Conclusions that can be drawn from this video clip: (1) Chris Matthews is a racist. (2) Chris Matthews is a lunatic. (3) Both of the above.

So the way we understand Matthews bizarre comment, blacks huddle together with other blacks at Democrat conventions, but blend right in at Republican conventions.

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews has become increasingly erratic since the November elections. That traumatic event seems to have picked him up and tossed him across that fine line that sometimes separates sanity from insanity.

Witness this interview with Michael Steele, the outgoing head of the Republican National Committee.

Matthews: Michael, I watch politics. I’m not an expert on sociology or anything but I’m an expert on watching politics. Like Gene, this what we do. I go to Republican conventions, I go to Democratic and as a white guy one thing I notice about the difference, one thing I notice about black people at different conventions. You go to Democratic a convention with Donna [Edwards] and black folk are hanging together and having a good time. They’re smiling, they’re enjoying themselves. They feel very much at home. You go to a Republican even you get a feeling that you are told, “Individually now, don’t bunch up. Don’t, don’t, don’t get together. Don’t get together, don’t crowd, you’ll scare these people.” Is that true in the Republican Party? Is that still true in your party? Did you fear that if you got together with some other African-Americans white guys might get scared of you?

Steele: (shocked) No! What are you talking about?

So the way we understand Matthews’ bizarre comment, blacks huddle together with other blacks at Democrat conventions, but blend right in at Republican conventions. And in Matthews’ mind, that leads to the obvious conclusion that Republicans are racists.

It’s that kind of insightful analysis that has earned Matthews dozens, maybe even scores of viewers.

Chris Matthews’ latest: Obama’s opponents are “crackers on the right”

Cracker? Cracker, Chris? That sounds racist to us. But perhaps we’re wrong. Let’s double check the definition of cracker before we make any rash accusations

File this one under “Things That Would Be Called Racism If A Conservative Said Them.” You can’t miss it. It’s that big, bulging file right over there.

Here’s Matthews at his racist (but he’s liberal so the media won’t call it that) best:

“So much of this attack on Obama has been ad hominem — directed at the person, the president. Whether it’s somebody, some cracker out there on the right calling him — some birther type that he’s not an American or it is someone a little more sophisticated, but basically saying he’s a socialist.”

Cracker? Cracker, Chris? That sounds racist to us. But perhaps we’re wrong. Let’s double check the definition of cracker before we make any rash accusations:

Wikipedia says, “Cracker, sometimes white cracker, is a pejorative term for poor white people. It is especially used for the white inhabitants of the U.S. states of Georgia and Florida (Georgia crackers and Florida crackers), but it is also used throughout the Southern United States and more widely in North America.”

Oh, but that’s just Wikipedia and you know it’s not authoritative. So let’s try a more reputable source like Merriam-Webster: “usually disparaging : a poor usually Southern white”

There you have it. Chris Matthews is a liberal racist. Look for Katie Couric to lead off her newscast with this story tonight. Look for Keith Olbermann to name him Worst Person In the World. Look for … nahhh … none of that stuff will happen because Chris is a member in good standing in the Society of Liberal Media.

Sorry, Asians. Sorry, Hispanics. Sorry, Eskimos. Chicago mayoral candidate says only blacks are miniorities.

Mayoral challenger James Meeks came under fire Thursday for suggesting that only African-Americans should be eligible for city contracts set aside for minorities and women.

Minority is no longer a statistical concept. It’s no longer a racial concept. Unless, of course, you’re a member of a certain race.

We assume that a majority of people disagree with James Meeks' new definition of minority

The Chicago Sun-Times explains:

Mayoral challenger James Meeks came under fire Thursday for suggesting that only African-Americans should be eligible for city contracts set aside for minorities and women.

… “The word ‘minority’ from our standpoint should mean African-American. I don’t think women, Asians and Hispanics should be able to use that title,” he said. “That’s why our numbers cannot improve — because we use women, Asians and Hispanics who are not people of color, who are not people who have been discriminated against.”

Jesse Jackson immediately thought to himself, “Crap. What didn’t I think of that one.”

These people put the pig in Pigford.

How to tell if you’re a racist

FCC commissioner says free internet is a civil right for “every nappy-headed child”

“I can’t think of a more significant overarching civil rights issue than this,” Clyburn said, “that every nappy-headed child have the ability to connect worldwide.” We’re just not sure which part of this statement surprises us most…

Congratulations to Obama-appointed FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn. Preparing IHateTheMedia.com requires us to read a lot of crap in the course of a day and it takes a lot to surprise us anymore, but she’s done it.

