In the first part, black tea partiers educate a black Democrat who just couldn’t comprehend why other black people would support Beck and attend the rally. In the second part we get a white guy who’s baffled by the concept of black and Christian being used as adjectives to describe the same person.
Ahhhh, the gentle voices of liberal tolerance and understanding as expressed at Saturday’s Glenn Beck rally in Washington, DC.
Consider this clip in two parts:
In the first part, black tea partiers educate a black Democrat who just couldn’t comprehend why other black people would support Beck and attend the rally.
In the second part we get a white guy who’s baffled by the concept of black and Christian being used as adjectives to describe the same person.
But he’s a liberal, so that’s not racism. It’s enlightenment.
I Want Your Money is a new documentary that contrasts the words and actions of Presidents Reagan and Obama. Sure, it sounds like a yawner, but based on the trailer it actually looks like it might be a lot of fun.
We have a feeling that President Reagan’s reputation is about to experience a renaissance.

Somehow we doubt that this one will gain the kind of nationwide distribution enjoyed by Michael Moore’s hatefests. You’ll probably have to seek it out, but it looks like it might be worth the effort.
If you liked the government’s “free cell phones for the poor scam,” you’re going to love the new “free high-speed internet access for the poor” program.
It's free! Free! Free! Except for the overburdened American taxpayer.
If you liked the government’s “free Safelink cell phones for the poor scam,” you’re going to love the new “free high-speed internet access for the poor” program. Or as we like to call it, the precursor to free internet radio, free internet TV, and free internet movies for all.
Unfortunately, that free internet service isn’t coming from companies like NetZero.com or Google TiSP. It’s coming from the government. Which means you, the American taxpayer, will be paying for someone else’s free internet.
Arstechnica.com tells the tale of our new free broadband Big Brother:
Former FCC Commissioner Deborah Tate is back with a vague plan to get Big Government away from “dictating what Americans ‘should’ get or what is ‘best for them'” when it comes to broadband. Forget setting mediocre targets, like the “4Mbps for all Americans by 2010” goal of the National Broadband Plan. Instead, just give people vouchers for really crappy broadband service and the problem will take care of itself.”
There are about 18,000 black farmers in the United States. Yet, when the Obama administration offered them what amounts to reparations, more than 92,000 black farmers signed up.

It all revolves around a class action lawsuit called Pigford v. Glickman and yet another out of control Democrat giveaway. It’s already cost the American taxpayers $1 billion and Democrats want to toss another $1.2 billion into the money pit.
FOX News Special Report had the deceptive details:
Uh-oh. He’s losing independents. He’s losing seniors. He’s losing Hispanics. And now, in the biggest sign of problems for the President, he’s losing angry, irascible sexual predators.

CBS New York reports:
At a time when painful unemployment numbers continue to bear down on the tattered economy, many are frustrated that the nation’s leader is enjoying another luxurious trip. On CBS’ “The Late Show” Tuesday night, David Letterman took a jab at the president, (Editor’s note: go to the 2:55 mark of the clip) saying: “He’ll have plenty of time for vacations after his one term is up.”
A guy is standing in line to buy a train ticket and he can’t take his eyes off the girl behind the counter, who has huge, perfect boobs…
Do you know the old joke about Freudian slips? It’s one of our favorites:
A guy is standing in line to buy a train ticket and he can’t take his eyes off the girl behind the counter, who has huge, perfect boobs.
Freud said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." But he'd never met Monica Lewinsky.
When he gets to the front of the line, he says, “Give me two pickets to Titsburgh…uhhh…I mean two tickets to Pittsburgh”.
He’s really embarrassed, but the next guy in line laughs and says, “Relax, buddy. We all make Freudian slips like that.”
“Freudian slip?” the first guys says. “What’s a Freudian slip?”
“That’s when you mean to say one thing, but say another,” the second guy says. “Like the other day at breakfast when I meant to say to my wife, ‘Please pass the sugar’, but I accidentally said, ‘You’ve ruined my life, you miserable bitch!'”
The Associated Press reports President Obama’s Freudian slip:
Flying thousands of miles to reap millions of dollars, President Barack Obama is dashing across the country to help his party retain power, essentially offering one familiar argument: Republicans don’t solve problems.
“Don’t give in to fear,” Obama said Monday in his latest ominous vision of a country led by the opposition party. “Let’s reach for hope.”
Obviously, he meant to say, “Let’s reach for your wallet.”

1. If we’re not mistaken, that’s Glenn Beck, not Sarah Palin
2. Sarah Palin spells her name s-a-r-a-h
3. Sarah Palin was a candidate for Vice President, not President.
Other than that, the weekend crew at CNN did a fine job covering Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally. A damn fine job.
No matter how much someone may love Barack Obama, that love pales in comparison to the love he has for himself. He is, as he said, the one he has been waiting for.

