Tennessee introduces the Cuban curriculum, elementary school students sing “Boycott big business”

by editor on April 26, 2011

If there’s anyone out there who still doubts that green is the new red, just watch this video clip and have those doubts eliminated once and for all.

Here are students at Riverwood Elementary School in Cordova, Tennessee singing about the glories of Earth Day and the evils of big business.

Brainwash them while they’re young.

GOOD FOR THEM! Big business IS the root of all evils in this country. I am a independent capitalist. I believe in the power of small businesses to succeed and flourish without big business squashing them. Do you like $4 Gal gas when you can’t afford groceries that are tainted by GMO’s and pesticides? Buy local, buying American, banking locally, biofuel co-op’s are all patriotic and pro-American! Brainwashed Lefties are as insane as brainwashed neocon’s. Get a brain people and think for yourself! The people in this great country are beginning to remind me of the citizens of Germany in 1942….

This is the evil things these corporations do: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/2011/06/05/2011-06-05_florida_couple_threatens_bank_of_america_branch_with_foreclosure_after_they_were.html

Singing anti-big business tunes that were downloaded to their ipods while wearing their nike shoes, and waiting for mommy to pick them up in the car after visiting the greedy gas station then off to the mall for some shopping. Yup, makes sense to stop using big business products.

It really is sad just how stupid kids are today…..corrupted by the very ones we, as parents, entrust to educate our children…………. it is so true…..

There is an old adage; “if you are not a liberal at 20, you don’t have a heart…and if you are not conservative by 40, you just don’t have a brain…”,’never held so true….and these are the incompetent idiots in our education system….

Our white house come to mind?

Notice the video was removed by YouTube. Like most of the videos of the klutzie non-athletic Obama. We all need to start realizing that the left uses the media – Internet included – as a giant propaganda machine, and organizations like YouTube and Google are firmly in the leftwing camp, so they quickly act to hide information which shows the truth about the left.

cstrasburger

Being a scratch golfer personally, along with everything else, onumbnutz, embarrases me…..speaking of klutzie, idiotic, moronic, uneducated, illiterate, corrupt, obama-schmuck…..I’d be embarrassed to even be anywhere on the golf course with this idiot.

You have to remember, everything about the left is a lie…and they have to lie….if they didn’t…they’d never be elected to even dog catcher…at some point, intelligence has to come into the picture….though have to wonder these days……………

Hope you didn’t teach them how to spell or avoid acting like an idiot — otherwise, we’ve got a good reason to call CPS on you.

They figure: ” ‘from the mouths of babes comes the truth’ and hence we can use it for our propaganda purposes… ”

I call this evil. Hey maybe it is too heavy a word, but using children for propaganda I don’t care what sides uses it is not right.

To those of you that believe everything you read on the internet, without checking facts and figures.
Let me tell you that today, I proved how gullible you are. The complete incompetence of your theory’s are nonfactual, because you will not check any facts on any issues, you could not even offer a single fact to defend any position you held, and by buying into anything that seem true, you are only cheating yourselves of real discussion on topics that are important to the United States of America today.
Close-mindedness and Xenophobia is not an ethical values.
1. I am not Chinese, Marxist. I am an American Conservative voter.
2. You will believe anything that is on the internet because it fits your worldviews today. Because you do not think for yourself, but let others do it for you. Thus casting a vote or throwing your beliefs around like popcorn seeds. Without facts any belief is meaningless.
3. You have been pranked! So learn from this lesson and be a better citizen.
Wake up!

American needs smarts to get us out of the political mire we are in, not brain dead farts in the wind! Some of you can remember the old computer data adage “Garbage in = Garbage out”. As well as, “If you want to use your brain, learn to operate it”.

Wow, uh huh, uh huh, gorsh Jin Lang Fa (Chinese for Mickey Mouse) I’ve been had! You were sooo clever and I believed everything that came out of your I/O. You are soo smart and I am soo dumb. So if you were lying to us then are you lying to us now? “I am an American Conservative voter.” I mean, inquiring minds want to know!

A few good quotes on indoctrination…

A university is not a political party, and an education is not an indoctrination.
David Horowitz

Education is indoctrination if you’re white – subjugation if you’re black.
James A. Baldwin

The United States is unusual among the industrial democracies in the rigidity of the system of ideological control – “indoctrination,” we might say – exercised through the mass media.
Noam Chomsky

It’s time to take a closer look at the well-tested tactics used by Communist regimes to alter minds and create “the new Soviet man,” for it’s happening here.

