Shock of the week: Time defends Fox News

megyn-kelly-fox-news
Megyn Kelly really has nothing to do with this story, but we like looking at pictures of her

An internal Fox memo told its anchors to stop using the phrase “public option” when discussing ObamaCare and to begin using the phrase “government option.” Media Matters got its hands on that memo and was shocked – shocked, we tell you – by that supposedly blatant manipulation of the truth.

Hard as this may be to believe, Time magazine – liberal Time magazine – offered up this defense of Fox:

Here’s what Kurtz and Media Matters fail to note: Most Americans did not understand what the “public option” was. The term, in fact, seemed almost intentionally non-descriptive. Scores of journalists asked me during the health care debate to explain to them what the public option was – and these were folks interested in the news and paying attention to the issue.

The public option would have been a government-run insurance plan some Americans could have purchased. It would have been supported by premiums with no government subsidization and would be been purely voluntary. Like Medicare, the reimbursements paid by the public option would have been set by the government. Also like Medicare, the plan would not have needed to turn a profit, making it cost less than private insurance. It would have therefore provided tough competition for private insurers and pushed down premiums throughout the marketplace.

There’s a reason they call themselves Media Matters and not Truth Matters.

There was an unfortunate moment the other day on San Diego Living, a TV show on San Diego’s Channel 6. A very unfortunate moment, indeed. A moment that Renée Kohn, the show’s co-host, undoubtedly wishes she could take back.

But this is a YouTube world, Renée, and your moment of infamy will live forever.

Let’s just say that Renée will have no shortage of invitations to Christmas dinner this year.

You know Ed Schultz and Al Sharpton have no sense of decency. Now they prove they have no sense of humor.

Rush Limbaugh made a joke. A pretty funny joke. The set up is that the media always positions any criticism of President Obama as racist. So when Democrats criticized his tax compromise, Rush turned the tables and said they must be racists, too.

Rush Limbaugh made a joke. A pretty funny joke. The set up is that the media always positions any criticism of President Obama as racist. So when Democrats criticized his tax compromise, Rush turned the tables and said they must be racists, too.

Here are Rush’s exact words:

Rush: Man, oh, man, oh, man, ladies and gentlemen. The left, what a bunch of racists. I mean they’re all over MSNBC. They are all over the New York Times, the Washington Post. I have never seen such a collection of racists, all these liberals criticizing Obama on this compromise on the tax bill. Well, every bit of criticism of Obama’s always been said to be racist, hasn’t it?

Proving that he’s just as dense as his critics claim, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz didn’t get the joke. Neither did his guest, the esteemed Charlatan Al Sharpton.

Duh.

The following very serious, very outraged discussion ensued.

Putin slams West over treatment of Julian Assange. No one slams Putin for fear he’ll have them killed.

We hate to admit it, but we’ve come to like Vladimir Putin in a weird sort of way. He hunts, he drives race-cars, he competes in judo tournaments and he doesn’t wear dorky helmets on bicycle rides, throw like a girl or frolic about the White House Lawn with a plastic light-saber.

We hate to admit it, but we’ve come to like Vladimir Putin in a weird sort of way. He hunts, he drives race-cars, he competes in judo tournaments and he doesn’t – like some world leaders we could mention – wear dorky helmets on bicycle rides, throw like a girl or frolic about the White House Lawn with a plastic light-saber.

obama-light-sabre
Vladimir Putin thinks he's soooo macho, but can he handle a light sabre as deftly our President?

But then we are reminded of his authoritarian side and are brought back to reality.

We can credit ABC News with this latest intervention:

Assange’s arrest in London earlier this week indicated that the West isn’t as democratic as it thinks it is, Putin suggested.

“If there is democracy, it must be a full one. Why did they jail Mr. Assange? Is that democracy?” Putin said at a news conference Thursday. “You know what our villagers say: while someone’s cow is mooing, yours better be silent.” The Russian expression is loosely equivalent to the pot calling the kettle black.

Putin would do well to remember there are worse things than a trial by a jury. Like, for example, a cup of tea fortified with a shot of Polonium 210. That’s how notorious Russian dissident Alexander Litvinenko met his untimely end. With a cup of Polonim 210-spiked tea that might very well have been brewed in a pot or a kettle. We don’t know if Putin recalls the specific color of these items.

