Stimulus stupidity: kiss your hard-earned tax dollars goodbye

by editor on November 9, 2009

CNBC looks at ten stupid projects funded by the Obama administration’s $787 billion stimulus bill.

We can’t decide if this is hilarious or depressing. Possibly both.

Although internet websites we backlink to beneath are considerably not connected to ours, we really feel they’re essentially really worth a go by, so have a look.

Hey! Someone in my Myspace group shared this website with us so I came to take a look. I’m definitely enjoying the information. I’m bookmarking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Fantastic blog and terrific design and style.|

Funny how so many ex-government employees set up non-profit organizations to profit off the government stimulus long before Bush was even out of office. Wonder how they knew? This RAT group will do nothing more than protect their homies. Disgusting.

I gotta agree with Dan. Every citation was prefaced with a disclaimer that the information was from Republicans. WTF? Was the information correct, or wasn’t it? All of it sounded like the usual pork-barrel nonsense we’re used to. But she made it sound like the Republicans just made the story up.

Why doesn’t CNBC just do the damned legwork and find out what the money was spent on? What’s next? I’m gonna turn on The Weather Channel and hear “Republicans have reported a tornado on the ground in Wichita! So if you’re a Republican, take shelter. If you’re a Democrat, it’s great day to do some lawn work.”

I love it. CNBC is so bad at getting real news and real facts that they have to go to the “Senate Republican Communications Center” to get the correct information. Then the reporter tells the audience several time that the facts are from the “SRCC” as though it is not a reliable source. So if she thinks that they are not reliable, why is she using them? Why don’t they go out and do their own investigation? I’m surprised that they even carried the story.

Good catch. I hadn’t even thought of that.