“I can’t think of a more significant overarching civil rights issue than this,” Clyburn said, “that every nappy-headed child have the ability to connect worldwide.”

We’re just not sure which part of this statement surprises us most: the fact that she thinks free internet is a civil right or that she used the phrase “nappy-headed child.”

Oh, Ms. Clyburn, Don Imus on line three.

Back door reparations: Democrats want to pay black farmers who may be neither black nor farmers

You had to be a black farmer to qualify to get paid the federal government. There were only 18,000 black farmers. 92,000 “black farmers” signed up to get their share of the government gold.

Think of Pigford v. Glickman as back door reparations and you’ll know damn near everything you need to know about the case.

Except for these fascinating facts: You had to be a black farmer to qualify to get paid the federal government. There were only 18,000 black farmers. 92,000 “black farmers” signed up to get their share of the government gold. Congress approved it, but now they want to pay out even more. It’s like the lottery on a much grander scale.

Wikipedia explains it this way:

Pigford v. Glickman was a class action lawsuit against the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), alleging racial discrimination in its allocation of farm loans and assistance between 1983 and 1997. The lawsuit ended with a settlement in which the U.S. government agreed to pay African American farmers $50,000 each if they had attempted to get USDA help but failed. To date, almost $1 billion has been paid or credited to the farmers under the settlement’s consent decree.

Turns out $1 billion isn’t enough for the income redistributing socialists in Congress. No, not nearly enough. Democrats think it would be a really good idea to ante up another $1.2 billion to pay off all those black farmers who aren’t black or aren’t farmers or aren’t both.

Ain’t socialism great?

Please allow us to introduce Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee to Sergeant Schultz. Since you both know nothing, you should get along just fine.

Special Ed was on one of his nightly rants about the unfairness of Rush Limbaugh’s success and how it can only be attributed to raaaaacism when he asked Jackson-Lee this question:

“Congresswoman, is there anything the African community can do about this? The comments speak for themselves.”

“I’m always committed to the First Amendment because as you well know,” Jackson-Lee responded. “You’ve been called Sergeant Schultz. I don’t know that to be your name. I’m a little sensitive to what that is to garner. Is that because you have a name that may be ethnically connected to being a Sergeant? I’m not sure what that is. I find that insulting as well.”

Would it be racist to point out that Sergeant Schultz was a character – a white German character – on the 1960s TV show Hogan’s Heroes?

Would it be racist to point out that Sergeant Schultz’ most famous line was “I know nothing” and that even if that is true, he’s a genius compared to Jackson-Lee?

Would it be racist to point out that it’s pronounced Lim-bah, not Lim-bow.

Seriously, Congresswoman, you should at least be able to pronounce the name of the guy you want to boycott.

Michael Moore taught the fact of life: White Americans aren’t racists

Michael Moore and CNN’s Jessica Yellin were guests on Friday’s “Real Time.” Of course, the fat fantasy filmmaker repeated his oft-heard claim that “white America does not like having a black president.”

Choosing to use the words “Michael Moore” and “facts of life” in the same sentence may have been an unfortunate mistake on our part. Seeing those words juxtaposed brings up horrible mental images that we were unprepared for when we typed them.

Nevertheless, Michael Moore and CNN’s Jessica Yellin were guests on Friday’s “Real Time.” Of course, the fat fantasy filmmaker repeated his oft-heard claim that “white America does not like having a black president.”

Believe it or not, Yellin schooled Moore on voter turnout during midterm elections and the fact that Obama’s approval ratings have nothing to do with race.

But…but…but…

Newsweek: TV show with black stars cancelled because America’s not ready for super-negros

Newsweek introduces the concept of “super-negros” to explain why a really horrible TV show was canceled. Imagine the uproar if Fox had said the same thing. Race mongering writer Allison Samuels explains it all in Newsweek.

Newsweek introduces the concept of “super-negros” to explain why a really horrible TV show was canceled. Imagine the uproar if Fox had said the same thing.

Race mongering writer Allison Samuels explains it all in Newsweek:

I think it’s possible that a slightly more obvious, disturbing reason could be behind Undercovers’ failure, and it’s pretty familiar: race. Prime-time audiences just weren’t ready for “super-negros” on the small screen. And that’s exactly what Undercovers was: a show about black people doing very “unblack” things. Before anyone gets upset, let me explain. “Super-negro” was a term my family often used while watching old Sidney Poitier movies back in the day. In Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (our favorite), Poitier portrays a black doctor in love with a white, wealthy young socialite during the ’60s. Pretty early in the film, you begin to realize that Poitier’s character is not just any black doctor (an accomplishment in itself for most people then, and now); he’s a black doctor with degrees from several Ivy League universities, an internationally known scholar behind cures of dozens of diseases in Africa and elsewhere. Overkill. But Poitier portraying a “regular negro” was simply not good enough during those times, so the “super-negro” was born. The same could be said of his character from In the Heat of the Night, a Philadelphia cop with highly decorated awards.

