Senator Debbie Stabenow and husband Thomas Athans want to kill your choices in Talk Radio
When you’re listening to someone from Washington, DC, what they don’t say is often more important than what they do say.
For example, Democrat Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow says she wants to bring back the Fairness Doctrine. What she doesn’t say is that her husband, Thomas Athans, is the Executive VP of floundering Air America.
“Whether it’s called the Fairness Standard, whether it’s called something else,” she told Bill Press, “I absolutely think it’s time to be bringing accountability to the airwaves.”
When asked if she would push for hearings in the Senate this year, Stabenow said, “I have already had some discussions with colleagues. And, you know, I feel like that’s gonna happen. Yep.”
“A law that would force people to listen to me,” Press thought to himself. “That sure seems a lot easier than having talent.”

Well, well, well…sounds like husband Thomas Athans could have also been a perfect choice for nomination to the Obama Cabinet as well–being he’s got some troubles, baby. Prostitution.
In the story Alycia Martin Causes Heartache To Senator it is reported that “”Mr. Athans informed officers that he had just met a female at the Residence Inn, where he paid $150 for sex.” The girl was Alycia Martin.”

Read it. Scumbags everywhere.
I know accountability is one of those words we’re supposed to slavishly agree with but what it means in this context is that free speech should have a price. That’s not free!
But that’s the point. Once it’s not free, she can get a piece of the action.
I wonder what Stabenow would think if the government forced the likes of MSNBC, CNN, the Washington Post, the LA Times, and NY Times to give equal space to conservative perspectives in interests of “fairness.” Or how about forcing public schools to give “equal time” to conservative perspectives of American history. Maybe school kids could take a couple weeks to honor the birthday of Ronald Reagan and celebrate his greatness.
The very idea of regulating political speech should make the blood boil of all liberty-loving Americans, regardless of political party.
How about Sentator Stabenow’s accountability and transparency? Bill Press used to be on a local station here in L.A. I’m SO glad he’s gone. What a pontificating windbag.
People, this is not going away. They are trying to destroy this country.
