Now we find out that all Nancy Pelosi really wanted to do was out Milton Friedman Milton Friedman. The woman is all about those gol’ danged free market solutions. She’s all over ‘em. Loves ‘em. Has ‘em on her cinnamon raisin bagel in the morning.
The problem, we now discover, is that people never understood that because she’s both dense and incomprehensible.
“All of the inititiatves we had put forth, whether it was healthcare reform or it was the issues that were related to energy security for our country or whether it was Wall Street help, Wall Street reform, any of them, were all about market-oriented solutions, about private sector leading the way, public policy to set standards or have tax incentives or…or…and the like. But it was all about recognizing our job creation would have to take place in the private sector in order for us to really thrive and be entrepreneurial as a country. So that…the labeling of the President as not being in that mode is not correct. That’s who he is.”
We never understood what she was talking about and after watching this video it’s clear that she doesn’t, either.
