President Obama’s popularity has been sinking faster than the Titanic lately. This is confirmed by today’s Rasmussen Presidential Tracking Poll.
32% of voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. 34% Strongly Disapprove. That gives the President a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2%
That’s the first time President Obama’s daily rating has ever gone into negative territory.
Rasmussen says, “Sixty percent (60%) of Democrats Strongly Approve of the President’s performance but only 8% of Republicans share that view. Sixty-one percent (61%) of Republicans Strongly Disapprove.”
Say bye-bye healthcare. Say adios cap and trade. Say au revoir further stimulus.
We can’t wait for this movie. Sacha Baron Cohen is crude and rude, blasphemous and hilarious. Here’s a red carpet interview with Bruno at the star studded London premiere. His ability to ad lib in character is remarkable.

“What I’m trying to undo tonight,” Bruno says, “is the badness done by that film ‘Milk’ which has really set the gay community back 20 years with that terrible stereotype.”
Of course, he says it while prancing around in leather hotpants and a Beefeater hat.
Hey, Morgan, is that an Oscar in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"
Move over, Woody Allen. Make room for Morgan Freeman in the Vaguely Perverted Hall of Fame.
Freeman and his wife of 25 years, Myrna Colley-Lee, are going through an ugly divorce. Part of the ugliness revolves around accusations that the 72-year old actor carried on decade-long affair with E’Dena Hines, his step-granddaughter.
Hines is the granddaughter of Morgan’s first wife, but was raised by Morgan and Myrna.
“Myrna said E’dena told her that when she was a teenager, she and Morgan went to dinner at a friend’s house one evening,” a family friend told the Enquirer. “Both had been drinking and when they returned home Morgan attempted to have sex with her. They stopped just short of having intercourse.”
Myrna confronted Morgan about the incident, but somehow managed to look the other way while the forbidden relationship escalated.
Freeman’s not talking. Probably on the advice of his attorney, his accountant, and anyone else with an ounce of sense.
Barack Obama is an amazing man. He spoke in Cairo on June 4 and instantly transformed the entire Middle East. In fact, the transformation has been so complete that the dictatorial regime in Egypt can now give Obama lessons on how to speak out against the brutal Iranian regime.
WTF? Iranian protesters get more support from the Egyptian dictatorship than they do from President Obama.
Barack Obama is an amazing man. He spoke in Cairo on June 4 and instantly transformed the entire Middle East. In fact, the transformation has been so complete that the dictatorial regime in Egypt can now give Obama lessons on how to speak out against the brutal Iranian regime.
Here’s a translation of a June 18 editorial from the Egyptian government daily Al-Ahram:
Events in Iran have followed in close succession since the announcement that fundamentalist candidate Ahmadinejad was elected to a second term in the presidential elections. Between the mass demonstrations [of the reformists] decrying electoral fraud, and the counter-demonstrations accusing the reformists of allegiance to the West, the international community has stood confused about what position to take towards this democratic outpouring in a country that is on the threshold of acquiring nuclear capabilities, something all international and regional actors consider an unwelcome development.
The caution that has characterized the position of the principle international actors towards the abuses occurring in the streets of Iran, up to and including the killing [of protesters], may be sending the wrong message to the ruling powers there. The upshot of this message is that the strong desire to reach a political resolution to the Iranian nuclear crisis and to avoid a clash with the Iranian authorities is a goal that supersedes all other considerations – even if these other considerations be support for international principles and human rights, and the urging of the [Iranian] government to stop the violence and bloodshed and to lend an ear to the views of the Iranian opposition. [This opposition] has expressed its rejection of the election results and its resistance to a second term for the current president, primarily for domestic reasons, and principle among them [Ahmadinejad’s] failed management of the economy.
In other words, grow some cojones, President Obama.
(“Cojones,” of course, is an Arabic word meaning “backbone.”)
This multimedia presentation is one of the best anti-Obama videos we seen in quite sometime. Great foot-tapping music, hundreds of images, and it perfectly captures the mood of the left in America, who ask, Obama, here’s my check?

As they used to say on American Bandstand, “It’s got a great beat and I can dance it to.”
Warning: Do not invite Mullah Nazeer Ahmad and Barack Obama to the same dinner party
Barack Obama is turning into Washington, DC’s version of Rodney Dangerfield. He’s apologized to nearly everyone and still can’t get any respect.
