Community organizers pray to Obama.
Not for Obama, but to Obama.

by editor on September 29, 2009

“Hear our cry, Obama! Deliver us, Obama.” Pardon the expression, but good lord almighty.

Now community organizers are praying to Obama. The Gamaliel Foundation goes way back with Barack Obama and helped organize his early work in Chicago’s poor neighborhoods.

Suddenly, the video clips of school kids singing the President’s praises seem almost innocent by comparison.

Talk about false idols.

I had to use every ounce of concentration that I had not to be made literally ill by this obscene idiocy. This isn’t just a step to far; praying to Barry as if he’s some kind of anointed saint is just blasphemous….and I’m agnostic for crying out loud. And I don’t care how much they kick and scream and chant otherwise, but “free health care” isn’t a friggin’ human right anymore than buying a home outside of ones means is a human right. I can’t even come up with a derogatory word to call these people. I mean, OK, I can come up with tons of words to call them, but I can’t find one that feels strong enough; ignorant just doesn’t cut it.

@1:54 MLK Jr wasn’t a prophet. Where did THAT ONE come from? O.o?

September 29, 2009 12:40 pm

somebody should tell them that MLK Jr. was a Republican…

This is not surprising. A belief in God requires faith, but when faith is in Government, you will “pray” to anybody. Very sad.

i made it to about 20 seconds, then i had to stop

how damn boring, ill take your words that its pathetic in every way

Sadly, this thing seems to be a propaganda piece in it’s entirety; nothing actually happens until about the 1:30 mark. I would advise you to watch….but then again, it’s so maddening that I hesitate to advise anyone to watch it. Ut oh….I seem to be talking out of both sides of my mouth here. Is this what it feels like… be a liberal?

I have been sitting here trying to think of something witty or insightful to say and I guess I am speechless. It is beyond understanding how adults can be so dependent and easily duped by this charlatan and his puppeteers. Have they all consumed that much of his kool aid?

Someone needs to tell those heathens that when the saints go marching home, they are not going to be part of that march.

It seems so unbelievable, I watched it at the original site, and comments on that site say that they are not saying that, it is just all jumbled up, with so many praising (obama,) they are really praising God, I have tried to listen to it a few times closely to see for myself, but it makes me ill, Can anyone really tell exactly what it all says, Id love to see a text of it.

Unless God changed his name, they were praising Obama

To some of them, Obama is God…
Really sad that people do not want to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps and make something of themselves anymore.
Now everyone wants someone to come along and GIVE them the American Dream.
I am not rich by any stretch of the imagination but I absolutely refuse to compromise my faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior so I can have healthcare coverage.

I’ve actually watched it a couple of times now, and they are clearly saying in unison, “Hear our cry, Obama. Deliver us, Obama” in response to the rhetoric about health care that is being spewed. That’s a typical leftist response when you catch them doing something that looks bad/questionable though; deny it ever happened despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. I give them ’till tomorrow before they pull an ACORN and say that it’s clear that the video has been doctored.

October 15, 2009 7:20 am

I agree…
Give ACORN enough room and they will say that “Obama” sounds just like “Oh God”…

September 29, 2009 7:02 pm

I am waiting for some left wing lunatic to post the fact that they never prayed to Bush because he wasn’t cool enough

September 29, 2009 7:34 pm

OMG!!!!!! This is disgusting!

September 30, 2009 7:59 pm

They were praying to God. ‘Hear our cry oh God,’ ‘Deliver us oh God,’

Even Brietbart has walked this one back.

I’m pretty sure they are saying O God. Even the nuttiest fellow traveler probably isn’t legitimately PRAYING to Obama, they seem to skew agnostic for the most part anyways. This seems like a snow job that isn’t even necessary. No need to grasp at straws on this guy; they’ve deified this mediocre charlatan enough in every other way already. Don’t fall victim to cognitive dissonance; the policies will fail, and he’ll just be voted out in ’12 with little fanfare. Grasping at stuff that realistically isn’t there just gives the left what they want, ammo to create straw men and sneak legislation through.

Community Organizer needed in Chicago to stop all the brothers from killing each other…….

October 15, 2009 7:15 am

Where is the ACLU? Isn’t there supposed to be a separation of church and state that they complain about all the time? Somebody needs to sue them to stop this “Obamanation”…
BTW, they are NOT saying “Hear our cry, oh God.” They are NOT saying “Deliver us, oh God”. It is as plain as day as to what they are saying.
What is the saying about false prophets in the Bible? I think we have a winner…
