Another Democrat against Obama’s Libyan adventure: Senator Jim Webb says it defies historical precedent

by editor on June 29, 2011

George Bush made his case to the Congress and got two – count ‘em, two – resolutions approving our invasion of Iraq. Yet the same leftists who roundly condemned him for conducting “an illegal war” applaud our current Nobel Peace Prize-winning President and ignore his unilateral action in Libya.

Unfortunately, members of his own party in Congress are starting to peel away. Representative Jerrold Nadler attacked the President’s go-it-alone policy the other day and now Virginia Senator Jim Webb has attacked the President, too.

“The president did not come to congress…We weren’t under attack. We weren’t under an imminent attack. We weren’t honoring treaty commitments. We weren’t rescuing anyone.”

We think more condemnation will be forthcoming in a matter of days, not weeks.

(Just in case you didn’t get it, that last line was really clever, because it used the President’s prediction that the Libyan action would last “days, not weeks” against him. Move over, Will Rogers. IHTM is here.)

What is taking so long it has been over what 80 days or something way pass the time for him to go to Congress and where is the outcry? Why isn’t Pelosi et al angry and what about the Republicans why are they being so quiet?

What really fries my fat cakes (:)) is that if the sitting Commander in Chief was a Republican they would be calling for his impeachment all over MSM…but as a Demigodless he gets a pass.

Personally I have to disagree with Representative Nadler and Senator Webb, I think the Emporer has all the authority he needs to go it alone and enter into as many wars as he wants to. I mean, we really need to make war upon Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada for not being enough like Kalifornia. We need to make war upon Israel for not wanting to disappear. We need to make war upon the people of this nation bacause they don’t like or trust the mostest smartest, brilliantest, savviestest, coolestest, hippestest president ever in the whole history of the universe and they don’t love his mad cow of a wife either…that’s what really hurt!

Webb use to be Sec of Navy and has a son with his feet in the dirty, so he gets to have more of a say than the likes of Reid and Chuck u Schumer. He ran against G Allen over the Iraq war. He did sell his sole for $$$ to win. Now that he’s gotten there and seen what a bunch of ass holes his fellow democrats are, he’s getting out. No where to go kind of. Can’t go back to being a republican and the democrats sure as hell don’t want him any more.

If the rest of the kool aid drinkers would shake off the affects and speak out, barry might just have to listen. But a last an narcissist wont listen they are always right and everyone else is always wrong. Even if the Constitution says he’s wrong. Communist Bastard

I don’t know why these Liberal Scumbags even bother to complain about the Messiah’s latest Nobel Prize winning adventure, we all know they aren’t going to do anything about it but bitch. Doing something takes something all liberals are sadly lacking, it’s called a spine!!!
