Paul McCartney dedicates ‘Michelle’ to first lady, overlooks far more appropriate Beatles songs

Paul McCartney dedicated the song “Michelle” to Michelle Obama. He picked the wrong song. Here are some more appropriate choices, including Back in the USSR.

Sir Paul McCartney was performing at FedEx Field in Washington, DC last weekend. Since he was just down the road from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the former Beatle paid tribute to Michelle Obama by dedicating his classic song “Michelle” to the first lady.

The song’s lyrics say “I love you, I love you, I love you / That’s all I want to say.” But keep in mind that this is the same aged rocker who married an alleged peg-legged former prostitute (the peg-legged part is confirmed, but the former prostitute part is only alleged).

Nevertheless, we think Paul’s LSD usage in the 60s is starting to catch up with him. He obviously dedicated the wrong song to Michelle. There were just so many others that were far more appropriate.

Sit back and click and enjoy the Beatles songs that should have been dedicated to our First Socialist Lady.

Baby, You’re A Rich Man (You make over $75,000 per year so Michelle and her husband want their share. Plus a surtax.)

Chains (The Beatles called them “Chains of Love,” but we’d call them “Chains of Socialism”)

Devil In Her Heart (Can’t help but agree with the title)

Hello, Goodbye (We don’t agree about anything)

Helter Skelter (Yes, the world is going insane and your husband in running the asylum)

Hey, Bulldog (Michelle’s one of the most beautiful people in the world? C’mon. Seriously?)

I Me Mine (The Obama administration seems to think that there is no I, me or mine. It’s all theirs)

I’m Down (C’mon, Michelle, how can you laugh when you know I’m down?)

Misery (Alphabetically just one Beatles tune away from “Michelle.” This may have been the one McCartney meant to dedicate to the First Lady)

Money, That’s What I Want (Unfortunately, Michelle, your husband also wants our money)

Piggies (The men in white starched shirts want to take everything we have)

Revolution #9 (We don’t want your husband’s socialist revolution, Michelle)

Slow Down (Why does everything have to be done NOW?)

Taxman (You’re married to the Taxman-In-Chief, Michelle)

The Fool on the Hill (Or, perhaps, the Fool On Capitol Hill)

You Can’t Do That (Cap and trade? New taxes? Socialized medicine? You can’t do that.)

You Never Gave Me Your Money (But you want to take all of ours, don’t you?)

Obama’s jeans get ripped in new music parody

Most comedians won’t touch Barack Obama with a ten foot Lech Walesa. But Greg Morton, the color blind black singer who created the Obama Man Song, is now making fun of the President’s sense of style.

Most comedians won’t touch Barack Obama with a ten foot Lech Walesa. But Greg Morton, the color blind black singer who created the Obama Man Song, is now making fun of the President’s sense of style.

Morton appeared on Bob & Tom’s syndicated radio show, singing “Obama in Mom Jeans,” which is set to the tune of Neil Diamond’s “Forever in Blue Jeans.”

It’s pretty damn funny. And Morton does a great Neil Diamond impression, too.

Hilarious music video simultaneously parodies R&B singers and ObamaCare

“Boyfriend With Health Benefits” tells the touching story of a young woman who’s searching for true love. Well, true love and a healthcare plan that covers lasik eye surgery. And shiatsu massage. And prescription drugs. And acupuncture. And podiatry.

As the song says, “If you really wanna be my man, boy, you gotta put me on your health care plan.”

This is 2009, honey. You don’t need a boyfriend, you need ObamaCare.

John Lennon’s “Imagine” rewritten for “The One”

This parody of John Lennon’s “imagine” song was posted on YouTube right after Barack Obama fooled the majority into voting for him.

This parody of John Lennon’s “imagine” song was posted to YouTube just after Barack Obama had successfully fooled the majority into voting for him. We have a feeling those middle of the road Republicans who supported Obama as a “transformative figure” and “conservative democrat,” now, only eight months later, have come to understand the sentiments expressed in this video.

As the chorus says, “Welcome to the Obamanation, aren’t you having lots of fun?”

Most requested music video of the day: “No Obamanation”

“Obamanation” was written and sung by Ash Soular. It’s beautiful. She’s beautiful. It’s haunting. She’s beautiful. (Did we already say that?)

