NPR reporter Nina Totenberg used an appearance on “Inside Washington” to apologize for attending (gasp) ”a Christmas party.”
“Well, these agencies,” she said, “including the Defense Department, don‘t know how much money they’ve got and for what. And I was at – forgive the expression – a Christmas party at the Department of Justice and people actually were really worried about this (their budgets).”
By the way, is it just us or is Mark Shields beginning to look exactly like Jabba the Hutt?