So if we understand Samuels’ logic, audiences 40 years ago accepted the super negro, but today’s audience won’t. Race relations, apparently, have gone backward in the last four decades.

According to HarperCollins.com, “Allison Samuels is an award-winning Newsweek correspondent who has covered sports and entertainment since 1996. Samuels is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, the Big Sisters of America, and the UCLA Black Studies Department board of directors. She lives in Los Angeles.”

Here’s another concept, Allison, you race mongering moron: Undercovers sucked. Absolutely sucked. It would have sucked if it had starred white actors. It would have sucked if it had starred Martian actors.

Well, no, actually, now that we think about it, Martian actors would have been pretty cool. Undercovers may have lasted a few more weeks if it had starred Martians as long as they weren’t super Martians. The American people just aren’t ready to accept super Martians.

Obama plays the race card, says Republicans “are counting on black folks staying home”

In this case, it was Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Tucker: Well I think it may help the Democrats in some races this time, Chris, because some of the Tea Party candidates are so extreme. But there is another issue. There is, as Norah said, a whole lot of voter anger, discontent out there. We haven’t talked about the elephant in the room, and I don’t mean the Republicans: race. Changing demographics. Fear of a white minority.

Matthews: That’s so interesting.

Tucker: Obama’s election has suddenly made many white Americans aware of the loss of a white majority.

Oh, here’s another one, Chris:

Arizona sheriff says, “I have about as much regard for the U.N. as I do the vermin”

Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever knows vermin when he sees 'em

We’d say Arizona Sheriff Larry Dever is giving the U.N. more respect than it deserves, but far be it from us to let our personal opinions color our 100% impartial presentation of the news.

Dever is sheriff of Cochise County, which lies along the Mexican border. He told CNSNews.com that he’s not happy that the U.S. State Department recently reported Arizona to the United Nations Human Rights Council. Not happy at all.

“Well, it’s just amazing to me,” Dever said. “Course, I have about as much regard for the U.N. as I do the vermin that hides in the rocks around my house here and reaches out and tries to bite me every now and then.”

President Bush blew off the U.N. Human Rights Council as a joke because its members included consistent human rights violators like China, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Russia, Cuba, Pakistan, Tunisia and Egypt.

But the Obama administration, in its infinite wisdom, couldn’t wait to join up, claiming that U.S. efforts could improve the organization.

Instead, we’re now ignoring those nations human rights violations and making up human rights violations our own states are supposedly committing.

Of course, they’re vermin. But as the scorpion said to the turtle in the punch line of that old joke, “You knew what I was when you found me.”

Sharpton rally mostly black. Why doesn’t the media hint that it was racist?

The clear implication of the liberal media was that most of the people who attended Beck’s rally were white, therefore the event must have been racist. What about Al Sharpton’s rally?

The clear implication of the liberal media was that most of the people who attended Beck’s rally were white, therefore the event must have been racist.

Here are just a few of the many examples:

“Beck says he and his overwhelmingly white followers ‘are the inheritors and protectors of the civil- rights movement.’” — Ben Adler, Newsweek

“Conservative commentator Glenn Beck and tea party champion Sarah Palin appealed Saturday to a vast, predominantly white crowd on the National Mall to help restore traditional American values and honor Martin Luther King’s message.” — Associated Press

“Many in the predominantly white crowd bent over backward to insist that they are not racists and to note that the crowd was courteous, despite heat and density.” — James Hohmann, Politico

Yet, the liberal media scrupulously avoided terming Sharpton’s rally racist, despite the fact that most of those in attendance were black.

For example, here are photos of Sharpton’s rally from the Washington Post. Nary a white face to be found. Hmmmmmm.

sharpton march

sharpton rally

And here’s coverage from PBS. Not a lot of white faces shown in that march, yet two of the three people interviewed by PBS in this clip were white. Seems raaacist to us.

And then there’s this lunatic making this outrageous comment:

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” — Martin Luther King, Jr.

Yeah, right. That’ll never happen. The race mongers and liberal media won’t let it.