Angela Merkel is appalled by his economic program. Hugo Chavez insults him. Mahmoud Achmadinejad fixes an election with inpugnity. Kim Jong-Il ignores him. Fidel Castro taunts him. And now, in the ultimate sign of disrespect, a Taliban spokesman is comparing him to George Bush.
Mullah Nazeer Ahmad, Emir of the Taliban Mujahideen in Pakistan’s South Waziristan, insists the Taliban’s jihad will not end when the U.S. pulls out of Afghanistan. Nope. He says the Taliban jihad is going global.
“One white ass has gone. A black ass has taken over in his place. To have any expectations will corrode our belief. We put our trust only in Allah…We cannot expect from Bush or Obama that they will be relief for us. Instead, our difficulties are soothed by jihad.”
Yeah, we’ve always found that there’s nothing more soothing than slicing off an infidel’s head to sooth us at the end of a long, stressful week. Either that or an apple cocktail.
How’s that apology tour working out for you, Mr. President?
We’re going to try something different this weekend. We’re going to open the comments of this thread up for whatever it is you would like to talk about.

“Until we get the economy moving again,” Jim Cramer told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, “I think everybody just kind of wishes Obama would go away for a little bit.”
A New York Times poll showed that Americans are more concerned about deficits than stimulus. “Until we get the economy moving again,” Jim Cramer told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, “I think everybody just kind of wishes Obama would go away for a little bit.”
“I wish he’d go away with me,” fantasized MSNBC host Chris Matthews with a faraway look in his eyes.
The liberal media swears up and down that it’s impartial. Completely unbiased.
Of course, that doesn’t exactly square up with the revelation that 130 ABC employees made donations to Obama, but only 4 donated to McCain/Palin.
ABC employees only favored Obama by a 33-to-1 ratio. Why would you doubt their impartiality?
The liberal media swears up and down that it’s impartial. Completely unbiased.
Of course, that doesn’t exactly square up with the revelation that 130 ABC employees made donations to Obama, but only 4 donated to McCain/Palin.
But it may explain why ABC News was granted the exclusive right to tout Obama’s healthcare fiasco in an all-day White House-a-thon broadcast on June 24.
Ace of Spades notes:
If a Muslim group accuses them of exhibiting anti-Muslim bias, they don’t pooh-pooh that charge. They immediately have meetings with the group, put a panel on the subject on Nightline, elevate a Muslim journalist to some sort of bias-ombudsman position, etc.
They take such charges of bias seriously, in other words, so long as the charges come from groups associated with the left.
It’s only when Republicans charge bias they dismiss the complaints and refuse to make any attempts at amelioration at all.
ABC. It used to stand for “American Broadcasting Company,” but now it stands for “All Barack Channel.”
Russian strongman Vladamir Putin thinks Barack Obama’s plan to raise taxes on American business is nuts. Just plain nuts.
Russian strongman Vladamir Putin thinks Barack Obama’s plan to raise taxes on American business is nuts. Just plain nuts.
Yes, you read that correctly. The power behind the Russian throne understands capitalism better than the President of the United States.
Here’s how the Moscow Times reports it:
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Monday criticized U.S. President Barack Obama’s plan to raise taxes on U.S. companies’ foreign operations, saying it would amount to double taxation that will hurt the global economy.
“This is a serious decision for the world economy,” Putin said at a meeting of the Presidium, the government said on its web site. “If taxes are imposed on all companies working abroad, then it will mean the total destruction of the system for avoiding double taxation.”
This should come as no surprise. Communists never understand economics as well as former communists.
The Obama administration will order the Navy to hail and request permission to inspect North Korean ships at sea suspected of carrying arms or nuclear technology, but will not board them by force.
Kim Jong-Il tries to stifle a laugh as he hears President Obama's latest tough talk
Watch out, Kim Jong-Il. President Obama’s on the warpath. Well, it’s not so much the “warpath” as it is the “talk-really-nice-and-dictators-will-do-what-you-want path.”
It’s been reported that he’s ordered the American Navy to ask real nicely if we can inspect the cargo on North Korea’s ships.
Here’s how the New York Times reports it: “The Obama administration will order the Navy to hail and request permission to inspect North Korean ships at sea suspected of carrying arms or nuclear technology, but will not board them by force, senior administration officials said Monday.”
