That’s all, folks: MSNBC, CNN beaten by Cartoon Network in ratings

by editor on March 24, 2010

This report from may explain why Keith Olbermann seems to be doing a Yosemite Sam impression every night.

“In total Viewers, Fox News was the #2 ranked cable network last week in primetime, averaging 233,000 viewers behind USA. MSNBC was #26, CNN was #32, and HLN was #37.”

The Cartoon Network was #13, despite the fact that MSNBC and CNN’s programming is much funnier.

Looks like the end of the line for the rivals of Fox News. Play Taps. Say sayonara. Kiss ’em goodbye. Or in the immortal words of Porky Pig, “Th-th-th–th-th-that’s all, folks.”

Why not? The Cartoon Network has better-informed commentary and, for the WW2 cartoons, is actually on America’s side in a war.