Obama reports Arizona to the UN Human Rights Council, Arizona governor responds

The Obama administration submitted a report to the United Nations Human Rights Council last week and among the many American sins for which it apologized was Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law.

china human rights

The temptation to openly laugh at the United States must be getting stronger and stronger.

The Obama administration submitted a report to the United Nations Human Rights Council last week and among the many American sins for which it apologized was Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law.

Keep in mind that the beacons of brotherhood who sit on the UN Human Rights Council include Angola, Egypt, South Africa, Bangladesh, China, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and believe it or not, Cuba.

Let’s just say that Arizona Governor Jan Brewer is less than pleased. She wrote an angry letter to the President condemning the report, demanding its withdrawl and calling it “downright offensive”.

The Associated Press has the details:

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer demanded Friday that a reference to the state’s controversial immigration law be removed from a State Department report to the United Nations’ human rights commissioner.

The U.S. included its legal challenge to the law on a list of ways the federal government is protecting human rights.

In a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Brewer says it is “downright offensive” that a state law would be included in the report, which was drafted as part of a UN review of human rights in all member nations every four years.

“The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a state of the United States to ‘review’ by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional,” Brewer wrote.

Of course, the members of the Human Rights Commission listed above are confused by the concept of building a wall to keep people out. Their human rights records are all they need to do the job.

Is Rick Sanchez (a) stupid, (b) a racist, (c) a stupid racist, or (d) none of the above?

Mark this day in history. If we’re not mistaken, this is the first time any conservative website has ever defended Rick Sanchez. Of course, we’re forced to defend him by calling him stupid, but so be it.

Jessica Yellin guested on Rick’s CNN show Monday to discuss the “Is Obama a Muslim” issue.

NewsBusters.org describes the story:

Jessica Yellin explained that “this is the first time he’s talked about it since the polls showing how many Americans believe him to be Muslim came out” and that “you get the sense that he’s been sort of through this. He wants to set the record straight, but he really does seem to accept that he’s not going to convince everyone, and he’s not going to spend a lot of time and energy on something that’s not going to change.”

Sanchez replied to Yellin full of frustration: “I’m just sitting here just shaking my head. He is the cotton-picking president of the United States!” He continued with another slighter gaffe: “If the president of the United States doesn’t have enough of a bully pulpit to convince people of a lie – that a lie is a lie, I should say, then – you know, where are we? What kind of planet are we living on? What the hell is going on here?”

Moments later, after taking a commercial break, Sanchez came back with an apology, crediting his Twitter followers for spotting his error:

SANCHEZ: This is great. This is what works about having a conversation with my viewers throughout this newscast, because you know that I’m here on Twitter and I read what you write during the commercial breaks. And many of you are pointing out a fault that I just- a faux pas that I just made, and I want to apologize for it, because I obviously didn’t mean any disrespect or anything when I said that.”

Obviously, Rick Sanchez isn’t racist. He merely used a figure of speech – a perfectly acceptable figure of speech – but because of liberal political correctness gone wild, one for which he felt obligated to apologize.

Besides, Rick’s a liberal so no one ever would have seriously suggested that he’s racist. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about his stupidity.

You know that anti-ObamaCare vote in Missouri last week? The one that got 71% of the vote? Meaningless, according to Fox News’ Juan Williams, because those who voted didn’t reflect an accurate sampling of Missouri’s ethic mix.

“As far as the Missouri vote, you get 70 percent inside an echo chamber of older white people, no not in St. Louis not in Kansas City, saying, ‘Oh yeah, we don’t like a requirement that everybody has to have healthcare even though the hospitals in Missouri say it’s gonna drive up our costs.’”

“Vote for me because I’m black” campaign strategy blackfires in Tennessee congressional race

If a white candidate had campaigned in the south by saying, “Vote for me because I’m white”, it would have been featured at the top of every newscast. But, somehow, someway, it garnered nary a mention when a black candidate said, “Vote for me because I’m black.”

Fox News has the discriminatory details:

steve-cohen-willie-herenton
Steve "White Devil" Cohen and Willie "Vote For Me Because I'm Black" Herenton

In a move that may have shocked even his most ardent supporters former Memphis mayor Willie Herenton stated flat out that his campaign for a seat in Congress to represent Tennessee in the 9th district will be based on race.

Holding up a picture of the 9th district representatives Herenton said, “This is an 11-member delegation. If you look at this picture, and you’re African-American, you sense the lack of representation,” ostensibly because there are no black congressmen or senators.

