The officlal video description says, “Young Boozer is a conservative Republican running for Alabama State Treasurer. Young Boozer has an undergraduate degree in economics from Stanford University and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business. Young Boozer has 34 years of private sector experience managing billions of dollars in investments. Most recently served as Deputy State Finance Director for Governor Bob Riley. Young Boozer. Funny name, serious leadership.”
(We’d also vote for the hot blonde at the :17 mark of the clip. Especially if her real name was Hot Blonde.)
Christine O’Donnell is fighting back with a very nice commercial that attempts to retake the high ground.
One of the oldest rules in politics says, “Never allow yourself to be defined by your opponent.”
Unfortunately, Delaware Republican Christine O’Donnell forgot that rule and allowed her opponent to spread the message that “She’s crazy. She’s a witch. She’s unstable.”
So now O’Donnell is fighting back with a very nice commercial that attempts to retake the high ground.
HotAir.com says, “…the goal is to humanize her as quickly and powerfully as possible. Not a syllable is breathed here about policy, party affiliation, or conservatism; it’s a straightforward “everyman versus the establishment” appeal which, thanks to O’Donnell’s poise and the direct, soft-spoken conversational appeal to the camera, ends up being quite arresting.
Nice delivery, too. Especially the last line.
We would like Christine O’Donnell to be our Senator. The Editor adds that he would also like to have her rub Crisco all over his body. The Administrator notes that he wants nothing to do with either the Crisco nor another restraining order on the Editor.
Barack Obama’s now under water more than the Little Mermaid. People are turning away from him like he cut one in the elevator. He’s about as popular as a venereal disease.
Barack Obama’s now under water more than the Little Mermaid. People are turning away from him like he cut one in the elevator. He’s about as popular as a venereal disease.
OK, enough is enough. Let’s get on with the details of Gallup’s latest poll:
President Obama ponders America's virulent racism
With his public approval solidly below 50% in September, it follows that less than a majority in most key demographic subgroups approve of the job the president is doing. His staunchest supporters remain blacks (91%), self-identified Democrats (79%), and self-identified liberals (75%).
Several other groups, all tending to be Democratic in their political orientation, give Obama approval ratings just above the majority level. These include young adults, Hispanics, Eastern region residents, political moderates, those who are unmarried, those with a postgraduate education, and those in the lowest income bracket.
Check out the chart. Only 36% of whites are still buying this guy’s snake oil, compared to 91% of blacks.
For the fourth straight year, the majority of Americans say they have little or no trust in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly.
Now if we could just get 57% of Americans to say, “I hate the media dot com,” life would be good. We’d have more hits than Drudge and more prestige than…well…we’d still be conservative so we wouldn’t have any prestige at all.
But that’s beside the point. Gallup.com has the details of the media-hating American people:
If you really hate the media (and love IHTM), you'd click the image and buy a T-shirt.
For the fourth straight year, the majority of Americans say they have little or no trust in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly. The 57% now saying this is a record high by one percentage point. The 43% of Americans who, in Gallup’s annual Governance poll, conducted Sept. 13-16, 2010, express a great deal or fair amount of trust ties the record low, and is far worse than three prior Gallup readings on this measure from the 1970s.
Trust in the media is now slightly higher than the record-low trust in the legislative branch but lower than trust in the executive and judicial branches of government, even though trust in all three branches is down sharply this year. These findings also further confirm a separate Gallup poll that found little confidence in newspapers and television specifically.
Nearly half of Americans (48%) say the media are too liberal, tying the high end of the narrow 44% to 48% range recorded over the past decade. One-third say the media are just about right while 15% say they are too conservative.
15% say the media is too conservative? Probably pretty close to the percentage of Americans who are clinically insane.
Federal copy editors are demanding the city change its 250,900 street signs — such as these for Perry Avenue in The Bronx — from the all-caps style used for more than a century to ones that capitalize only the first letters.
Was anyone paying attention? Did you happen to note the exact moment when democracy was replaced by bureaucracy in the United States?
The New York Post has the latest example of federal bureaucrats forcing taxpayers to piss away their money:
WARNING: IT'S UNSAFE TO READ THIS CAPTION BECAUSE IT'S IN ALL-CAPS
Federal copy editors are demanding the city change its 250,900 street signs — such as these for Perry Avenue in The Bronx — from the all-caps style used for more than a century to ones that capitalize only the first letters.
Changing BROADWAY to Broadway will save lives, the Federal Highway Administration contends in its updated Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, citing improved readability.
At $110 per sign, it will also cost the state $27.6 million, city officials said.
…The new regulations also require a change in font from the standard highway typeface to Clearview, which was specially developed for this purpose.
As a result, even numbered street signs will have to be replaced.
…The Highway Administration acknowledged that New York and other states “opposed the change, and suggested that the use of all upper-case letters remain an option,” noting that “while the mixed-case words might be easier to read, the amount of improvement in legibility did not justify the cost.”
Damn the expense. The letter of the law must be followed. But only if it’s upper and lower case.
Problem with a Teleprompter is that it can show you the words, but it can’t tell you how to pronounce them. Wonder if Diane Denish was ever a “corpseman.”