“I’m grateful to have the right to be outspoken,” Ash said. “I wanted to express how I felt about this past election, but I’m not very good at writing political blogs or particularly fond of debating. So I figured, how better to express my opinion than to write a song.

“To elaborate: This song is about how we’ve forgotten the importance of our leaders’ character. The expression, “Obamanation”, (a play on words, yes) is also meant to symbolize a reality where people vote for politicians based upon charisma, instead of the content of their character.”

“It’s describing a situation where we are blinded by those whose main goal is to spend more of our tax money while ignoring our values.”

“It reminds us that the change THEY want may not be the change that YOU want. Let them know whose change matters.”

Love it, Ash.

Al Sharpton to Jackson kids: “Wasn’t nothin’ strange about your daddy.”

“Wasn’t nothin’ strange about yo’ daddy,” Sharpton said to Jackson’s children at yesterday’s Michael Jackson Memorial Service. “It was strange what yo’ daddy had to deal with.”

What’s strange to you may not be strange to someone else. But surely we can all agree that Al Sharpton’s comments at yesterday’s Michael Jackson Memorial Service & Three-Ring Circus were very damn strange.

“Wasn’t nothin’ strange about yo’ daddy,” Sharpton said to Jackson’s children. “It was strange what yo’ daddy had to deal with.”

Darwinian Story of the Day:
“Michael Jackson Fans are Committing Suicide”

Michael Jackson fanatics have been recently committing suicide because of the pop star’s tragic death.

The Sun UK reports that Michael Jackson fans are offing themselves a bit too often. Life without a grotesque child molester, it seems, just isn’t worth living.

According to Michael Jackson’s largest online fan club, MJ fanatics have been recently committing suicide because of the pop star’s tragic death.

The Sun is reporting that up to 12 die-hard Jackson followers have taken their own lives since his passing on Thursday.

In this case, “die-hard” was probably an inappropriate choice of words.

The Michael Jackson video that says what everyone really thinks about the media coverage

We would never run a video with the language in this video, but creator Jon Lajoie nails the media’s disgust for, and then after his death, love for, Michael Jackson. if you can take objectionable language, it’s a must hear.

Normally, we wouldn’t run a video with the language contained in this music video. But creator Jon Lajoie nails the media’s disgust for, and then after his death, love for, Michael Jackson. If you can take objectionable language, it’s a must hear for anyone who is sick of the media coverage his death and funeral are receiving.

To give you an idea of the content, here is the chorus (he is speaking to the media):

Michael Jackson is dead, don’t pretend you give a sh*t,
you motherf***ing hypocrites, don’t forget what you said he did.

Michael Jackson is dead, no, you never gave a sh*t,
So why are you pretending, you motherf***ing hypocrites?

Squirm-inducing Michael Jackson talks about sex in just uncovered, creepy video

This tape, uncovered by the UK’s News of the World, shows Jackson being grilled by attorneys about child abuse allegations.

Yeah, we know we’re supposed to show respect for the dead, but that doesn’t change the fact that Michael Jackson always creeped us out.

This tape, uncovered by the UK’s News of the World, shows Jackson being grilled by attorneys about child abuse allegations.

The never-before-made-public video was recorded in 1996 after employees at Neverland Ranch sued Jackson. The unseen attorney questions Jackson about his relationship with several young boys – including Jordy Chandler, Mcauley Culkin, and Brett Barnes. Jackson responds by squirming in his seat, laughing nervously, groaning and burying his face in his hands.

It’s not known if attorneys for Bubbles the chimpanzee were given an opportunity to question Jackson.

Michael Jackson at his very best

You have to give Michael Jackson credit. When he was at his best, no one was better. No one. Here he is doing “Billie Jean” live. No back up dancers. Just Michael in the spotlight showing why he was the biggest star in the world.

Drug-crazed hippies run amok on TV show

Two of Lawrence Welk’s squeaky-clean singers perform the Brewer & Shipley song, “One Toke Over the Line.” The song references “Sweet Jesus,” which leads the grand old man of American music to describe it as “a modern spiritual.”

Maybe so. We know some people who claim they’ve seen God while they were stoned.

We just wish we’d be around when Welk found out what the song was really about.

This clip is damn near 40 years old now, but still hilarious.

Pardon us while we laugh: Air America tries to reinvent itself. Again.

Former Air America host Rachel Maddow. Or current Air America host Ron Reagan, Jr. We're not sure which.
Former Air America host Rachel Maddow. Or current Air America host Ron Regan, Jr. We're not sure which.