His opponent for the seat, incumbent Steve Cohen may be white, be he is also Jewish. He is the only Jewish member from Tennessee. What Herenton seems to have overlooked is that the largely black ninth district elected Cohen to his present position.

Herenton, who once referred to the residents of east Shelby county as “white devils” has made quite a name for himself by not hesitating to whip out the race card to get what he wants. During his almost twenty years as Memphis mayor Herenton made an issue of race and once, after another reelection victory said that “God had ordained him” for the position.

Apparently, God did not ordain a position in Congress for Herenton, because he only got 21% of the vote, which is about 21% more than he should have received.

Cohen’s campaign strategy should have been, “Vote for me because I’m not a race baiting moron.” That’s a Democrat platform we could have supported.

Bonehead explains why Obama is considered black despite having a white mother

According to Marc Lamont Hill, Obama is black because he’s considered black by the police. Oh, yeah, and America’s full of white supremacy. Chock full.

In fact, if possible, this may be the most moronic statement Marc Lamont Hill has ever made on network television. And considering how many ludicrous things he’s said in previous TV appearances, that’s quite a statement.

According to Hill, Obama is black because he’s considered black by the police.

Oh, yeah, and America’s full of white supremacy. Chock full.

Hill’s comments have convinced us that white supremacy is rampant in the United States. Because, for god’s sake, it would be tough to find any causasians who aren’t superior to this moron.

(Editor’s note: It would be equally difficult to find any other African-Americans, Asian-Americans, American Indians, East Indians or Amphibian-Americans who aren’t his superiors. Because Hill is, in two words, a dumb shit.)

President Obama calls African-Americans “mongrels,” sex poodle has no comment

President Obama waded into the national race debate in an unlikely setting and with an unusual choice of words: telling daytime talk show hosts that African-Americans are “sort of a mongrel people.”

Had a conservative called African-Americans “mongrels”, there wouldn’t be a font size large enough for the headlines that would have run in the mainstream media. Think Pearl Harbor multiplied by Man Lands On Moon. The headline in the New York Times would have taken up the whole front page.

pearl-harbor-headline
This is a small headline compared to what would run if a conservative had called African-Americans "mongrels"

But when President Obama said it on The View, the mainstream media just nodded and winked. Witness the following story from The Hill:

President Obama waded into the national race debate in an unlikely setting and with an unusual choice of words: telling daytime talk show hosts that African-Americans are “sort of a mongrel people.”

The president appeared on ABC’s morning talk show “The View” Thursday, where he talked about the forced resignation of Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod, his experience with race and his roots.

When asked about his background, which includes a black father and white mother, Obama said of African-Americans: “We are sort of a mongrel people.”

“I mean we’re all kinds of mixed up,” Obama said. “That’s actually true of white people as well, but we just know more about it.”

What a wonderfully post-racial thing to say. It is a good thing that Saint President Obama has transcended all racism now so that remarks like this are no longer offensive.

Unless a Republican were to say it, in which case it would be time to break out the giant fonts again.

Oops! Former racist who’s now a non-racist and accuses others of being racists is married to a racist

Shirley Sherrod’s husband, Charles Sherrod, sounds suspiciously racist in this video clip. Unless maybe we’re just not up on urban slang and his reference to “the white man and his uncle Toms” is like the word bad, which really means good. Yeah, that’s probably it.

According to the left wing media, that Shirley Sherrod woman has renounced her racist past and is now pure as the driven snow. There’s not a prejudiced bone in her body. She’s a regular Rosa Parks. She’s Nelson Mandella in drag.

Except for one thing. One tiny little thing. Her husband, Charles Sherrod, sounds suspiciously racist in this video clip. Unless maybe we’re just not up on urban slang and his reference to “the white man and his uncle Toms” is like the word bad, which really means good. Yeah, that’s probably it.

Sherrod: Finally, we must stop the white man and his Uncle Toms from stealing our elections. We must not be afraid to vote black and we must not be afraid to turn a black out who votes against our interests. In a few days or weeks, the FCC will announce that we have won a full power community-owned radio station in all the majority. The result of years of work. Tears that we shed so many times when the TV and the newspaper comes out the day of an election or the day before an election and tell white folk all over wherever we’re running someone for an office that blacks are going to take this office over. And thousands are coming to the polls. And you gotta get it. But we had no means of communicating with our people. so it’s a blessing that finally we will have a radio station to communicate with thousands of people.

Oh, by the way, these paragons of virtue named their daughter Russia. Russia Sherrod. For real.

(Read all of our Shirley Sherrod stories, and we have a lot of them.)