We got this email from one of our readers in Iraq. He’s still there and he’s still fighting the bad guys, no matter what President Obama says.
No humor here. Nary a laugh. We got this email from one of our readers in Iraq. He’s still there and he’s still fighting the bad guys, no matter what the President says:
What about the Combat units that Obama forgot out here? I say this not thirty minutes after returning from a mission into the red zone in Baghdad.
Last time I checked (let me look at the patch on my shoulder again), I belong to an Infantry Brigade Combat Team, and still roll outside the wire on missions almost every day, with on average three firearms (an M4 rifle, M9 pistol, and M240/M249 machine gun depending on the mission) in full body armor, in the turret of an MRAP, with over one thousand rounds of ammunition within easy reach.
If all the combat units/troops are out of Iraq, can we come home now? Were we forgotten?
I must withhold my name as per the law regarding soldiers speaking of such topics, but feel free to research a unit I can not confirm nor deny I belong to, but is also one of these forgotten units: the 256th IBCT national guard unit from Louisiana. If the war is over and we combat units are no longer needed/no longer here, why do I see Baghdad when I step outside my CHU? Why can’t I turn in my weapons and see my family again?
Is Gloria Allred a camera whore? Most assuredly. Is Gloria Allred a leftist hack who’s trying to destroy Meg Whitman’s campaign with some trumped up charges? Most definitely. Is Gloria Allred one of the most annoying people in America. Yes.
It doesn’t take a Magic 8-Ball to answer the following questions:
Is Gloria Allred a camera whore? Most assuredly. Is Gloria Allred a leftist hack who’s trying to destroy Meg Whitman’s campaign with some trumped up charges? Most definitely. Is Gloria Allred one of the most annoying people in America. Yes. And finally, did Greta Van Susteren make a fool of Gloria Allred on Friday night? Friggin’ A, Ray.
The interview just didn’t go the way Allred expected. Watch the way her smile slowly disappears as the interview progresses. But the highlight is when Greta looks her in the face and says, “Gloria, this is almost delusional.”
What does Ahmadinejad believe? IHateTheMedia.com’s editor sat down for an in-depth interview with the Iranian leader and this is what he told us:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recently gave a speech outlining his firm decision to govern his nation by guidance from a collection of mistruths, lies, distortions and urban legends. Fortunately, he gave this speech at the United Nations where they’ve been doing that for years.
But what else does Ahmadinejad believe? IHateTheMedia.com’s editor sat down for an in-depth interview with the Iranian leader and this is what he told us:
10. Islam specifically bans trick-or-treating because of shards of glass and razor blades have been implanted in candy by evil people, who are probaby Jewish.
9. While parking with his girlfriend, Ahmadinejad heard the news that a political prisoner who had a hook for a hand escaped from a nearby re-education facility. He immediately left the area and when he got home, he found a hook lodged in the car’s door handle!
8. Captain Kangaroo was a trained Marine sniper. He was also probably Jewish.
7. A Nigerian prince has $2 million that he wants Ahmadinejad to hold onto. Damn sanctions make it impossible for him to claim his cash.
Loretta Sanchez, one of the House’s sinister Sanchez sisters, strikes again, this time promising a lame duck vote on amnesty if the Democrats lose in November.
Loretta Sanchez, one of the House’s sinister Sanchez sisters, made the news last week with a racist rant – in Spanish – against Vietnamese-Americans and Republicans.
Loretta Sanchez' motto: Open mouth, insert foot
This week she’s hopped into a new vat of hot water with this gem:
“The problem is this, and I am going to lay it in front of the Latino community: If we do not win, in November, there will be no vote for a reform until another 10 or 20 years. If we win, we will have a voting in November or December. I do not know if we’ll pass the law but we will take a vote. But if we do not win, we are going to have to wait another 10 to 20 years because what is happening in this country is very anti-immigration.”
Two words: Incapacitado pato (If our schoolyard Spanish hasn’t failed us, that means “lame duck” in Spanish. But the odds are 50-50 that is means “Your mother is a whore.”)
Florida continues to be unkind of Albert Gore, Jr. The former next President of the United States made a campaign appearance for Florida Senate candidate Kendrick Meek in Tampa on Thursday, but it didn’t go well.
Florida continues to be unkind of Albert Gore, Jr. The former next President of the United States made a campaign appearance for Florida Senate candidate Kendrick Meek in Tampa on Thursday, but it didn’t go well.
When the Gore started blathering on about global warming, one Florida resident couldn’t take it anymore. He began screaming, “You’re a fraud. Global warming is a hoax.”
The other interesting thing about Gore’s speech is that he never mentioned the words “Barack Obama.” Not in this short clip, not in the entire speech.
Our theory? Gore saw a poll in the paper that said, “Obama under water in Florida” and thought to himself, “See, I told you. global warming is causing the sea levels to rise.”
MSNBC’s Ed Schultz went on the air after Glenn Beck’s 8/28 rally and said that if he held a rally, he could draw more than 300,000 people. Didn’t quite turn out that way.
MSNBC’s Ed Schultz went on the air after Glenn Beck’s 8/28 rally and said that if he held a rally, he could draw more than 300,000 people. Didn’t quite turn out that way. Not even close, even with the support of every left wing-union-environmentalist wacko organization in the country.
Sorry, Ed. You tried to make it sound like this was your rally, but One Nation’s socialist and communist organizers refused to give you anything but the opening slot.
It’s not seen on this clip, but one of the idiot lefties who introduced Schultz said (and this is verbatim), “We want a clean environment, so our children will never have to report to drinking water, breathing air and staying healthy.”
Four notes on Ed’s dismal screaming.
The crowd seems small compared to Beck’s, but that doesn’t factor in all the dead voters ACORN bussed in.
Early in his screed, Ed had a 70s flashback and actually screamed, “Power to the people.”
We think we heard a couple crickets chirping after Ed screamed, “Do you love America?”
He may call Chris Christie “a fat slob,” but it’s been a while since Ed shopped for suits anywhere but the portly department.
Louis Pate is a conservative running for the North Carolina State Senate. We’re not sure if his commercial is just cute as hell or a brilliant parody of typical political commercials. Or maybe both.