Sadly this irony was lost on ABC News.

Top 12 most mournful HuffPo comments about Obama’s tax rate compromise

There is nothing funnier than reader comments in the Huffington Post when things go poorly for progressives. Absolutely nothing. The wailing, the moaning, the gnashing of teeth is just classic.

President Obama’s tax compromise with the Republicans proves to be comedy gold once again.

1. lidin
Obama should go find his cojones and take a firm stand one way or the other and stick with it. For all his faults Bush had big brass ones and didn’t flinch(although he was wrong most of the time) Obama needs some of that confidence and conviction.

sad-clown
The clowns on the left are sad, very sad. Except for the ones who are mad, very mad.

2. jeanrenoir
Obama has made Carter look like FDR.

3. mag68
Sadly enough, the man has negatively defined himself utterly and thoroughly. The Democratic party had better allow an open primary in 2011 or it’s President Romney…

4. mag68
I have come to the conclusion that he is a republican plant. I honestly believe the other side helped place him as a continuation of Bush Chaney

5. Monrocsol
Hillary would have been better, but no, we had to go with “the dream” and now it is a nightmare.

6. toldyeso
he has to do the right thing and announce – for the good of the party and the nation – that he wont run again

7. Avere Fede
Clearly, we were all victims of one of history’s all time frauds. I personally was very much aware of many of his shortcomings, but I truly believed he was up for the challenge. What a stunner to realize just how worthless a Harvard education truly is when combined with lack of conviction, and an overabundance of arrogance.

8. SirSlappy
Captain Passive tripped on his own cape. We must get him to step down without a second term, to void the slot for someone with a spine. He’s a disaster.

9. jacobnyc
How has Obama done anything to suggest that he was a better choice than Hillary? I’d love to know. Obama is a wimp, not a fighter; he’s a orator, not a leader.

10. Massachusetts Patriot
Obama’s not just a lame duck, figuratively speaking, he’s a “dead” duck, case closed. The man’s lack of loyalty to his campaign promises and the base that helped elect him means that he will garner very tepid support from the left in 2012.

11. grod
President Zero has hurt the progressive cause more than I would have thought possible.

12. Salty too
He is a comunity organizer/ junior senator, and is in way ,way ,way over his head.

Socialist cannibalism: Lawrence O’Donnell chews up Congressman Alan Grayson

MSNBC’s self-avowed socialist Lawrence O’Donnell is beginning to sound intelligent. At least in comparison to walking dead Congressman Alan Grayson.

MSNBC’s self-avowed socialist Lawrence O’Donnell is beginning to sound intelligent. At least in comparison to walking dead Congressman Alan Grayson.

O’Donnell, Robert Greenstein of the leftist Center on Budget and Policy Priorities think tank and Ezra Klein of the Washington Post, triple tag-teamed Grayson and tried (emphasis on the word tried) to show him the error of his ways on President Obama’s compromise with Republicans on the extension of the Bush tax cuts.

O’Donnell channeled the voters in Grayson’s district and erupted in anger at the Congressman’s ignorance. In fact, O’Donnell got so pissed that he called Grayson a “dolt” and cruelly pointed out that the recently de-elected Congressman will be out of a work in January.

God, Grayson’s an ass. He actually tries to calm the situation down by saying, “Oh, please, let’s not insult each other with that kind of language. This is supposed to be the intelligent network.”

Has anyone ever seen Grayson’s wife? The poor woman must be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

When crossbows are outlawed, only outlaws will have crossbows

Liberal legislators across the fruited plain looked at this Canadian case and immediately began drafting anti-crossbow legislation, saying, “The Founding Fathers never anticipated these weapons of mass destruction.”

This story has potential for the Second Amendment to run right smack dab into the middle of the fourteenth century. The Associated Press has the details:

A Canadian man was charged with first-degree murder Friday for fatally shooting his father in the back with a crossbow in a Toronto library as shocked mothers and children watched.

Forsooth, verily, Zhou Fang hath dispatcheth his father

Zhou Fang, 24, appeared in court to face the murder charge a day after Si Cheng, 52, was killed in the library about an hour after a nearby school let out for the day. The judge ordered that Fang be held without bail.

