Then, when she realizes it’s a losing argument, she just gives up and walks away.

But she topped herself when she said of Republican Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann, “She’s against children.”
Bachmann is regarded as one of the leading advocates for foster and adopted children in Congress. She and her husband have not only raised five children of their own, they’ve taken in 23 foster kids over the years.

During the last 14 days the White House and President Obama have gone on the attack, and their strategy is pretty simple: “Let’s acknowledge the voter anger and make sure it gets funneled toward something else.” Thus we have seen political attacks on just about everyone–and everything–out there. The problem, though, is that voters aren’t angry with Karl Rove, John Boehner, the Chamber of Commerce or even the “undisclosed financing” of elections. Voters are angry about the economy and they have two devastating perceptions of this administration: voters think it is incompetent and that it has overreached over the past two years.
An even bigger problem for the White House is that voters may have already tuned the President out; virtually every possible metric used to evaluate the outcome of the midterm elections suggest a massive GOP victory. So let’s just come out and say it: there is no reason to think that Republicans will do any worse than 1994 (when they picked up 54 seats) and there is plenty of data to suggest that it will, in fact, be a better year for the GOP. Our projection–based on all current available data–is that the GOP will gain between 60 and 70 House seats in November.
Sixty to seventy? We’d say the Huffington Post is starting to sound conservative.
Democrats aren’t running on the administration’s accomplishments like health-care and financial-regulatory overhaul and the stimulus because “it’s just too hard to explain,” Biden said.
Joe Biden explains that it's all just too difficult to explain
No shit, Joe, no shit. We understand exactly what you mean.
Democrats aren’t running on the administration’s accomplishments like health-care and financial-regulatory overhaul and the stimulus because “it’s just too hard to explain,” Biden said. “It sort of a branding, I mean you know they kind of want the branding more at the front end.”
The branding was at the front end, Joe.
Remember “Hope and change.” Recall “The change you’ve been waiting for.” And don’t forget “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”
Unfortunately, those lines were where this administration’s accomplishments ended. And that’s why it’s tough to explain.
Now who wants to volunteer to explain that to the Vice President?
Here’s Congressman John Conyers (D-MI) telling the Democratic Socialists of America how much he and President Obama have in common with the socialist One Nation group.
The radical rally otherwise known as One Nation really is the gift that just keeps giving. Seems like another interesting new video leaks out every day.
For example, here’s Congressman John Conyers (D-MI) telling the Democratic Socialists of America how much he and President Obama have in common with the group.
But whatever you do, don’t call President Obama a socialist. That would be racist no matter how much he has in common with the Democratic Socialists.
After all his talk about “shovel ready jobs,” President Obama admitted yesterday that there really never were any shovel ready projects nor any shovel ready jobs. Charles Krauthammer lays it all out.
After all his talk about “shovel ready jobs,” President Obama admitted yesterday that there really never were any shovel ready projects nor any shovel ready jobs.
Does that surprise you? It shouldn’t. We’re willing to bet this guy’s never owned a shovel. He’s never had a real job. And he certainly wasn’t ready for the job he has now.
Charles Krauthammer lays it all out:
“Well, that is quite an admission. You know, a year and a half and half a trillion dollars later he says these things that I talked about endlessly don’t exist. It’s not actually surprising that he doesn’t know what a shovel ready project is. Having never worked in the private sector he wouldn’t be sure what a project is and there isn’t a lot of shoveling at Harvard Law School.” So I can understand that this was one of the greatest “Oops” in American history. And it’s going to be hard for a democrat when you show one tape against another. They’re goint to say, “So you supported a trillion dollars offered by a president who didn’t even know that this stuff that this stuff is not going to happen?”
NOTE: Although Barack Obama has never owned a shovel, he’s still managed to dig himself a pretty big hole in the last 21 months.
The Saudi-funded Muslim propaganda machine is now writing textbooks for American public schools. And there’s no telling what your kids might be learning.
Columbus? Never heard of him. Jesus? A nice, young Palestinian boy. The Enlightenment, this ain’t.
The Saudi-funded Muslim propaganda machine is now writing textbooks for American public schools. And there’s no telling what your kids might be learning.
CNB.com has the disturbing details:
Saudi-funded textbooks being used in America’s K-12 classrooms. Teaching, among other things, that Jesus was a “Palestinian,” the state of Israel never existed, and that the Muslims discovered America before Columbus. Some native-American chiefs had Muslim names. At this rate, perhaps even Saudi grade-school textbooks, complete with jihadi and dhimmi declarations, will come to instruct American school-children.
For instance, did you know that Muslims discovered America? Or that Jerusalem is an Arab city? That’s just some of the “history” that students in America’s K-12 classrooms have been taught in recent years–with the help of taxpayer money.
A new report by the non-profit Institute for Jewish and Community Research finds that American high school and elementary textbooks contain countless inaccuracies about Christianity, Judaism, Israel and the Middle East.
The Institute examined 28 of the most widely-used history, geography and social studies textbooks in America. It found at least 500 errors.
One book ignored the Jewish roots of Christianity, saying the faith was founded by a “young Palestinian” named Jesus.
Another stated as fact that the Koran was revealed to Mohammed from God.
Yet another said ancient Jewish civilization contributed “very little” to to the arts and sciences.
For all we know, they also teach that there are 57 states.
Consider this the ultimate expression of trouble in Democratville. One Democrat is now bragging about how much he votes with the Republicans.
Consider this the ultimate expression of trouble in Democratville. One Democrat is now bragging about how much he votes with the Republicans.
Politico has the story and we have the commercial:
One Democrat running for re-election for a conservative seat is bragging about his loyalty — to John Boehner.
“Bill Owens didn’t vote with Nancy Pelosi 93% of the time,” the narrator says, responding to an attack ad from his Republican rival in a conservative Upstate New York district. “He voted with the Republican leader 63% of the time.”
Obama? Never heard of him. Pelosi? That name sounds vaguely familiar. Reid? Reid who?