Take this week’s radio message to the nation — the one in which he talked about the successful end of combat operations in Iraq.
Oddly enough, he didn’t mention the name George Bush. Not once. He did, on the other hand, say “I” six times in five minutes and twenty-six seconds. But none of them came in a sentence that said, “I was wrong about the surge.”
And now let’s join the Democrats as they bid a fond farewell to majorities in the House and maybe the Senate.
And now let’s join the Democrats as they bid a fond farewell to majorities in the House and maybe the Senate.
Public Policy Polling has the news of the Democrats dwindling hopes in November:
In Florida Obama’s approval is 39% with 55% of voters disapproving of him. 88% of Republicans disapprove while just 73% of Democrats approve and independents go against him by a 52/36 margin. Only 78% of people who voted for him in 2008 like the job he’s doing while 93% who voted against him disapprove.
In Pennsylvania Obama’s approval is 40% with 55% of voters disapproving of him. 85% of Republicans disapprove while just 68% of Democrats approve and independents go against him by a 63/32 margin. Only 78% of people who voted for him in 2008 like the job he’s doing while 93% who voted against him disapprove, identical numbers to Florida on that count.
In Ohio Obama’s approval is 42% with 54% of voters disapproving of him. 94% of Republicans disapprove while only 79% of Democrats approve and independents go against him by a 58/33 margin. Only 76% of people who voted for him in 2008 approve while 91% who voted against him disapprove.
Obviously it’s a long way from 2012 but these swing state numbers for Obama are pretty brutal and underscore why Democrats could lose a whole lot of House seats this year in those states.
In the words of Ella Fitzgerald, “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing.”
When the Democrats lose by historic margins in November, do you think we’ll be bombarded by broadcasts and articles saying, “Democrats must move to the right to survive” like we were told “Republicans must move to the left to survive” after the last election?
We don’t mean to get ahead of ourselves here, but we’re willing to run the risk.

If not, what do you think the media’s message will be?
It’s been a busy week here at IHateTheMedia.com and in all the excitement we may have missed the heartwarming scenes of President Obama greeting his closest living relative at his $50,000 a week beach house in Martha’s Vineyard.
President Obama's beloved Auntie Zeituni. Or James Brown. We're not sure which.

What’s that? Auntie Zeituni hasn’t been invited to Martha’s Vineyard from her home in nearby Boston? The poor old lady must be horribly disappointed, because we hear she bought a new bikini and everything.
Doesn’t the President want his daughters to know their closest living relative? Doesn’t the President want America’s First Lady to spend some quality time with the Obama family’s First Lady? Doesn’t the President want to remind the American people that his favorite auntie is the face of illegal aliens in America?
Why must late night comedians do the job that supposedly legitimate reporters won’t do? Jimmy Kimmel’s ace staff found an old video clip that answers the questions about Obama’s religious beliefs once and for all.

Hey, here’s a question for Chris Matthews. Why are you against people boycotting any company that builds the mosque? Can we assume you’re equally opposed to the leftists who boycott Glenn Beck’s advertisers.
We would have paid big money to see this incident. Unfortunately, there’s no video of this one, just anonymous reports by eyewitnesses at MSNBC.

The New York Post has the feel good story of the week:
Ed Schultz demonstrating how he attempted to commit professional suicide
MSNBC talk show screamer Ed Schultz had a meltdown in the network’s 30 Rock newsroom, shouting at staff, “I’m going to torch this [bleep]ing place.”
The hot-tempered anchor of “The Ed Show” lost it during a phone call in the packed studio and slammed down the phone before exploding.
As astonished MSNBC staff members fell silent, Schultz glared around the room and yelled, “[Bleep]ers!”
A witness told us, “Ed was furious the network was running election-night promos and he wasn’t in them. He’d been arguing on the phone with marketing, then he slammed down the phone and exploded. It was like Mel Gibson had entered the newsroom.”
Fuming Schultz was immediately dragged in for a meeting with NBC News President Steve Capus and MSNBC President Phil Griffin following his Aug. 12 meltdown.
Our source added, “Schultz was told: ‘If you do that again, you are fired.’ He broke down crying.”
Sources say the hothead was pushed over the edge by MSNBC’s catering to bullying fellow anchor Keith Olbermann and its focus on golden girl Rachel Maddow.
Congratulations, Ed. It’s not easy to win the award for being the craziest person at MSNBC, but you’ve done it.
Dodge used a monkey in the to advertise its annual Tent Event. PETA complained, so Dodge re-cut the commercial to address the leftist lunatics’ concerns. And it was funnier than ever.
About two weeks ago, IHateTheMedia.com’s Administrator emailed a funny commercial over to IHTM’s Editor, who promptly ignored it. (For god’s sake, man, the guy sends me 50 emails a day. I can’t pay attention to all of them.)
Now, much to the Editor’s chagrin, he saw the same commercial over at The Big Feed and found out it really was hilarious.
That being said, the Editor would like to thank The Big Feed and apologize to the Administrator.
So enough with the thanks and the apologies. Here’s the story on the commercial: Dodge used a monkey in the to advertise its annual Tent Event. PETA complained, so Dodge re-cut the commercial to address the leftist lunatics’ concerns. Here’s the original version:
The Democrats seem to be getting beyond the denial stage. NBC’s über liberal Chuck Todd looked into the future on Tuesday’s Today show and actually said the words, “Democrats are in deep, deep trouble.”
The Democrats seem to be getting beyond the denial stage. NBC’s über liberal Chuck Todd looked into the future on Tuesday’s Today show and actually said the words, “Democrats are in deep, deep trouble.”
Todd said, “The Tea Party has provided an enthusiasm boost to the Republican Party.” Then he proved just how shaken he was by his own prediction by saying that Democrats still had “six weeks to turn this around” but also said that “if they don’t, they are headed for an historical defeat in November.”
You just need to relax and take a deep breath, Chuck. Your boys still have ten weeks to turn this electoral Armageddon around, not six. That should be plenty of time.
Think how proud you would be to have your child attend Barack Obama Elementary School. Why it’s almost enough to make you pack up and move the family to Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