Toronto police Const. Tony Vella said Cheng was pronounced dead at the scene and Fang was arrested later Thursday in a Toronto suburb.

“The use of a crossbow is definitely a unique case in Toronto,” said Vella. “You hear about guns, you hear about knives being used, but you definitely don’t hear about a crossbow.”

French surrender again, this time to snow

Global warming is piling up in Paris as one of the biggest early December blizzards in decades sweeps across Europe. And as if re-enacting one of the country’s many humiliating military defeats, French bureaucrats immediately ran up the white flag.

Global warming is piling up in Paris as one of the biggest early December blizzards in decades sweeps across Europe. And as if re-enacting one of the country’s many humiliating military defeats, French bureaucrats immediately ran up the white flag.

paris-snow-eiffel-tower
Paris, the City of Lights, the City of Heavy Snowfall

The BBC is in the know on the snow:

Heavy snow in Paris brought buses to a halt on Wednesday, suspended flights at Charles de Gaulle airport and prompted the closure of the Eiffel Tower.

Motorways in the Paris region were described as impassable as snow that had already hit other areas of France spread to the capital.

… The Meteo France service reported that one of its Paris weather stations had recorded 11cm (4.5in) of snow. The French capital has not seen a larger one-day snowfall since 1987.

Although the Paris Metro and rail network were operating normally on Wednesday, Charles de Gaulle airport closed for part of the afternoon until workers were able to clear the runways of snow.

The operators of the Eiffel Tower decided to close the monument as salt could not be used to tackle the snow and ice because of possible damage to the iron structure.

The national centre for traffic information described secondary routes in the Paris region as “catastrophic”. By mid-afternoon, the bus operator RATP declared that not a single bus was running.

In fact, the only thing that’s still running in Paris is the people. And they’re running away from the global warming scam just as fast as they can.

Rock star apologizes for sleeping with 3000 groupies, newspaper apologizes for saying it was only 1000

Rock group Simply Red’s lead singer Mick Hucknall is now apologizing to the three thousand women he slept with over a three-year period.

Remember the rock group Simply Red? Yeah, the cheesy 80s band with the singularly unattractive, red-headed lead singer.

Well, Mick Hucknall, that lead singer, is now apologizing to the three thousand women he slept with over a three-year period.

Yeah, sure, Mick. Whatever you say.

The Guardian UK has the story:

“A red-headed man,” Mick Hucknall modestly acknowledges, “is not generally considered to be a sexual icon,” although that did not stop the singer from using his own curly red locks to remarkable seductive effect at the height of his fame in the mid- 80s, when he estimates he slept with more than 3,000 women in three years.

Today, however, pop’s unlikeliest Lothario has offered a startling apology, describing his behaviour as an addiction. “I regret the philandering,” he says in an interview for this newspaper’s film and music section. “In fact, can I issue a public apology through the Guardian? They know who they are, and I’m truly sorry.”

Now first of all, we consider this to be right up there with Wilt Chamberlain claiming to have slept with 20,000 women. But at least Chamberlain’s claim was a bit more believable because was an athlete and his claim was spread over a period of decades.

But we love the fact that the Guardian UK added this correction at the bottom of the story:

This article was amended on 3 December 2010. Owing to an editing error, the original headline read: Mick Hucknall apologies to 1,000 women he slept with. This, and the related story text, has been corrected.

Three thousand? One thousand? It really doesn’t matter. If your music had been half as creative as this story, Mick, you’d still be a star.

Actor Liam Neeson invites fatwa, compares Mohammed to an animal

liam neeson dawn treader
Fatwa! Liam Neeson has compared Mohammed to an animal that licks its own...well...you know what cats do.

The Telegraph UK has the details of Neeson’s death wish:

The actor who voices the lion in the film adaptations of the books has angered some fans of the stories, who claim he is distorting Lewis’s intentions to be “politically correct”…

Lewis was clear that the Aslan was based on Christ, and once wrote of the character: “He is an invention giving an imaginary answer to the question: “What might Christ become like if there really were a world like Narnia?”.”
In the climax of the first book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Aslan sacrifices his life to save Narnia, before rising from the dead, a plot which is widely believed to represent the crucifixion and the resurrection.