The 2010 Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded to three guys who still have jobs
Not to be outdone by by last year’s spectacle of the Obama Peace Prize, the Nobel Committee has committed yet another excellent selection.
As reported by CNN Money:
Three economists will share the 2010 Nobel Prize for their work on how government policy affects unemployment, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced on Monday.
The Nobel Prize went to Peter Diamond of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass.; Dale Mortensen of Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.; and Christopher Pissarides of the London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
The three received the prize for research on how economic policy affects the job market. Their theories “help us understand the ways in which unemployment, job vacancies, and wages are affected by regulation and economic policy,” said the academy in a statement.
You will have to forgive our sub Nobel Laureate level intelligence for just a moment. But it seems that in a world in which rabid unemployment is the scourge of the age, the last thing anyone should be do is reward employment experts.
In fact, it might not be such a bad idea to suspend the prize altogether until every mainstream economist alive circa 2008 has either retired or moved onto that great Ivory Think Tank in the Sky.

George Soros didn’t get to be a multi-billionaire by making stupid investments. And that’s the category Democrats fall into these days.
The NY Times reports:
Mr. Soros, a champion of liberal causes, has been directing his money to groups that work on health care and the environment, rather than electoral politics. Asked if the prospect of Republican control of one or both houses of Congress concerned him, he said: “It does, because I think they are pushing the wrong policies, but I’m not in a position to stop it. I don’t believe in standing in the way of an avalanche.”
George Soros have been the inspiration for Dr. Evil, but no one ever accused him of being the inspiration for Dr. Stupid.
Consider this video clip to be Soros’ prediction for November 2. It’s commmmming, Democrats.

You, too, can glorify the life of a mass murderer
Humberto Fontova recalls the reality of Che’s reign of terror at Townhall.com:
“When you saw the beaming look on Che’s face as the victims were tied to the stake and blasted apart by the firing squad,” said a former Cuban political prisoner Roberto Martin-Perez, to your humble servant here, “you saw there was something seriously, seriously wrong with Che Guevara.” As commander of the La Cabana execution yard, Che often shattered the skull of the condemned man (or boy) by firing the coup de grace himself. When other duties tore him away from his beloved execution yard, he consoled himself by viewing the slaughter. Che’s second-story office in Havana’s La Cabana prison had a section of wall torn out so he could watch his darling firing-squads at work.
Even as a youth, Ernesto Guevara’s writings revealed a serious mental illness. “My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any vencido that falls in my hands!” This passage is from Ernesto Guevara’s famous Motorcycle Diaries, though Robert Redford somehow overlooked it while directing his heart-warming movie….
The one genuine accomplishment in Che Guevara’s life was the mass-murder of defenseless men and boys. Under his own gun dozens died. Under his orders thousands crumpled. At everything else Che Guevara failed abysmally, even comically.

New MSNBC host Lawrence and South Carolina Senate Candidate Alvin Greene. Dumb and dumber. Literally.
O’Donnell apparently thought it would be funny to interview Greene and prepared a series of stupid questions like “Why was your high school nickname ‘Turtle?’”
But Greene one-upped him in the stupid department by answering every question with the same answer: “Jim DeMint started the recession.”
This, of course, offended O’Donnell, because everyone at MSNBC knows that George Bush started the recession. And the War in Iraq. And the Great Depression. And the Boxer Rebellion.

