Debbie Wasserman Schultz: “We’ve really begun to turn the economy around”

by editor on August 4, 2011

Have you ever seen a photo of DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz that doesn’t look like a mugshot from SmokingGun.com?

No, seriously. Think about it. Maybe do a Google image search and then come back and tell us we’re wrong. We swear every photo of the woman looks like she was just arrested for some heinous crime.

With that in mind, feel free to consider what the Democrats have done to the economy as a crime and consider Wasserman Schultz to be an accomplice.

Here is, perhaps, her dumbest comment ever, which is quite a difficult competition to judge.

“Well, we’re going to focus on what we know is the number one priorities on Americans ease minds right now, that is creating jobs and continuing to get this economy turned around. If we have to drag the Republicans with us, then we’ll do that, but, you know, it’s been a whole lot of months, eight months they have controlled the house with no jobs bills coming to the Floor. Hopefully now with this compromise on the debt ceiling behind us, with the opportunity, with the economic to sit down and focus on longer-term deficit reduction that will have some balance and ask some sacrifice for our most fortunate,” Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) told MSNBC. Schultz is also the Chairwoman of the DNC.

“We’re creating jobs each month in the private sector.”

Are the American people dumb enough to buy this line of crap?

Your right about the photo…I think she looks like one of those women in a trailer park (Olivia) who gets into a fight with her boyfriend, the cops get called and they arrest the boyfriend while Little Debbie hangs over the porch railer in a tube top yelling, “I love you”….and “he didn’t mean to do it, but the Republicans haven’t gotten bubba a job in eight months”….DNC meets COPS

You know just a side thought…You could write the Declarartion of Independence on her forehead with a sharpie and still have room for the grocery list…..

In keeping with famous legislators like the “Caveman Congressman” I propose that her new name be “Mongo” — as in: “We got this one kid, Mongo… He’s got a forehead like a drive-in movie theatre, but he’s a good ship. “

Yes, I still think that the majority of them are, but more and more are coming around. A little story here: I went out to the mailbox a few weeks ago when the mailperson was putting the mail in the box and I noticed that she was listening to Bill Carroll on KFI. For those of you that don’t know KFI is a talk radio station in LA. Pretty conservative stuff. So here is a union member that listens to a talk radio station that carries Rush Limbaugh and she listens to him too.

I think things may be looking better for the future, if we can hold on a while longer.

A glimmer of hope. With luck word of this won’t get to the USPS offices in range of KFI because they’ll block those non prog-lib stations in the vehicles!

Liz, I talk with my mail person from time to time, he doesn’t listen to Rush or any of that because we live in an area where you can’t pick up the signal, but he’s a very conservative person too! We have talked about Glenn Beck, and O’Reilly.
I think even the post office people are getting fed up.

I’ve been a member of the Operating Engineers Union for over 30 years, and I started listening to Rush about 25 years ago. I hadn’t really formed an opinion at that time about politics, and I listened to whatever was on KFI at the moment. Rush just seemed to make more sense than Bill Press. A LOT more.

I just think that saying the federal government created private-sector jobs is an oxymoron.

If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you were not a racist, vote for someone else (anyone) in 2012 to prove you are not an idiot!

I’m astonished that the seniors keep her in office.

If I’m not mistaken, she ran un-opposed.

My mail “person”?? She most CERTAINLY is a confirmed Obama voter. I reminded her that I now have FOUR (4) missing packages. I suggested they were delivered to the wrong box. She thought that preposterous, and me crazy. Three months later, 2 of them were dropped in the outside mailbox and got delivered. She said “UPS had them all this time, and dropped them in the outside box”. I said oh really? I have TWO printouts here with Delivery Confirmations proving they were delivered HERE to the Post Office 3 months ago, and remember, YOU told me youself you put the notices in MY box!