But ahead of the release of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the third Narnia book to be made into a film, next week, Neeson said: “Aslan symbolises a Christlike figure, but he also symbolises for me Mohammed, Buddha and all the great spiritual leaders and prophets over the centuries…”

Liam Neeson just compared Mohammed to a filthy animal.

Congratulations, Liam. You may be the first person nominated for an Academy Award and a fatwa in the same year.

Uh-oh. Another global warming prediction has run headlong into reality.

LOL! “Snow is starting to disappear from our lives. Sledges, snowmen, snowballs and the excitement of waking to find that the stuff has settled outside are all a rapidly diminishing part of Britain’s culture.”

Global warming was a pretty good scam until its perpetrators’ short term predictions ran smack dab into reality. Like this one made in 2000 regarding Great Britain’s snowless future:

london-global-warming
This is what London was supposed to look like according to global warming predictions.

Britain’s winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives. Sledges, snowmen, snowballs and the excitement of waking to find that the stuff has settled outside are all a rapidly diminishing part of Britain’s culture, as warmer winters – which scientists are attributing to global climate change – produce not only fewer white Christmases, but fewer white Januaries and Februaries…

According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event”.

“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” he said.

snow-in-the-uk
The Brits may be shoveling snow, but Al Gore is still shoveling bullshit

Like we said, that prediction of a balmy British future has crashed headlong into the cold, hard facts. Emphasis on cold. We’re still a couple weeks away from winter and Britain is completely covered with snow. Repeat, completely covered.

More than 40cm (16in) of snow fell in some parts of Scotland and up to 40cm blanketed parts of North-east England, but the coldest of the weather so far was felt in Wales. In Llysdinam, Powys, the temperature sank to -18C, the coldest on record for Wales in November and far below the previous low of -11.2 recorded in 1921. Northern Ireland also suffered its coldest November night ever, with -9.5 at Lough Fea. The previous record was -9C in 1978, the Met Office in London said.

Would someone please pass the news to the delegates at the UN Global Warming Conference in Cancun? They may want to reschedule their flights back into Europe.

barack-obama-male-leadership
The Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy, home of the Michelle Obama Cafeteria & Salad Bar

You can learn the details from the Dallas Independent School District:

Dallas ISD’s newest magnet school-Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy at B.F. Darrell-will open to students in grades six through nine in August 2011. Two years in the planning, the school will offer a small, focused learning environment where young men are prepared for leadership roles in school, the community, and society.

“We’ve experienced the value of single gender education through the Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School, which has consistently been one of Dallas ISD’s top performing schools since opening in 2004,” Superintendent of Schools Michael Hinojosa said. “We have the same expectations for the all-male leadership academy.”

Curriculum

The curriculum at Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy at B.F. Darrell will include pre-AP and AP classes, foreign languages, robotics, accelerated math and science, journalism, writing, and public speaking. The young men will be required to complete a technology-based project and a community service project each year.

The Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy? It’s not only discriminatory, it’s contradictory. Barack Obama has proven that he knows nothing about leadership and very little about being a man.

But the school is unique. The foreign language classes will teach students how to bow in seven different languages. Al Gore will guest lecture about robotics. The accelerated math classes will teach students how to count to infinity or the national debt – whichever comes first. The journalism classes will focus teach the students how to ask slanted questions. And the public speaking classes will feature the nation’s only public school Teleprompter.

Other than that, it’s just like any other public school.

An incredible event occurred at the White House on Friday. President Obama meekly excused himself from his own press briefing and former President Clinton took over, fielding questions for more than half an hour.

Had some emergency caused President Obama to rush away? Had the red phone rung? Was North Korea bombing South Korea again? Had Iran launched an attack on Israel?

No. None of those things. He left because he was late for a party and didn’t want to piss off the First Lady.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dODwyYpDmqY

As the Telegraph UK describes the exceedingly odd situation:

But after a few opening comments, Mr Obama made clear he had to leave and excused himself, saying that his wife, Michelle, expected his presence at one of the many parties that presidents host during the month of December.

“I’ve been keeping the First Lady waiting,” he said.

Mr Clinton, who clearly had some time on his hands, responded: “I don’t want to make her mad. Please go.”

“And don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way you, you miserable excuse for a President,” he thought to himself.