“Well, sure, Imperialist Yankee Dogs. Come aboard and take a look. And while you’re here, let’s have a little kim chee.”
We suspect that this will work out about as well as Obama’s fist bump with Hugo Chavez and his pretty letter to Mahmoud Achmadinejad.
Maybe there is something to this reincarnation stuff. Because it sure looks like Barack Obama was Neville Chamberlain in a previous life.
Labour Foreign Office Minister Chris Bryant wants to dump the Red Cross’ well-known logo because it is supposedly linked to the Crusades against muslims.
The offensive Red Cross flag is causing great gnashing of teeth among the British Parliament's lunatic left
There’s a reason Gordon Brown’s Labour party is going down in flames. Well, there are actually a lot of reasons. But here’s another one.
Labour Foreign Office Minister Chris Bryant wants to dump the Red Cross’ well-known logo because it is supposedly linked to the Crusades.
Forget the fact that the logo has been one of the world’s most identifiable symbols for more than 100 years. Bryant is quivering with fear that it may suddenly offend Muslims. And that, of course, simply will not fly in today’s politically correct world.
Don’t dispair. There are voices of reason in the British Parliament.
Hey, wait a minute. That offensive Red Cross flag looks a lot like the offensive Swiss flag.
“At face value to the layman it seems at best a solution looking for a problem,” said Philip Davies, a Tory Member of Parliament, “and at worst another example of extreme political correctness. No one has ever suggested to me that the Red Cross refers to the Crusades.”
Davies is on the right track. Turns out the logo has absolutely nothing to do with the Crusades. In fact, the Red Cross Movement wasn’t founded until 1863. It’s logo, a red cross on a white background, is the reverse of the Swiss flag. It’s never had any religious meaning and tradition says it’s a tribute to legendary Swiss neutrality.
Davies is also demanding that Hershey change the logo for the Hershey bar because it’s half nuts and that will offend Muslims, too.
The Obama administration is poised for its most forceful confrontation with the American public on the sweeping and life-altering consequences of a failure to act on global warming with the release today of a long-awaited scientific report on climate change.
Democracy? You want democracy? Haven't you heard about global warming?
Here’s how the Guardian UK reports Obama’s release Wednesday of a new report on global warming:
“The Obama administration is poised for its most forceful confrontation with the American public on the sweeping and life-altering consequences of a failure to act on global warming with the release today of a long-awaited scientific report on climate change.”
And here’s how the same newspaper reports his response to the democratic movement in Iran:
“It’s not productive given the history of U.S.-Iranian relations to be seen as meddling.”
It’s also not productive, apparently, to have a backbone or core beliefs.
PETA, aka People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, should now stand for People for the Equivalent Treatment of Anything. The organization officially became a caricature of itself as it criticized President Obama for swatting a fly.
There’s really nothing left to satirize. Absolutely nothing. Soon The Onion will be running straight news, because everything has become parody.
PETA, aka People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, should now stand for People for the Equivalent Treatment of Anything. The organization officially became a caricature of itself as it criticized President Obama for swatting a fly.
“We support compassion even for the most curious, smallest and least sympathetic animals,” PETA spokesman Bruce Friedrich said. “Swatting a fly on TV indicates he’s not perfect.”
So to make sure it doesn’t happen again, PETA sent the president a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, which allows users to trap and release flies.
On the bright side, life must be practically heaven on earth when this is all you have to complain about.
For the record, we love animals and hate animal cruelty. But how is a fly the same as an animal? What’s next, equal rights for mosquitoes?
Just picture how the Barack Obama action figure will stimulate their imaginations as they pretend they’re stimulating the economy. They can pull the string and hear the Obama action figure apologize in 12 languages. They can even pretend to appoint a car czar to run Matchbox Cars.
Believe it or not, this is an authentic product currently being sold on eBay.
What self-respecting American kids would want a baby-killing G.I. Joe or an oppressed female Barbie when they can have an action figure based on the Greatest President In The History of the Universe.
Just picture how the Barack Obama action figure will stimulate their imaginations as they pretend they’re stimulating the economy. They can pull the string and hear the Obama action figure apologize in 12 languages. They can even pretend to appoint a car czar to run Matchbox Cars.
Note: Karl Marx action figures sold separately. Batteries not included.
Things are getting so tense on the Korean Peninsula that Yoko Ono has threatened to go nuclear.
