Underwhelming is an understatement: Only two people sign up for ObamaCare in New Jersey

The guidos from Jersey Shore didn't sign up for ObamaCare

No, that can’t be right. People wanted ObamaCare. People needed ObamaCare. People demanded ObamaCare. Except in New Jersey, apparently, where only two people have signed up for it.

Fox New York has the story:

Just two people in New Jersey will begin receiving coverage Monday under new plans created by federal health care reforms.

NJ Protect plans are available to those who have been without insurance for at least six months and submit evidence of pre-existing health conditions.

The state will receive $141 million in federal subsidies to cover claims that exceed the premiums paid by the beneficiaries.

Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey spokesman Tom Vincz expects more people will enroll in the coming weeks.

He expects more people to enroll? No, he’s praying that people sign up for this fiscal fiasco.

The definition of fiasco is when everyone who signed up in the entire state can join the Fox reporter in the phone booth as he calls in his story.

Must have been Bruce Springsteen (http://www.nj.com/ledgerlive/index.ssf/2009/10/the_politics_of_bruce_springst.html) and Brooke Sheilds.

I can follow the reasoning of Conservatives enjoying the art a libtard has created… I myself enjoyed the music of several lefty groups such as The Grateful Dead… but I was never a dirty, rotten, stinky, nasty, hippie-dippie granola eater… I just liked the tunes. I didn’t buy into the tie-dye wearing, lentil eating, patchouli soaked, VW micro-bus driving, druggie life style or the infantile “peace & love, It’s all good man.” philosophy.

For that matter, I like a lot of Sting’s music, but as far as his politics go… he’s a Fruit Loop.

I guess what I’m saying is Conservatives have enough common sense to enjoy art for the sake of art and disregard the offensive philosophy of the artist, whereas only libtards would buy into the whole “media” package lock stock and barrel and deify the art & artist.

Have the “plantation” people been heard from yet, or are they not eligible?

From what I have read about Jersey Shore, the producers hand out valtrex and antibiotics like candy-so all of the cast of that show should sign up-and sign up fast-between that, the tanning, and the steroids-they will all be dead by 45.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing…
