Stupidest quote ever about the Massachusetts
senate election

“Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee said THIS about Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat…’Why would you hand the keys to the car back to the same guys whose policies drove the economy into the ditch and then walked away from the scene of the accident? For the Republicans to say vote for us and bring back the guys who got us into this mess in the first place, I don’t think it’s a winner.’”

Remarkably, Van Hollen saw neither the irony nor the absurdity of his statement.

The photo above, of course, was taken at the Chappaquidick bridge that became famous the last time anyone gave Ted Kennedy the keys to the car.

The results are in and Coakley eeks out a 50-49 win with two million voting. At least that’s what the Boston Globe said, and illustrated with the above election map, some eight hours before the polls closed.

Here’s how the The Boston Phoenix reports the story they broke:

Boston.com briefly put up this map of the final results of today’s election — some 8 hours before polls closed!

As you can see, over 2 million people voted, with Coakley eking out a 50-49 victory.

The map was fully interactive, so you could roll over and get town-by-town results — above we show Coakley taking Cohasset 56-43.

The Boston Globe took the map down shortly after they realized it was all over Twitter, but not before some screenshots were taken.

O’Reilly laughs at idiot guest who claims Scott Brown’s nude centerfold gives him big advantage in election

It think that there are a number of factors here,” Sally Quinn contended. “It’s not quite as black and white as it may seem. First of all Scott Brown is a hunk. And, I think that the fact that he posed semi-nude for a magazine gave him a huge advantage in public recognition.”

Sally Quinn is still alive? Well, we’ll be dipped.

As surprised as we were to find out that the Washington Post columnist is still alive, Bill O’Reilly was even more surprised to find out she’s a complete idiot.

“It think that there are a number of factors here,” Quinn contended. “It’s not quite as black and white as it may seem. First of all Scott Brown is a hunk. And, I think that the fact that he posed semi-nude for a magazine gave him a huge advantage in public recognition.”

O’Reilly was surprisingly kind in pointing out the stupidity of the contention that a 20-year old photo spread could boost anyone’s name recognition today.

Damn, win or lose, this has been one fun election. Can’t remember the last time we saw anything as funny as the way libs are twisting and turning.

Barney Frank on God, the filibuster and the constitution

Witnessing the dismantling of the Democrat Party, Barney Frank had a few frantic words for what’s left of the Air America audience on Saturday. Those damn 60 votes required for passing healthcare bill are just a technicality.

Witnessing the dismantling of the Democrat Party, Barney Frank had a few frantic words Saturday for what’s left of the Air America audience. Those damn 60 votes required for passing healthcare bill are just a technicality.

“Look, we have a serious constitutional problem…The 60 vote majority, it is outrageous…It is time top shut it down. It is anti-democratic.” And our personal favorite: “GOD DIDN’T CREATE THE FILIBUSTER.”

But not to worry, he says: those forty votes against healthcare are just from small states anyway.

Maybe God didn’t create the filibuster, but we think He might have brought us Scott Brown.

And let the absentee ballot voter fraud begin…

Why is Lawrence, Massachusetts community activist Isabel Melendez handing out absentee ballots? Melendez came close to becoming the state’s first elected Latino mayor when she ran for the Lawrence post in 2001.

Desperation: Olbermann calls Scott Brown a homophobic racist who supports violence against women.

Desperate times call for desperate words at MSNBC. So Keith Olbermann called Scott Brown a racist.

Desperate times call for desperate words at MSNBC. So Keith Olbermann did his finest Captain Queeg impression last night, saying:

Lost in the angst about Obama and Coakley is the little-recognized, real headline of this book. You heard Scott Brown speculating, talking out of his bare bottom, about whether or not the President of the United States was born out of wedlock. You’ve heard Scott Brown respond to the shout of his supporter that they should stick a curling iron in Ms. Coakley’s rectum with the answer, “We can do this.”

You may not have heard Scott Brown support a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage or describing to two women having a child as “just not normal.” You may not have heard Scott Brown associating himself with the tea party movement, perhaps the saddest collection of people who don’t want to admit why they really hate since the racists of the south in the 60s insisted they were really just concerned about states rights. You may not have heard Scott Brown voting against paid leaves of absence for Massachusetts Red Cross workers who had gone to New York to help after 9-11.

In short, in Scott Brown we have an irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model tea-bagging supporter of violence against women and against politicians with whom he disagrees.

At any other time in our history, this man would have been laughed off the stage as an unqualified (sic) and as a disaster in the making by the most conservative of conservatives. Instead, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is close to sending this bad joke to the Senate of the United States.

Excuse us, Keith, but that’s “Senator Irresponsible, Homophobic, Racist, Reactionary, Ex-Nude Model, Tea-Bagger” to you.

The voters of Massachusetts, Keith, Massachusetts. Bastion of liberal thought and left wing lunacy.