If you know anything about earth day, it was established and celebrates on Lenin’s birthday of all people. So that there alone should tell you the mind set of the celebrants. One of the original people who pushed this scam is a murder who was on the run for more than 25 years.

By this school doing this, it is just another reason for school choice. A follow up should be done on this story to see how many parents flip out over this little “rap”.

This is simple brainwashing and indoctrination, nothing more or less.

None of what you stated is by accident.

I missed the earth day celebration in San Diego this year. Boo-freakin’-Hoo. But last year, I was drumming for some dancers there. When I left, I looked around, and couldn’t believe the quantity of trash left behind by the eco-freaks. Most of it on the ground, not in trash bins. Hypocrites.

The problem with this biased article is that there is no Cuban influence at all in the kids or the song. Its a pro-environmental tune, not a anti-capitalist hymn. Americans have no understanding about what is Marxist Cuban doctrine or life in Cuba today, because of the media and geographical isolation that we have in the States. Lets see how may of you have travel to 2 foreign or more countries (Not places at war or for military missions ie. -Iraq) in your life time? Name the countries. if you never traveled outside the US state that as well. I come back in a few hours and tally the poll.

RockingHorseGuy

Mr. Editor stated, “Environmentalism is indistinguishable from Marxism.”
Jin comes back with some nonsense about dictionary definitions. Jin, we don’t need to look up the terms in a dictionary. We look at the actions, the rhetoric, the RESULTS, and we agree with Mr. Editor. Kindly return your sorry ass to one of those other countries, and stay there.

Open your eyes and look around you, Jin. Are you seriously going to try to make the case for environmentalism NOT being anti-capitalist? Go ahead.

To stupid Jin Long Fa(hcker): Why don’t you indoctrinate…er, I mean “teach” us what life is like in Cuba, since you know so much. I am serious, dumbass, please tell us how wonderful Cuban life is. Since I know you are going to tell us how great it is, feel free to move your stupid ass down there, and leave us alone.

“Its a pro-environmental tune, not a anti-capitalist hymn.”

Seriously? It is both. Can you listen?

You are an idiot.

I have been and/or lived in 9 countries. I don’t need to give you a full list because all in all who the heck do you think you are?

They real problem with all things socialist is that it dies without capitalism. That’s because it is parasitic because it has to be. Because socialism produces nothing of value, it must take from those who do to give to those who don’t. All in the name of the collective mind you, but like a tick, it cannot live without a host to suck the blood from, & the smart ones( a very small percentage)understand this.

If this is not reason enough to eliminate the liberal control of our education system, nothing is. Forget all the other garbage kids today are being corrupted with. I saw nothing that indicated that anyone was questioning anything sung….only a staunch belief because the school said it, it must be true.

Dyrewulf above, is right. And one thing, those of us that CAN think for ourselves know, the “facts” being taught are anything but…. These liberals have been preying on the most vulnerable for far too long….and they are worse than what are considered child predators/abusers…..

YT

This is the reason to eliminate gov’t control of education. I don’t want to switch out liberal stooge lesson planners with any other stooge.

The entire political argument in America is one giant false choice. We argue over who gets to hold the club to beat citizens over the head with, our guy or their guy. Nobody seems to think of option C) get rid of the club.

I was all prepared to be outraged, but that video was really tame. What’s the contentious point here? The kids say, “Boycott, petition, let the big business know, that if we mess it up here, there’s nowhere else we can go.” If my kids find a product or business morally objectionable, I’d want them to petition or boycott it. That’s a freedom we have in this country. The message is pretty vague though. Don’t mess up the Earth? Who can disagree with that?

The rest of what they say can be summed up as, “carpool, recycle, and don’t litter”, all things I’ve been doing for years. This post feels like forced, manufactured outrage.

Hey Jin, being a moron and all, I know you are just talking moronic smack. If China does take over as the #1 economy, it’s because America’s government has been punishing capitalism for decades. It’s mainly been demo’rats who’ve put their dirty little weasly fingers into every aspect of our economy; the demo’rats admire your stupid country’s form of governance, so send them all a thank you letter. By the way…fools used to say that the Japs would take us over back in the 1980s and that didn’t happen either. Your communist government will collapse upon itself if America succumbs to the whims of the anti-capitalist demo’rats. Then, I’ll be laughing at you, pinko commie!

I will sell you all the gadgets and machinery you’ll ever need.
At a price, of courses. To show you how Marxist Capitalism really works wonders. How’s that PC and your Iphone we made for you?
Soon GM and Ford will ship your Camaro’s and Mustangs and Cadillac’s from our Xichigan industrial city (Not Michigan). All the while the CIA or Cocaine Importing Agency, will get help from us to bring in the goodies via our Chinese operated Panama canal to you defeated drug abusing population.