Watch it all the way through just for the last line.
Family Guy is rude, crude, and generally hilarious. It’s the kind of show that makes you laugh out loud one minute and say, “Oh, my god. Did they really say that?” the next. And Sunday’s episode stars Rush Limbaugh.

The octogenarian operator of the Huffington Post (what’s that, she’s not 80?) said:
“Maybe progressives and the middle class need to sort of face up to the fact that the president is not that much into them, that he would rather hang out with Larry Summers, or flirt with Olympia Snowe, or play wargames late into the night with General Petraeus.”
Barack Obama flirting with Olympia Snowe? It’s an odd image, but considering who he’s married to, a completely understandable one.
Adios, amigo. You were usually good for at least one “stupid anchorman” story each week. So let’s bid Rick a fond farewell by taking a look back at three of Rick’s most embarrassing comments.
If you hear of any television stations or cable news networks that are looking for an ignoramus anchor, please let Rick Sanchez know.
CNN just released this statement:
“Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well.“
This, of course, comes just hours after the public became aware of Sanchez’ satellite radio interview with CNN contributor Pete Dominick in which the now-former anchor said:
“I’m telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like (Jon) Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority? Yeah.”
We ended our previous Rick Sanchez story by asking the question, “How long until Sanchez is fired?” The answer, it turns out, was about four hours.