It’s not the first school named after the president, but it’s the first one right there in the Washington, D.C. area.
If the school reflected real life, its uniforms would be half black, half white. They wouldn’t have a football team, but they would have a golf team. The team name would be the Fighting Muslims. The students wouldn’t have to learn anything, because all the answers would be on the Teleprompter. They wouldn’t need their ABCs, but they would need their MSNBCs. Math classes would only deal in negative numbers.
Every time a president gets down in the polls during his first term, some pundit predicts that he won’t run for a second term. You may remember that Rush Limbaugh made the same prediction about Bill Clinton and it seemed just as reasonable then as it seems now.

Nevertheless, Fox News’ Neil Cavuto makes an interesting argument.

CBS hasn’t yet announced that Katie Couric is leaving the Evening News, but it doesn’t have to. They can let their ratings do the talking.
The network newscast ratings for last week are in and “CBS Evening News with Katie Couric” tied its all-time low in total viewers with an average of 4.89 million tuning in during the five days.
The low was set last June, when ABC also hit its own low. (Ratings records date back to the 1991-’92 season.) Last week, NBC averaged 7.42 million total viewers and ABC averaged 6.51 million.
Erica Hill filled in on Tuesday and Harry Smith was in Wednesday. Couric anchored from New York Monday and from Afghanistan on Thursday and Friday.
Long gone are the days when news anchors went to war zones to improve their ratings. War zones are apparently safer than news rooms on the day the ratings come out.
Turns out a liberal advocacy group got its tits in a wringer because former Senator Alan Simpson accurately described the situation we find ourselves in with Social Security.
When did liberals pass the law that outlawed colorful language?
Turns out a liberal advocacy group got its tits in a wringer because former Senator Alan Simpson accurately described the situation we find ourselves in with Social Security.
CNN has the story of asinine advocacy:
Former Senator Alan Simpson is in trouble for telling the truth
An advocacy group is calling for the ouster of former Sen. Alan Simpson, the co-chairman of President Obama’s bipartisan debt commission, who described Social Security as a “milk cow with 310 million tits!” in an email.
Ashley Carson, executive director of the Older Women’s League, wrote in a blog post in April that Simpson is targeting Social Security to fix the deficit even though it “doesn’t contribute” to the country’s debt problem. She also accused Simpson of “disgusting ageism and sexism” in characterizing those who oppose cuts to benefits as “Gray Panthers” and “Pink Panthers.”
In his email to Carson, which was sent Monday night, Simpson said he is defending Social Security, not trying to undermine it, and referred her to information showing the program’s long-range shortfalls.
He went on: “I’ve made some plenty smart cracks about people on Social Security who milk it to the last degree. You know ’em too. It’s the same with any system in America. We’ve reached a point now where it’s like a milk cow with 310 million tits! Call when you get honest work!”
On Wednesday afternoon, Simpson released a letter to Carson apologizing. “I can see that my remarks have caused you anguish, and that was not my intention,” he wrote.
There’s only one thing worse than the advocacy group being upset by Simpson’s choice of words. And that’s the fact that Simpson chose to apologize.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the 21 century’s answer to Jimmy Carter, along comes this poll from Rasmussen
Keep an eye on her, Barack, keep an eye on her
Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the 21 century’s answer to Jimmy Carter, along comes this poll from Rasmussen:
Forty-eight percent (48%) of U.S. voters now regard President Obama’s political views as extreme. Forty-two percent (42%) place his views in the mainstream, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
By comparison, 51% see the views of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as mainstream. Thirty-five percent (35%) think Clinton’s views are extreme. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided.
There you go, President Obama – your legacy. You’ll go down in history as the first person who ever made someone as liberal as Hillary Clinton look mainstream.

No, that can’t be right. People wanted ObamaCare. People needed ObamaCare. People demanded ObamaCare. Except in New Jersey, apparently, where only two people have signed up for it.
Fox New York has the story:
Just two people in New Jersey will begin receiving coverage Monday under new plans created by federal health care reforms.
NJ Protect plans are available to those who have been without insurance for at least six months and submit evidence of pre-existing health conditions.
The state will receive $141 million in federal subsidies to cover claims that exceed the premiums paid by the beneficiaries.
Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey spokesman Tom Vincz expects more people will enroll in the coming weeks.
He expects more people to enroll? No, he’s praying that people sign up for this fiscal fiasco.
The definition of fiasco is when everyone who signed up in the entire state can join the Fox reporter in the phone booth as he calls in his story.
