Lara Logan displays her weapons of mass seduction

That sound you hear is Edward R. Murrow turning over in his grave. Even the left wing Huffington Post is amazed by this admission on the part of CBS:

CBS News’ #2 exec made a strange confession to Broadcasting & Cable magazine: the network isn’t covering Afghanistan as much as it used to because war correspondent Lara Logan is out on maternity leave.

“I would think that the biggest factor in how much less we’ve had on the air really has to do with Lara Logan’s pregnancy than it does with anything else,” CBS News Executive VP Paul Friedman said.

Friedman’s comments appeared in an article titled “The War You’re Not Watching,” which focused on the decline in coverage of the war in Afghanistan as news organizations shifted attention towards the oil spill. Incidentally, the article notes, this shift came as violence spiked in the country…

When Logan was in Iraq, she became notorious for giving a whole new meaning to the term “embedded with the troops”. And that explains how she finds herself in her current 9-month deployment.

I’m surprised anyone noticed–does CBS and Katie Couric have an audience?

She does, but it is shrinking. The “big 3” network newscasts used to have about 3/4 of all TV viewers at dinnertime. Now, it’s closer to 1/5, & it’s gonna get worse for them…or better, at least in my eyes.

Logan was involved with CNN’s resident drunken war correspondent, Micheal Ware……I like how his nose points way to his left as well.As for Lara Logan, this will be her 2nd child, & she still looks good. Her hubby was married at the time they got together…homewrecker. Is there any way we can send her back to her native South Africa?

Weapons of mass seduction…brilliant!

Wow! And the Liberals call Ann Coulter a skank? But seriously folks, take my wife, please… No… really. Any way, I can’t see how ABC can justify their action on war coverage because one correspondent got pregnant. That kind of rational is akin to saying, “We’re ignoring this because our ‘ringer’ is indisposed.”