Turnabout is fair play, especially in politics. So Townhall.com put together this brilliant parody of Grayson’s commercial.
Alan Grayson, the leading lunatic in Congress, made a campaign commercial in which he took his opponent Dan Webster’s words completely out of context. It was such a blatant lie that even MSNBC objected.
Grayson’s response? Refuse to back down. Continue running the commercial even though the opponent’s clear meaning was the exact opposite of what the commercial said it was.
But turnabout is fair play, especially in politics. So Townhall.com put together this brilliant parody of Grayson’s commercial.
The CNN moron went off on Jon Stewart and his Jewish bosses on Pete Dominick’s satellite radio show yesterday. He got things rolling by calling Stewart “a bigot” and it went downhill from there.
The stupidest man in news has gone beyond mere stupidity to career suicide. He’s now become the Mel Gibson of cable news.
The CNN moron went off on Jon Stewart and his Jewish bosses on Pete Dominick’s satellite radio show yesterday. He got things rolling by calling Stewart “a bigot” and it went downhill from there.
Dominick: How is he a bigot? Sanchez: I think he looks at the world through, his mom, who was a school teacher, and his dad, who was a physicist or something like that. Great, I’m so happy that he grew up in a suburban middle class New Jersey home with everything you could ever imagine. Dominick: What group is he bigoted towards? Sanchez: Everybody else who’s not like him. Look at his show, I mean, what does he surround himself with? … I’m telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority? Yeah.
Two questions:
How long until Sanchez is fired?
How long until some liberal media maven calls Sanchez a “conservative bigot?”
The global warming movement has officially moved into that insane territory inhabited by Muslim extremists in which non-believers are killed. At least in the eco-wackos’ fantasies.

Fortunately, the reaction to this violent video has been so overwhelmingly negative that the eco-wackos were forced to remove it from their website.
Too late, wackos. Your sick fantasies now live on the internet.

Paul Krugman wants you to take the $10,000 bill and go buy yourself a hamburger
We’re not sure he knows that’s what he did, but read his words from a recent column for yourself and see if that isn’t the obvious conclusion:
A naive view says that what we need is a return to virtue: everyone needs to save more, pay down debt, and restore healthy balance sheets.
The problem with this view is the fallacy of composition: when everyone tries to pay down debt at the same time, the result is a depressed economy and falling inflation, which cause the ratio of debt to income to rise if anything. That is, we’re living in a world in which the twin paradoxes of thrift and deleveraging hold, and hence in which individual virtue ends up being collective vice.
So what will happen? In the end, I’d argue, what must happen is an effective default on a significant part of debt, one way or another. The default could be implicit, via a period of moderate inflation that reduces the real burden of debt; that’s how World War II cured the depression. Or, if not, we could see a gradual, painful process of individual defaults and bankruptcies, which ends up reducing overall debt.
A little inflation. That’s all we need. And, of course, government economists are so adept at monetary policy that they will be able precisely control the amount of inflation they introduce into the economy.
Much like they’ve been able to precisely control the rest of the economy for the last two years.
Since the President’s actual brother is still living in a 60-square foot hovel in the slums of Nairobi, we can only assume he means that in a Big Brother sort of way.
So there’s President Obama, talking to ordinary Americans in a backyard in Albuquerque, when he says the following:
First Brother George Obama is still waiting for a little foreign aid from his brother Barack
“So I came to my Christian faith later in life and it was because the precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead–being my brothers’ and sisters’ keeper, treating others as they would treat me.”

By continuing to run his latest campaign commercial despite the shocking response it has elicited, Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson keeps pulling the wrong lever, in effect proving what his constituents have been saying since he first came to congress – Alan Grayson is a stupid rat.
Scientists test the intelligence of rats by putting them in a cage with two levers – one releases a food treat, the other delivers an electric shock. Smart rodents learn quickly which lever to press and which to avoid.
By continuing to run his latest campaign commercial despite the shocking response it has elicited, Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson keeps pulling the wrong lever, in effect proving what his constituents have been saying since he first came to congress – Alan Grayson is a stupid rat.
Factcheck.org and PolitiFact have both labeled his “Taliban Dan” attack ad on Republican opponent Dan Webster as false. In the commercial, Grayson took video of Webster out of context to make it seem like he said the exact opposite of what he actually said.
The ad is such a blatant lie that even lefty outfits CNN and MSNBC have condemned Grayson for it. And the spot has backfired, causing money to pour into the Webster campaign (donations are up over 300% since the ad first aired) while making the discredited Grayson’s own poll numbers drop (Crazy Al said on MSNBC that he’s leading by double digits when he’s actually behind in most polls by 5-6 points.)
So just how loony is Grayson? He’s defending the ad and continues to run it.
Despite being taken entirely out of context, Webster is not getting anywhere near the network coverage or sympathy that Shirley Sherrod got.
Is it a penalty for being white? A penalty for being conservative? A penalty for being both? Or is it just a professional courtesy extended to Grayson by the rats in the media?