Air America breathlessly announced yet another corporate restructuring this week.

It’s starting its own network sales division, which will pitch all the company’s radio, video and online content directly to ad agencies instead of depending on third party rep Westwood One for ad sales.

“Agencies are sophisticated in their planning and their creative approach in making strategies for their clients, which will hopefully become our clients,” said Air America Media CEO Bennett Zier. “Because Air America is a particular type of company, and a left of center company, there are certain companies that want to advertise with us, and we want to be able to facilitate that and work with them more directly.”

“Air America is turning into a multimedia company,” Zier said. “And we are looking to attract listeners, viewers and readers with the radio and airamerica.com.”

The good news is that Air America’s management has finally discovered capitalism. The bad news is that it probably won’t trickle down to the air talent.

And we use the term “talent” very loosely.

15 KICK-ASS MILITARY SONGS FOR THE WORLD’S MOST KICK-ASS MILITARY

Let’s make one thing clear right up front. This is not your typical list of patriotic songs. Hardly.

Each song on this list, while not a military song, was chosen because it expresses something honest about the troops. Their heart. Their grit. Their toughness. Their tenderness. The lives they lead that ordinary mortals can never imagine.

These are songs for the troops, about the troops. These are the songs that speak to them. The songs that inspired them to enlist. The songs that remind them to re-up. The songs that get them revved up. The songs they sing. The songs they live. The songs they love. Not military songs, but hopefully they will love them.

“THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER” – TED NUGENT

Bono performs his tribute to Elvis Presley exclusively for IHateTheMedia.com

Bono, the tax-evading frontman for Irish rockers U2, unveiled an odd ode to Elvis Presley on Great Britain’s Radio 4 this morning. It’s a 14-minute long…uh…poem.

If anything, it proves that U2’s music must be even better than anyone ever realized, because it had to compensate for Bono’s absurd lyrics.

The poem is titled American David. It’s a melange of odd, seemingly insulting rhymes loosely set to a music track. It also contains numerous words and phrases that many will consider offensive, such as “white nigger” and “spastic” and “shit.”

The Times UK describes it like this:

One rhyming triplet played on the singer’s long weight battle: “Elvis the bumper stickers/ Elvis the white knickers/ Elvis the white nigger ate at Burger King and just kept getting bigger.”

Another took aim at his iconic dance move: “Elvis the ecstatic/ Elvis the plastic/ Elvis the elastic with a spastic dance that could explain the energy of America.”

But other lines told of the U2 singer’s admiration, as he called the late pin-up “pharoah-like”, a “genius” and a “psalmist”.

Pardon us if we seem presumptuous, but we’d like to contribute our own lyrics:

He died on the toilet/ Covered with his own sweat/ Don’t be upset but don’t forget, closet thing America ever had to a king

Hey, it might not be great, but it’s no worse than that crap Bono’s wrote.

When do the royalties start rolling in?

Tony Bennett left his heart in San Francisco, but left his brain in the Soviet Union

Damn, we feel a little guilty making fun of Tony Bennett. We want to forgive the guy for these stupid comments based on the fact that he’s 82 and possibly senile. But he’s never shown any evidence of senility until this video clip. So what the hell – he’s fair game.

Let’s just make this short and sweet. He wants you to support President Obama in anything he wants to do. Period.

President Obama wants to destroy capitalism? Tony Bennett’s behind him all the way.

President Obama wants to take over the banks? Tony Bennett says, “Right on.”

President Obama wants the government to warranty your new car? Tony Bennett says, “Gobama!”

President Obama wants to make Michelle Queen of New Jersey? Tony Bennett says, “When do I curtsy?”

Stick to singing, Tony.

Prince tries to prove that Michael Jackson isn’t the weirdest man in show biz

Unfortunately, this was not a wardrobe malfunction. It was intentional.
Unfortunately, this was not a wardrobe malfunction. It was intentional.
Prince showed up for a strange interview on Tavis Smiley’s show a few nights ago and seemed intent upon proving that he’s just as crazy as Michael Jackson.

Among the many topics he touched on was chemtrails. That’s the wacko theory that contrails left in the sky by jets are secretly laced with chemicals as part of some giant plan to control the public. Or infect the public. Or something like that.

