California representative blasts MSNBC’s Ed Schultz in House speech

by editor on January 29, 2010

We love Congressman Tom McClintock. The state of California would have been a lot better off if he had been elected Governor instead of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Radio Equalizer notes that McClintock didn’t take kindly to MSNBC blowhard Ed Schultz’ suggestion that he would stuff the ballot box to defeat Scott Brown in the recent Massachusetts election. The California Republican took to the floor of the House of Representatives to rip Schultz a new one.

In response, Schultz blasted McClintock for having the temerity to suggest that he had advocated anything improper, such as, you know, voting twenty times.

Sadly for Schultz, the people watching McClintock’s speech on C-SPAN probably outnumbered those listening to his radio show.

First, here’s McClintock on the floor of the House.

And now here’s Schultz pathetic, bombastic response.

One final comment:

Ed says, “You can’t even say anything in ‘gist’ anymore.” The word is “jest”, Ed.

Well only MSNBC would allow such a morally corrupt empty talking head on the air. Even as Congress condemns his voter fraud rant, he mocks Congress as the joke. I keep watching for his new gig on the Comedy Channel, Oops MSNBC is the comedy channel… nevermind.

Saying it once in “gist” is okay. (He actually scrambled to get the word out and got it wrong anyway, he is an idiot)… but saying variations of the same thing three times is not okay and in my opinion determines that it wasn’t a joke that he really meant it and the Representative said that.

Had Rush or O’Reilly or Beck said the same exact thing he would be all over them for days and perhaps weeks, even if they had only said it ONCE and they explained that it was a joke in poor taste.

Special Ed would probably end up physically challenging him if he runs into him at some point. His temped tends to get the better of him.