What a hate-filled, irrational screed. Is it any wonder no one watches this clown anymore?

Scandal: Scott Brown’s daughter reveals
who her real father is

When Scott Brown’s 17-year old daughter Ayla appeared on American Idol in 2008, she revealed the shocking fact that her father is not who she thought it was.

The Democrats’ opposition research team has really let the party down this time. How did they miss this potential scandal lurking in Scott Brown’s background?

When his 17-year old daughter Ayla appeared on American Idol in 2008, she revealed the shocking fact that her father is not who she thought it was.

When this gets out, Brown is finished. Finished, we tell you.

Chris Matthews looks as if his parents were just killed in a horrible car crash

There’s also a great moment at about the :45 mark when Matthews reveals that the latest polls show a double digit lead for Brown.

Could have been Joe Scarborough. Could have been his sidekick, Mika Mxyzptlk. We couldn’t tell.

Obama admits his socialist agenda revolution is kaput if Coakley loses

Comrade Obama knows his socialist revolution is kaput if Martha Coakley loses the Massachusetts senate race. Obama admits it to a Massachusetts rally and Fox News’ Carl Camereon provides the analysis.

Comrade Obama knows his socialist revolution is kaput if Martha Coakley loses the Massachusetts senate race. Obama admits it to a Massachusetts rally and Fox News’ Carl Cameron provides the analysis.

Obama: We’ve got so much work left to do. And, as much progress as we’ve made, I can’t do it alone. I need leaders like Martha by my side so that we can kick it into high gear; so that we can finish what we’ve started.

Cameron: For what’s at stake. President Obama himself has now said that he needs this win because the country’s ability to move forward or back is at stake. A broad sweeping statement that essentially encompasses not only his health care agenda, his economic plans, as well as his green energy proposals. All of these things hinging on whether or not Martha Coakley is elected as a democrat, thus protecting the 60 vote majority.”

Who ever thought that the death of Teddy Kennedy would lead directly to the death of socialism in the United States?

Or perhaps we should say, this version of socialism. Because, unfortunately, socialism is like a vampire. You can kill it a thousand times over, but unless you drive a stake through it’s heart, it keeps coming back to life.

Cavuto’s answer? He hasn’t just lost his mojo, he’s lost his soul.

Prepare to find Keith Olbermann curled up in the fetal position in the corner of his MSNBC studio. Because discussing Obama’s soul could put him right over the edge he so desperately clings to.

Scott Brown’s wife could kick your ass

Turns out Mrs. Scott Brown is a reporter for WCVB-TV the ABC affiliate in Boston using her maiden name, Gail Huff. Here’s Gail taking the Navy SEAL fitness test. We’d bet on her in a death cage match with Barney Frank. And we’d pay to see it, too.

We hear a lot about Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown and even a bit about his smokin’ hot daughters. Hell, they’ve even trotted out Snuggles and Koda, the family dogs. But why has Mrs. Brown been so conspicuously absent?

Did candidate Brown go through an ugly divorce? Is the wife hideously disfigured? Is Dick Cheney holding her captive in an undisclosed location to keep her from revealing damaging secrets about the Republican candidate?

None of the above. Turns out Mrs. Brown is a reporter for WCVB-TV the ABC affiliate in Boston using her maiden name, Gail Huff. She’s kept a low profile because she has an agreement with the station that she won’t cover politics nor appear at any of her husband’s campaign events to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest.

Hell freezes over! SEIU members campaign for Scott Brown!

While the SEIU leadership is working overtime to help Democrat Martha Coakley win the Massachusetts Senate seat, its members are out on the street rallying for Republican Scott Brown.

Looks like the leadership of SIEU is, shall we say, out of step with its rank-and-file members.

Union leaders and union members going in opposite directions? Seems more than vaguely reminiscent of the Reagan revolution.

Olbermann wants to know why Scott Brown’s nude Cosmo centerfold hasn’t become a political liability

Left wing lunatic Keith Olbermann looks at Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown’s nude centerfold in Cosmo and wonders why it hasn’t become an overwhelming political negative for the candidate.

And this, friends, underscores the fact that there truly is a huge philosophical difference between MSNBC hosts Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews.

What’s the difference?

See, there really are differences between the two.

Jim Cramer predicts big “Scott Brown” stock market rally

CNBC Mad Money host Jim Cramer predicts that a Scott Brown win in the Massachusetts senate race heralds the end of Obama’s socialist experiment. And that, friends, will lead directly to a massive stock market rally. We say a bit of this today as the markets gained strongly on predictions are that Brown will win.

Cramer: …I think investors who are nervous about the dictatorship of the Pelosi proletariat will feel at ease, and we could have a gigantic rally off a Coakley loss and a Brown win. It will be a signal that a more pro-business, less pro-labor government could be in front of us. Hey, would you say it is more China like perhaps? No, we can never be as capitalist as the Communist Chinese. But how about a little bit less like the old Soviet Union? Yeah, that would be a bit more like it. Pelosi politburo emasculation! Everything from the banks, which are usually in the Democrats’ penalty box, or the oils which are despised by this administration for being carbon, could be propelled dramatically higher all of this Tuesday night.