Every time we think this President can’t make himself look any weaker, he surprises us. We’d say man up, but that seems unlikely with this President.

mary-landrieu
Moral corruption authority Mary Landrieu criticizes President Obama’s moral corruption

The Huffington Post reports:

Extending the tax cuts for those making more than a million dollars a year is borderline immoral, Landrieu charged. “I’m going to argue forcefully for the nonsensicalness and the almost, you know, moral corruptness of that particular policy,” said Landrieu, walking into a meeting with Vice President Joe Biden and Senate Democrats. “This is beyond politics. This is about justice and doing what’s right.”

She also knows a thing or two, apparently, about making up new words. Nonsensicalness? But Landrieu’s neologism was just a warm-up. She continued:

… “It’s what I’m calling the Obama-McConnell plan. We’re going to borrow $46 billion from the poor, from the middle class, from businesses of all sizes basically to give a tax cut to families in America today, that despite the recession, are making over a million dollars. I mean, this is unprecedented. Unprecedented. I want to repeat that,” she said. Landrieu added, however, that she had yet to make a decision on the final package.

Please take note that Landrieu is upset because this is unprecedented. In the early months of the Obama administration, Democrats crowed with pride that every single action the President took was unprecedented. Obama signs an executive order? Unprecedented. Obama appoints someone to office? Unprecedented. Obama eats breakfast? Unprecedented.

The fact that Democrats now think his moral corruption is unprecedented is, well, unprecedented.

Here’s a clip from an old Star Trek episode that was absolutely prescient. It featured a character named Landru who sounds almost as liberal as his homophonic doppelgänger Mary Landrieu.

Nomani, a Muslim, says profiling should be at the heart of our security efforts. It makes much more sense, she says, to look for realistic threats and to allocate our resources accordingly. She notes that profiling works well in other security efforts – in the war on drugs, for example, Colombians are watched far more closely than, say, Belgians.

Asra, honey, how long have you been in this country? Have you ever watched CNN? Have you ever read the Daily Beast?

rights-for-nature
Who will defend the rights of the flower when it is violated by the bee? Global Exchange, that's who.

Sign On San Diego has the strange story:

In an effort to ban everything from drilling oil to incinerating garbage, about a dozen communities across the country have adopted ordinances that give nature legal standing and water down the rights of businesses.

The long-debated philosophy could face court challenges. But it has gained traction among those who believe the environment needs greater protection, even while critics ridicule the thought of arming bugs with legal rights against foes such as lawn mowers.

Long debated? Debated by whom? Certainly not by anyone rational.

“What if nature had rights?” said Shannon Biggs, with Global Exchange. “What if the Amazon could sue an oil company for environmental damage?”

You’re not thinking big enough, Shannon. Why stop with nature suing man? The logical extension of giving rights to nature is that one part of nature will turn around and sue another. Next thing you know we’ll have flowers suing bees for stealing their pollen. We’ll have trees suing dogs for peeing on them. And eventually the tables will be turned and we’ll end up with a case in which a man sues a dog for humping his leg. The man will claim sexual assault and the dog’s defense will be, “He never said no, he just said ‘down boy.'” The world is spiraling out of control, damn it.

…Proponents, however, say they recognize their burgeoning movement may take some time to get results. Looking past the bug jokes and mocking poems, Price and others see their struggle to give nature legal standing as comparable to another historic effort that was years in the making.

“It took hundreds of challenges,” he said, “before racial segregation was overturned as the law of the land.”

No, Shannon, the plight of plants is even worse than racism. Just last night we ate some broccoli. That’s cannibalism, damn it.

Time magazine faces up to reality: The Democrat Party is in the middle of a nervous breakdown

Mark Halperin: “Is it hyperbolic to say the Democratic Party is in the midst of a nervous breakdown? I have been covering national politics since 1988, and I don’t remember a situation quite like this.”

mark halperin
Mark Halperin may have a nervous breakdown watching the Democrat Party's nervous breakdown

