Barack Obama reveals to People magazine that he has a remarkable memory. A really remarkable memory. While talking to the puff piece publisher about parenting, the President told how his relationship with his birth father influenced his relationship with his daughters.
Mr Obama said he regretted not being present because of his own experiences in his troubled childhood.
‘I grew up without a father around I have certain memories of him taking me to my first jazz concert and giving me my first basketball as a Christmas present. But he left when I was two years old,’ he wrote.
A normal person might think that remembering a jazz concert and receiving a basketball before the age of two is a remarkable accomplishment. But it’s nothing for a man of Barack Obama’s talents. After all, he already told us that he remembers his own birth.
He also seems to have memorized Karl Marx’ Das Kapital and Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals verbatim.
But even this remarkable man’s memory isn’t perfect. No matter how hard he tries, he seems to have a little trouble remembering the United States Constitution.
