The heat is gone: Obama hits lowest level of strong approval yet

by editor on April 11, 2011

The American people’s love affair with Barack Obama cooled off a long time ago. Now he’s losing even his most ardent liberal admirers, too.

Rasmussen has details of the downward trajectory:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 19% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20.

Today’s numbers reflect the lowest level of Strong Approval yet recorded for this president. There has been a sharp decline in enthusiasm among liberal voters.

Currently, just 37% of liberals Strongly Approve of the president’s performance. That’s down from 63% a year ago, 57% at the beginning of 2011, and 52% a week ago. Some liberal commentators have expressed disappointment with the president over the extension of the Bush tax cuts, the military action in Libya, and, most recently, the budget deal to avert a partial shutdown of the federal government. While liberal enthusiasm may be declining, 57% of voters believe the president is more liberal than they are.

As if things aren’t bad enough for the President, he’s going to give a speech to the nation on Wednesday night in which he explains that his solution to the debt crisis is to raise taxes.

In the words of Dandy Don Meredith, “Turn out the lights, the party’s over.”

Who pays to keep the Traitor-in-Chief in office besides us? George Soros and union leadership, who else? It has to be people with lots of money, so who are we looking at? We should find out who they are and take the battle to them! They are the real enemies, Barry’s just their front man and he’s their guy in the PR department. I’m actually glad that the Rasmussen Poll, a poll I consider left of center, is finally showing that the annointed one’s aura is starting to fade away. More likely scenario is that we’ve rubbed some of the whitwash off and we’re seeing and smelling the sh*t underneath!

Then keep him on the air 24/7. Whatever it takes to get more people to see the folly of Obama’s brand of socialism.

barry’s idea for all problems is to spend the tax payers money and when that is not enough to provide for his support base (entitlement mentality, non working, drains on American economy) he raises taxes, time to tell the emperor that he has not robe!
He plans on spending a record 1 billion + on his re election (again tax payers fund this clowns destruction of the American economy) If ever a “Clear and Present Danger” exists for the United States it is barry!

No wonder the Obama Administration is so worried about climate change! I wonder if the Left will say this cooling is due to global warming?

It does look kind of like a pair of crossed hockey sticks, doesn’t it? Maybe they’ll say some pointy headed intellectuals cooked the numbers.
