Ronaldus Magnus Day. The Great Man Day. Or maybe just keep it simple and call it Reagan Day. Call it what you want, the American people like the idea as much as Chris Matthews will hate it.

Rasmussen has details of Reagan Day:
George Washington is the only U.S. president who is officially honored with a federal holiday, but given a list of some of America’s most influential other past presidents, more than one-in-four Americans choose Ronald Reagan as the one if another were to be recognized with a holiday. John F. Kennedy comes in second.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 27% of American Adults believe Reagan should be chosen if there were another federal holiday celebrating a past president. Twenty percent (20%) pick Kennedy. Fourteen percent (14%) say Thomas Jefferson should be recognized with a holiday, while nine percent (9%) think Franklin D. Roosevelt deserves it most.
Just two percent (2%) prefer Theodore Roosevelt, and four percent (4%) opt for some other president. Twenty-three percent (23%) are undecided.
Of course, the poll is slightly unfair because Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama are already honored each year on April 1.