Make sense to us. But then, we’re need to worry about our own states of mind when Cramer starts making sense.

We regret to inform you of the death of two cherished liberal myths

Remarkably cold weather killed twenty-six patients in a Cuban mental hospital this week. It also killed two liberal myths.

January, 2020: Cuban worker commuting to his job in the tobacco fields

Remarkably cold weather killed twenty-six patients in a Cuban mental hospital this week. It also killed two liberal myths.

The Washington Times reports the deadly details:

Twenty-six patients at Cuba’s largest hospital for the mentally ill died this week during a cold snap, the government said Friday.

Human rights leaders cited negligence and a lack of resources as factors in the deaths, and the Health Ministry launched an investigation that it said could lead to criminal proceedings.

A Health Ministry communique read on state television blamed “prolonged low temperatures that fell to 38 degrees Fahrenheit (4 Celsius) in Boyeros,” the neighborhood where Havana’s Psychiatric Hospital is located.

It said most of the deaths were from natural causes such as old age, respiratory infections and complications from chronic diseases including cancer and cardiovascular problems.

The statement came in response to reports from the independent Cuban Commission on Human Rights that at least 24 mental patients died of hypothermia this week, and that the hospital did not do enough to protect them from the cold because of problems such as faulty windows.

It’s so sad when you lose those you hold most dear. Not the patients, the liberal myths.

Liberal Myth #1 – The bizarre claim that Cuba’s healthcare system is superior to America’s. When was the last time you read a story about mental patients dying of hypothermia in the United States, even in climates far colder than Cuba’s?

Liberal Myth #2 – Global warming. For god’s sake, man, if people are freezing to death in tropical climes like Cuba, global warming is the least of our worries.

President Obama doesn’t think you’re quick enough to figure out which shell the pea is under

Like a common street hustler, President Obama is taking the suckers’ money in a blatant shell game. Unfortunately, you’re one of the suckers.

Like a common street hustler, President Obama is taking the suckers’ money in a blatant shell game. Unfortunately, you’re one of the suckers.

National Review reports the news of the administration’s latest scam:

Last spring, President Obama proposed $11.3 billion worth of discretionary spending cuts. Today’s Washington Times notes that Congress accepted $6.9 billion worth of these cuts, a 61 percent success rate.

In a $3.6 trillion federal budget, that comes to just 0.2 percent of the federal budget.

But there is a larger issue: 100 percent of the savings from these “cuts” were automatically shifted into new spending. Total federal spending was not reduced by one dollar.

Here’s why: By the time President Obama released his proposed cuts, Congress and the White House already agreed on a top-line figure of $1,091 billion in discretionary spending. The only remaining issue was how to divvy up the funds. So Congress merely took $6.9 billion from the targeted programs, and shifted that money to other programs. At the end of the year, total discretionary spending remained at exactly $1,091 billion.

Furthermore, nearly all of the spending cuts proposed by the president and accepted by Congress were in defense. Thus, all they did was shift billions of dollars from defense programs to domestic programs. It’s like an indebted family cutting its grocery budget, but then putting all the savings into entertainment.

No longer content with the title Greatest President In History, Barack Obama is now The Greatest Grifter in History.

Congratulations on the promotion.

In Chinese, 媒介是像應該踢的狼 means “the media is like a wolf that should be kicked”

Ahhh, the poetry of the Chinese language. Hell, here in America, we’d just say I hate the media. And here’s another reason why.

"Climate change," President Obama said, "is like a fire breathing dragon that threatens the global village." "公牛狗屎," replied the Chinese Premier.

Ahhh, the poetry of the Chinese language. Hell, here in America, we’d just say I hate the media. And here’s another reason why.

Newsweek, that venerable publication devoted to defending traditonal American ideals (In English, that’s what’s known as a joke. In Chinese, it’s 笑话)…anyway, Newsweek recently published an article entitled “Why China and the U.S. Will Only Get Closer.”

Please allow us to summarize the article: Blah, blah, blah, China’s cool now and the US isn’t blah, blah, blah.

The comrade journalist who wrote the article says, “Having grown accustomed to dominance, many Americans now find China’s boom unsettling. After all, two states like this are historically expected to clash.”

But the article says this need not necessarily be our fate. “China need not become an adversary.” How can we avoid it, Newsweek? How? Simple. “Americans must come to terms with the reality that their own vaunted democratic system has often failed them.”

The article ends by revealing the reason the United States and China must become closer. It’s climate change. Of course. We should have known that Newsweek would somehow pin the future of democracy to the global warming scam.

公牛狗屎

That’s how you say bullshit in Chinese.
