White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked why it took the White House three months to answer questions on the Sestakgate™ if the incident was as insignificant as he had told reporters it was?
Robert Gibbs responded with the classic “I’ll have to ask counsel for a better answer on that.”
You know there’s a lot more to the story when a member of the President’s staff invokes the word “counsel”. Well, that and because Gibbsy breaks out in a cold sweat every time a reporter veers anywhere near the story.