How do you know when the Democrats’ entire “Chamber of Commerce is doing something illegal” meme is blowing up in their faces?
When even the über liberal New York Times condemns the commercial that makes the claim:
A closer examination shows that there is little evidence that what the chamber does in collecting overseas dues is improper or even unusual, according to both liberal and conservative election-law lawyers and campaign finance documents.
In fact, the controversy over the Chamber of Commerce financing may say more about the Washington spin cycle — where an Internet blog posting can be quickly picked up by like-minded groups and become political fodder for the president himself — than it does about the vagaries of campaign finance.
Coming up next: Little old ladies and puppies are collecting illegal foreign money to steal our democracy.
In lieu of making a donation to the Levi Johnston campaign, we did the next best thing: We ran an ad in today’s Wasilla Frontiersman newspaper telling the town’s residents why they should support this All-American Every Boy.
When we heard that Levi Johnston was running for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, we cheered. We consider his campaign proof that anyone – absolutely anyone – can succeed in America.

We did it because we’re warmhearted, caring people.
So why are we getting all these angry emails?

Got bad credit? Looking a low cost credit card? No problem. Just move to Venezuela and get one from Hugo Chavez.
Got bad credit? Looking a low cost credit card? No problem. Just move to Venezuela and get one from Hugo Chavez.
The HugoCard. Don't leave home without it.
The Associated Press details Hugo’s credit card offer:
Going into Sunday’s legislative elections, President Hugo Chavez pitched his candidates like a salesman, promising Venezuelans he will give them low-interest credit cards and discounted appliances from washing machines to TV sets.
Chavez turned to his long successful populist appeals seeking to woo voters more concerned with their pocketbooks than with his socialist politics. He is trying to hold off a determined challenge by the opposition, which is intent on breaking Chavez’s stranglehold on the National Assembly for the first time in his presidency.
“I want us to win the elections by knockout!” Chavez told cheering supporters during one of his final campaign rallies, standing amid allied candidates dressed in his party’s signature red.
… Apparently seeking to turn up the heat in the campaign, Chavez has launched a program to provide Venezuelans with special, low-interest credit cards that can be used to shop at state-run stores and for travel, calling it the “Good Life Card.”
The only problem with this technique of getting rid of your credit card debt is that you end up owing money to Hugo Chavez.
And we guarantee that even the pushiest American debt collector is a pussycat compared to Hugo.
Nancy Pelosi said, “It is the biggest bang for the buck when you do food stamps and unemployment insurance.” Media Matters, of course, got angry when Fox News dared to question the Speaker.
Nancy Pelosi said, “It is the biggest bang for the buck when you do food stamps and unemployment insurance.” And she actually sounded as if she believed it.
Media Matters, of course, got angry when Fox News dared to question the Speaker. They brought out the big guns, all of the “experts” who agreed with Pelosi – both of them.
Their first expert, CBO Director Douglas Elmendorf, said that “… transfers to persons (for example, unemployment insurance and nutrition assistance) would … have a significant impact on GDP.” He added, “Because a large amount of such spending can occur quickly.”
This is, of course, the same CBO that claimed ObamaCare would save us gazillions.
Expert #2, economist Mark Zandi, who advised John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, stated that, “Extending food stamps are [sic] the most effective ways to prime the economy’s pump.”
Strangely enough, until this quote surfaced, Media Matters had always considered anyone who worked on McCain’s presidential bid to be criminally insane.
Economic experts from the Obama administration could not be found for comment as most of them have already deserted the sinking ship which is this administration.
Media Matters, as usual, misses the mark by a mile. It’s not that anyone hates the unemployed, but rather the fact that America hates the fact that we have so damn many unemployed when we were promised that we would have a rate no higher than 8% if would just listen to and obey the Great and Powerful Wizard of the White House.
This may explain why people aren’t really listening to the White House anymore. And why they surely aren’t listening to Media Matters, either.

On Sunday, Barack Obama condemned the United States Chamber of Commerce as evil purveyors of foreign campaign money. On Monday, he praised the same organization as accomplices in his socialist scheme for America.
“My daughter. My sister. My daughter. My sister. My daughter and my sister.”
Barack Obama’s as conflicted as Faye Dunaway in Chinatown.

