a couple press releases.

Is it just us or does this sound remarkably similar to what the Democrats said about themselves after the November, 2010 elections.

But, of course, one should not be surprised that Planned Parenthood and the Democrat Party should present virtually the same argument since they’re virtually the same organization.

Maybe they don’t want their doctors’ faces shown on tv, because of the fanatical anti-abortionists who believe they have a God-given right to murder doctors who perform abortions (even if the mother’s life is in danger).

But there I go again being foolish and reading comments on articles. That’s almost always a bad idea wherever you go.

No, the foolishness on your part was trying to comment on the article.

Planned Parenthood is a wonderful organization that provides many low income women and women without health insurance with health services particularly gyncological exams, family planning services and breast cancer exams. Planned Parenthood has always been attacked for this. Read your history. Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood. was vilified for daring to suggest that women had the right to plan their families and for providing birth control services. She was physically attacked, clinics were burned. Planned Parenthood has undoubtedly prevented more abortions through their family planning services than all the right to lifers combined. Abortion is a very small part of what they do and not in all states or at all clinics. Family planning is their main buisness and you try and take that away from women and you will be hurting! There aren’t many people in this country who don’t believe parents have the right to plan their families and practice birth control now but at one time this was a radical thought. Planned Parenthood changed all that. I worked for them 35 years ago. Wonderful dedicated people. All the nurses I knew were warm, funny, Mom like women, married to doctors and school principles. They all just cared deeply about women’s right to plan their families. They knew first hand the pain, stress and lost futures resulting from unplanned, unwanted pregnancies. Don’t mess with Planned Parenthood! It is not a conservative-liberal issue. It is a family issue!

I guess the title of the 1985 album by Megadeth says it all, “Killing is my business & business is good”.

WTF?

A branding problem?

Are they on a cattle drive or are they going with the Abercrombie & Fitch angle?

Maybe they can ‘co-brand’ with A&F in their next sleazy catalog. First it was the sexy thongs for 6 year olds and now they have padded push-up bikini tops for 8 year old girls…right on target!

Yep, I see prosperous times ahead for PP if they can “brand” successfully! Get Madison Avenue on it, stat!

Hey, I gotta relevant slogan for PP that’s guaranteed to increase private donations from country club, blue-blooded Republicans:

“Planned Parenthood… Controlling the Number of Potential Democrats Since 1973!”

Abortion is murder.

Feel the heat minstrels! The Master is coming and all you can do is grope around for verbal gaffs to hang yourselves with. It’s not messaging. It’s not branding; though you have the brand 666 on your person, in plain sight for the rest of us to see. I think it’s time for you to bend the knee and bow the head!

Well MSNBC went with “Lean Forward”, Planned Parrenthood could go with “Lay Back, Feet in the Stirrups”. Either way, it is what it is.

Ever notice how hated leftist policies are always bad messaging or poor branding and not just FU’d ideas?

RockingHorseGuy

Kinda like Communism. They think the ideas are wonderful, they just haven’t been done by the right people yet. Of course, Obama is the right people.

It seems their doctors don’t want their faces shown on tv. Maybe that’s somehow related to their “branding problem”?

Well, they don’t want anyone to see the actual abortion procedure itself, so we might as well not be allowed to see the doctors either.

RockingHorseGuy

They don’t want anyone to see the results of the procedure either.