Is it hyperbolic to say the Democratic Party is in the midst of a nervous breakdown? I have been covering national politics since 1988, and I don’t remember a situation quite like this. The signs of a crack-up are everywhere. Democrats still think they can somehow win a news cycle by demonizing John Boehner. Chuck Schumer goes on the Senate floor and suggests Democrats are getting the same political mileage out of “millionaires tax” that Republicans have gotten over the years from using “death tax.” Politico has a story with blind quotes from Hill Democrats who are furious that the White House isn’t using some sort of mythical leverage over Republicans to extract concessions in exchange for extending all the Bush tax cuts — including continuing to try to trade for DADT and the Dream Act (rather than things dealing with jobs). Two members in good standing of the Professional Left — moveon and the PCCC — are spending its members’ money on TV ads demanding that the president exercise this same mythical leverage to stand up to the GOP. Democrats are understandably — and largely justified in being — frustrated that they lost an election based on Republicans defending tax cuts for the wealthy that are only expiring because of a budget gimmick championed by George Bush — and based on criticism of their apparent lack of concern over the deficit, by a party that has shown no past or current seriousness about deficit reduction and the hard choices involved. Losing those political fights was as inexplicable as it was hard for the Democrats. Maybe that’s why Thursday seemed to have donkeys melting down all over the place.

We’re not sure it’s a nervous breakdown. Einstein said, “The definiton of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

Based on that, you may need a different diagnosis, Dr. Halperin.

Moore visited the Pritikin Longevity Center and Spa in mid-November. The resort’s campus features “650 acres of lush tropical gardens, fountains, water features and other amenities,” its website boasts.

Moore has visited Pritikin in past years and said he once lost 30 pounds by employing the center’s methods of eating “heavy foods.”

“I eat at least 35 grams of fiber every day. Eat foods that are heavy in weight but low in calories. I got this idea from Roger Ebert; he was the one who turned me on to the Pritikin Longevity Center in Florida. (Eating heavy foods) naturally creates the same thing as gastric bypass; it gives you a full feeling so you don’t want any more food,” Moore told the Chicago Tribune in 2007.

He lost 30 pounds once?

Good lord, Michael, you’re so fat that your tongue weighs 30 pounds. Your wattle weights 30 pounds. Your man boobs weigh 30 pounds. Each. If you ever got up off your fat ass you could lose 30 pounds just sweating. You should lose 30 pounds from the  friction caused by your thighs rubbing together. And you’re dumb enough to tell people that you once lost 30 pounds?

No matter how much weight you lose, Michael, you’ll still be a fathead.

The global warming scam is on life support. And so is Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Propaganda Protection.

Politico.com has the details:

"Do not burneth me at the stake," Saint Albert of Nashville said, "for that would releaseth too much carbon into the atmosphere."

One of Al Gore’s campaigns to save the planet has scaled back its field operations since climate legislation failed earlier this year in Congress.

The Alliance for Climate Protection was operating in about 25 states at its peak, including Florida, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
But the group now has field offices in just seven states.

“We’ve always believed it’s a mobile and nimble operation,” said Sean Sarah, the non-profit group’s spokesman. “We move to areas where it’s most effective. Of course the situation in Congress has changed. So our strategies and tactics have changed along with it.”

The organization’s new strategy is simple: Survive long enough to protect the boss’ investments in global warming nonsense.

After all, the future of the world may not hang in the balance, but the future of Gore’s fortune does.

CEO of ACORN says, “Glenn Beck is my boyfriend and he’s going to have sex with my corpse.”

Consider this entire interview convincing evidence that Bertha Lewis, the former CEO of ACORN, is insane. She thinks Glenn Beck is into necrophilia. Metaphorically, we hope.

Consider this entire interview convincing evidence that Bertha Lewis, the former CEO of ACORN, is insane. She thinks Glenn Beck is into necrophilia. Metaphorically, we hope.

Discussing the death of ACORN, she said, “Now we’ve become political necrophiliacs. Not only did we kill this organization, but we’re going to dig ‘em up and we’re going to have all kinds of congress with the corpse. Over and over again. Political necrophiliacs like Beck, like Murdoch, like Fox, like Limbaugh, like Mr. Breitbart … My boyfriend, Glenn Beck, who seems to be obsessed with me … if he wants a date he should just ask.”

Did she mean congress or Congress? If she meant “congress” then she’s talking about necrophilia. But if she meant Congress, then we’re so screwed that we’ll all wish we were dead.

Sex with Lewis’ corpse may just be preferable to sex with a living Lewis. At least she wouldn’t talk.