The recording artist once again known as Prince also believes our government should be based on prophecy and morals, which seems odd coming from a guy who showed up on a televised awards show with his butt hanging out of two holes where the seat of his pants should have been.

Oh, and let’s not leave out his comment that there were eight presidents before George Washington.

Prince is nuts. He’s always been nuts. But Little Red Corvette is still a very cool song.

Conservative talk show host shoots wife and dog

Conservative talk show host Shannon Burke definitely has a face made for radio.
Conservative talk show host Shannon Burke definitely has a face made for radio.

Conservative Florida radio personality Shannon Burke has been charged with shooting his wife and dog. Are we the only ones who think this sounds like a bad country and western song?

Burke, who hosts a mid-day show on Florida’s RealRadio 104.1, describes his show as “mixture of outrageous daily, biker attitude and personality, and right-wing style rants.”

Burke’s version of the story is that he got mad at his dog, grabbed a handgun and threatened to shoot it. When the gun “accidentally” discharged, the bullet went through the dog’s leg and then grazed the side of his wife head.

He’s been charged with two counts — aggravated battery with a weapon and animal cruelty. Bond was set at $10,000 and he was ordered to wear an ankle bracelet monitor.

Catherine Burke and the dog were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Consider this proof that talk show hosts should limit themselves to shooting off their mouths.

Susan Boyle, Britain’s virgin singing sensation, offered $1,000,000 to make porn flick

susan_boyle If you thought Simon Cowell looked stunned when he heard Susan Boyle sing on “Britain’s Got Talent,” imagine the look on his face when he sees her in a porn flick.

Los Angeles-based Kick Ass Films has offered the singing British spinster one million smackers to star in a porn flick.

Unfortunately, the deal calls for the homely virgin with the fabulous voice to sacrifice her virginity on camera. Boyle, a self-confessed virgin, says she’s never kissed a man, much less bedded one.

“We want to get this movie shot and out while Susan has the world’s attention,” said Kick Ass honcho Mark Kulkis. “Besides, after 47 years of virginity, I’m sure Susan is also anxious to get something cracking as soon as possible.”

If Boyle accepts the offer, Kulkis says Kick Ass will fly her to Hollywood on Virgin Airlines.

A YouTube.com clip of Boyle singing on Cowell’s British TV show, “Britain’s Got Talent” has been viewed more than 100 million times around the world.

We just hope that the woman with the voice of an angel isn’t seduced by the man with the soul of the devil.

Actress and singer Rosario Dawson calls Obama “vagina friendly”

Rosario Dawson - actress, singer, political scientist, vagina expert
Rosario Dawson - actress, singer, political scientist, vagina expert
The Cult of Obama has taken perhaps its most bizarre twist. Yeah, bizarre. That’s the right word.

Lousy actress and poor singer Rosario Dawson has given President Obama that would only be considered a compliment in the twisted world of Hollywood. She says his administration is very “vagina friendly.”

The D.C. Examiner reports it like this:

Rosario Dawson has been a vocal supporter of President Barack Obama’s policies, appearing both at the Democratic National Convention and the “We Are One” concert, but Tuesday, she expressed a new reason why she loves our President.

“I feel like we have a very vagina-friendly administration,” Dawson said, speaking at the first Men Can Stop Rape conference at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.

She didn’t elaborate on how the administration was “friendly,” but we presume she meant his work that supports the speech she gave about preventing sexual violence against women. She received a standing ovation.

We think that last line was a typo. It was supposed to have said, “She received a standing ovulation.”

Whatever you do, don’t call Billy Bob Thornton an Actor

Billy Bob Thornton is an Oscar winning actor, but don’t say that to his face, as QTV interviewer Jian Ghomeshi found out the hard way. Nope, the whole movie thing apparently has been a diversion on the road to his recent blockbuster of a music career with his new band, The Boxcars. And that’s all he wants to talk about. Period.

The video is a bit long, but it’s definitely worth a listen of you like to see pretentious actors musicians makes asses of themselves. Over a million people in less than the two days its been out have watched it already, and he’s losing fans on Youtube faster than Angelina Jolie removed th “Billy Bob” tat from her arm. We won’t give it away, but suffice it to say, once you are done watching, you’re going to like ol’ Billy Bob just a little bit less, if you even did like him to begin with.

(If you want to save some time, listen until just under the two minute mark, and then skip to 6:50 and go until minute 10:00.)
