On one hand, the guy gave a big speech in Cairo that was supposed to make the Muslim world love us, but it doesn’t. On the other hand, he didn’t say a word in Latin America and they do love us.
The conclusion seems obvious: Shut the hell up, President Obama.

The White House is touting a changing attitude toward the United States in Latin America as it seeks to minimize anti-American sentiments in advance of President Barack Obama’s visit there later this week.
Deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes said Wednesday that Obama is “hugely popular” in Latin America, and overall, the opinion of U.S. leadership there is on the rise. He said leaders in the region, like Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, can no longer stoke anti-American sentiment to promote their agendas.
Eager to cast the U.S. and Latin American countries as strong partners, Rhodes said, “There’s no region in the world that we’re more deeply engaged in than the Americas.”Obama will promote that theme personally during a five-day trip to Brazil, Chile and El Salvador.
Wonder what Obama’s approval rating is in Caracas these days.
