Did anyone happen to notice the moment when Gwyneth Paltrow went from being cute as a button to being nuttier than a fruitcake?

The out-of-touch leftist actress recently got together with her gal pal Cameron Diaz to tell the little people how to go green.

People magazine reports: “For Gwyneth, going green doesn’t mean giving up her designer duds. The actress recommends trying out Stella McCartney’s new Eco Collection, which ranges from $435 to $1535 and is made from 100% organic cotton and recycled materials, available at Stella McCartney stores…Cameron’s stylish picks include green footwear including Olsen Haus vegan shoes available at camillaboutique.com. ‘Olsen Haus shoes are vegan and natural linen; they are fun and sexy with a pair of skinny jeans,’ says Cameron.”

Got that? $1535 for some designer duds made out of recycled materials. Or if you’re in a bargain hunting mood, as little as $175 for a pair of shoes.

You know what would be really good for the environment, Gwyneth? Wear some of that crap more than once.

Now that HAS to be false advertising. “Olsen Haus shoes are vegan and natural linen”. I would definitely buy a pair for my girlfriend if those shoes were made from real vegans. But they’re not. *sigh* Reality is so disappointing.

Don’t know – are those heels vegan? And in pictured outfit, where oh where does one keep the carbon trading card?

You are right, she is a nut, but then you are what you eat!

Wouldn’t naked be the greenest thing to do?

No, that would be the pinkest thing to do.

Hey, how can a shoe be a vegan anyway? A shoe does not eat, let alone not eat meat!
