Jimmy Carter demonstrates his dementia

Former President Jimmy Carter told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, “Ronald Reagan only had less than 51% of the vote, but he won because of a third-party candidate.”

Jimmy Carter and Hardball. Just reading those words is enough to let you know something odd is about to happen.

In this case, the former President told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, “Ronald Reagan only had less than 51% of the vote, but he won because of a third-party candidate.”

We’re not even quite sure what that means, but since Carter is in the middle of his 30th Annual Carter Presidency Rehabilitation Tour, you knew he’d say something stupid.

For a few years people were saying, “Jimmy Carter is the best former president we’ve ever had.” Now they’re just saying, “Who is that crazy old coot?”