That sure went downhill fast.

All’s I know is that the resource of a nation is its people. China has its own unique circumstances affecting its people, and it remains to be seen as to what happens in the next several years. The spirit of those lost in the 6 4 incident are not the spirit of those remaining in China — and I wait to see whether they are given respect, or ignored in favor of the crass mercantilism that allows people to think it acceptable to put melamine in infant formula for consumption by their own countrymen.

I wish china no ill — but I also don’t believe all the babbling in the financial press. Even so, being the number one nation isn’t what its all cracked up to be. Every schmuck in the world wants to take you down, or has their hands out, wanting money.

If you win that race, don’t be thinking that it’s any great prize. Sometimes the best grace you can receive is to be left alone.

Yes very important to be careful with the food products from China AND lets also thank Jin and gang for lead in/on our children’s toys and women makeup and such. Thanks Marxist capitalism for endangering the lives of so many with cheap ass products hooray!

KimmyQueen

The point like the uhm uhm uhm song for Obama is that children shouldnt be used for propaganda. They could have kept it vague and about protection of the world WITHOUT introducing “boycott” of business. I can tell you right now those kids don’t know what the heck boycotting business is. I have no problem with the recycle, re-use and reduce message, but the Big Biz is evil message is just wrong to have little kids into that. Let them KNOW what Big Biz is how it truly affects THEIR own individual lives and form their OWN opinions as they grow up and when they are mature to have an opinion they can exercise their rights as they see fit.

Glitzhsz2

The recycle stuff is the gateway drug. That loosens ’em up so they’re ready for Algore in a couple of years.

Next little green books, uniforms, inform on parents who dispose of plastic, forced relocation to green communities, reeducation camps? Its really no wonder the majority of kids graduation from High School can’t identify North America on an atlas.
Good thing these type of teachers belong to their socialist unions, that way they can’t be fired for this type of arrogance stupidity

…I agree with Sabbath, and would point out that at this point Global Warming (I refuse to use the re-branded ‘climate change’ nonsense, stopping ‘climate change’ is about as realisitic as stopping time) IS a big business.

danybhoy

What I find funny is that all of the anti business, & anti capitalist types we have out there, seem to be brand loyal. Apple has been mentioned, Starbucks would be antother, & all of the other things that they love are avilable because of capitalism. Businesses big & small bring all the sh!t they enjoy, & they are too stupid to see that.

Black Sabbath
Guest

Wouldn’t you love to sit down with these kids and ask them exactly what big business is and what it does that they must stand against? Ask them to show you some examples of big business in their lives. Then show them some – the big business that make their cars, homes, lumber, schools, clothes, iPods, rap stars, tennis shoes, basketballs, basketball arenas and sports teams. Ask them which one of these should be boycotted. Ask them what they want to do when they grow up. Then ask them how they intend to avoid big business when it comes to getting a job or going to school or interacting in an economy.
I bet you’ll see a lot of blank stares.

Boycotts are good. And our next one, boys and girls, will be Toys-R-Us. That’s an EVIL business.

(Spoken in your best zombie voice – think Homer Simpson) We-must-boy-cott Toys-R-Us …..

And for teenagers, anything Apple. We-must-boy-cott-iPad …..

Hahahaha! The poor wee darlings would be traumatized!

YT

I agree. Screw Apple.

I had to shell out $20 for a apple compatible USB cord for super-wife’s ipod? WTF?

Because I am so awesome, all my devices are mini USB. If a product and USB don’t play I don’t pay.

I also love how the new iphone has a LiPo battery like that is some hot sh*t. My first mp3 player with a magnetic drive (creative Zen) has a LiPo AND I don’t need any propriety connectors or software to move files onto it.

Damn kids and their apples. What happened to that whole breaking free thing Apple did in the 80s?

KimmyQueen
Guest

True, true. However of course it is not really the kids’ fault. At this point in time they cannot be held responsible for their ignorance and whatever indoctrination they have received. You can ask them those questions and you will get blank stares, however it is not them it is the teachers (and the parents that allow this crap) that are at fault and whom you should probably speak to as well.

Babydoll102187

These kids are only repeating what they are being taught. That is the true problem, what passes for “education” in this country.

Dyrewulf
Member

This kind of action is horrible, as are a lot of the ‘facts’ school teachers are teaching children these days. I keep having to point out opposing facts and critical thinking to my daughter, yet she’s been ‘in trouble’ briefly at school for pointing out contrary facts (to Al Gore’s point of view). I put an end to that ‘in trouble’ quickly.