What did South Korea do to piss off Yoko Ono so badly?
Things are getting so tense on the Korean Peninsula that Yoko Ono has threatened to go nuclear.
According to the Associated Press, “North Korea’s communist regime has warned of a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula while vowing to step up its atomic bomb-making program in defiance of new U.N. sanctions.”
“The North’s defiance presents a growing diplomatic headache for President Barack Obama as he prepares for talks Tuesday with his South Korean counterpart on the North’s missile and nuclear programs.”
Update: We’ve just been informed that the photo attached to this article is actually of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il, not Yoko Ono. Our deepest apologies to Kim. No one should be mistaken for Yoko Ono.
Glenn Beck was at his best last night when he interviewed fired Inspector General Gerald Walpin. And for a guy who’s supposed to be disoriented and demented, Walpin was pretty damn good, too.
Beck tops the whole interview off by giving Walpin the official government test used to determine if someone is suffering from dementia.

The clip is 11:30 minutes long, but worth watching. You’ll quickly discover that Walpin may be disarming, but he certainly isn’t disoriented.
An idiot imam tells Muslims to boycott Pepsi because its name is really an acronym that stands for “Pay Every Penny Saving Israel.”
These are tough times in the soft drink wars. Last week Hugo Chavez banned Coke Zero in Venezuela. This week, an idiot imam tells Muslims to boycott Pepsi because its name is really an acronym that stands for “Pay Every Penny Saving Israel.”
Todd Stern, President Barack Obama’s special envoy on climate change, tried to sound optimistic when the US delegation ended its China visit but could hardly conceal that little had been achieved
Sad to say, that's us, squatting in some squalid alley getting our daily fix of Chinese money.
The Obama administration just concluded climate negotiations with China. No breakthroughs were achieved, but at least both nations now understand their respective roles:
China is the drug dealer, America is the junkie. They have the really good stuff we want: money. Just like any good drug dealer, they got us hooked with cheap prices, but now that we’re addicted the price they demand is going up.
Here’s how the Financial Times reports the results of the Obama administration’s recent climate negotiations with China:
Todd Stern, President Barack Obama’s special envoy on climate change, tried to sound optimistic when the US delegation ended its China visit but could hardly conceal that little had been achieved…
Chinese officials maintained that the two countries should have a “common but differentiated approach” – code for Beijing’s reluctance to adopt a formal domestic mandate to reduce its carbon emissions. The US Congress is considering a bill that would reduce US emissions to 83 per cent of 2005 levels by 2020. China wants the US to cut its emissions to 40 per cent below 1990 levels by 2020 – a different order of magnitude. It also wants the US to pledge up to 1 per cent of its gross domestic product to pay for clean technology in China and elsewhere.
Read that again. The Chinese want us to cripple American industry with carbon emission regulations from which they’ll be exempt. Then they want us to pay them 1% of our GDP to give the latest technology to their industries.
Sadly enough, we’ll probably do it because we’re addicted to their money. And like any good junkie, we’ll steal to feed our habit. Unfortunately, we’re stealing from our children and grandchildren.
Do you know how many people have actually died of swine flu worldwide in the last two months (according to the World Health Organization)?
You cannot protect yourself from Media Flu simply by covering your mouth. You must also cover your eyes and ears.
In the two months since the first case of swine flu popped up in Mexico on April 13, we’ve been inundated with media reports regarding our imminent demise.
They said we’re all going to get it. We’re all going to die. Borders were closed. People were quarantined. Trade was halted. We desperately need billions of dollars in research grants. We need a vaccine to keep us from going the way of the dinosaurs. It’s the greatest health disaster since 20,000,000 people died of the Spanish Flu of 1918. Oh, the humanity.
Let’s get back to reality now. Do you know how many people have actually died of swine flu worldwide in the last two months (according to the World Health Organization)?
A. 1,440,000
B. 144,000
C. 14,400
D. 1440
E. 144
ANSWER: If you chose E, you are correct. A grand total of just 144 people have died of Swine Flu worldwide. In contrast, WHO says the three main strains of flu cause somewhere between 250,000 to 500,000 deaths a year globally. That’s somewhere between 685 and 1370 per day.
Obviously, it’s much easier to fall victim to Media Flu than Swine Flu. But Swine Flu is easier to cure and much less deadly.