OK, maybe those weren’t his exact words, but that’s the bottom line.
President Barack Obama spoke in front of 10,000 people in Philadelphia on Sunday and suddenly discovered his inner black man and pandered to a black audience by talking about “black folks” and sounding more like Jim from Huckleberry Finn than the Harvard educated attorney he really is.
President Barack Obama spoke in front of 10,000 people in Philadelphia on Sunday and suddenly discovered his inner black man.
“They said he was a p’fessor in a college, and could talk all kinds of languages, and knowed everything. And that ain’t the wust. They said he could VOTE when he was at home. Well, that let me out. Thinks I, what is the country a-coming to? It was ‘lection day, and I was just about to go and vote myself if I warn’t too drunk to get there…”
Oh, no. What were we thinking? That was Jim from Huckleberry Finn, not President Obama.
But in our defense, it’s tough to tell the difference when Obama starts pandering to a black audience by talking about “black folks” and sounding more like Jim than the Harvard educated attorney he really is.
An Indianapolis cookie shop could be evicted from its longtime location for refusing a special order from a college homosexual group for gay cookies.
A little clarification may be in order: When we say gay cookies, we don’t mean little gingerbread men holding hands and demanding the right to have a gingerbread preacher join them in holy matrimony.
Three cookies for a dollar. That's what we call a homosexual value.
Let’s just let OneNewsNow explain the details:
An Indianapolis cookie shop could be evicted from its longtime location for refusing a special order from a college homosexual group.
The bakery “Just Cookies” has operated in a city-owned market for over 20 years. The president of the board that oversees the market told the Indianapolis Star that he would “hate to lose them” as a tenant — but that could very well happen because owner David Stockton took a moral stand and did not want to endorse homosexual activity.
Controversy arose this week after the owners of the bakery cited moral objections to a special-order request for rainbow-decorated cookies for next week’s “National Coming Out Day” observance at a nearby university campus. Stockton told the caller he did not feel comfortable in supporting homosexual values, especially because it would not set a good example for his two daughters.
Micah Clark of the American Family Association of Indiana says there are reports the city might evict Stockton, citing a local “anti-discrimination” statute.
Gay cookies. Add a little extra sugar and a pinch of spice and the next thing you know, Barney Frank is your best customer.

Anyone still holding out hope that the world is in perilous trouble due to Global Warming, Big Business, and Carbon Emissions need only to read this article from Reuters titled “No carbon market boom without U.S.: delegates.”
If you breathe, they'll tax it.
According to the article:
“The global carbon market will not be worth $1-2 trillion a year by 2020 if the United States does not speed up efforts for a federal emissions trading scheme, delegates warned at a carbon conference in London on Monday.
“There will be, I’m afraid, no real expansion of the carbon markets to their global potential without movement in the U.S.,” said Henry Derwent, chief executive and president of the International Emissions Trading Association.
“Until someone explains to them (the U.S.) how wrong they are, we will be stuck with a comfortable living in the European market but nothing, nothing near the potential we should be earning,” he added. (emphasis ours)
Poor guy. The Americans won’t go along with the lie, so he’s stuck with making a comfortable living – not the bank he “should” be earning.
Consider it definitive proof once and for all that Global Warming/Climate Change/Man-Made Climate Disruption is nothing more than what you always knew it was – a tax on the air we breathe conceived because they’d already taxed everything else.
That’s kind of brilliant if you really think about it. Too bad the “science” had to get in the way.
From 1985 to 1988 Barack Obama ran something called the Developing Communities Project in Chicago, and he increased his organization’s number of employees by 1200%, grew its budget by 471% and then he took eight weeks vacation.
Critics often complain that President Obama had never run anything before he became President. But that’s not true. Back in his community organizing days, from 1985 to 1988 he ran something called the Developing Communities Project in Chicago.
Wikipedia says “During his three years as the DCP’s director, its staff grew from one to thirteen and its annual budget grew from US$70,000 … to US$400,000….”
The article also says, “In mid-1988, he traveled for the first time in Europe for three weeks and then for five weeks in Kenya, where he met many of his paternal relatives for the first time.”
So in three years, he increased his organization’s number of employees by 1200%, grew its budget by 471% and then he took eight weeks vacation.

The New York Times has news of new nomenclature:
NBC Universal and Microsoft, the parents of MSNBC.com, are holding high-level talks about a name change, something that could be a risky endeavor for the third most popular news Web site in the United States.
The two parents have determined that the brand of MSNBC.com, a strictly objective news Web site, is widely confused with MSNBC, the cable channel that has taken a strongly liberal bent in recent years, according to internal memorandums obtained by The New York Times this week.
Charlie Tillinghast, MSNBC.com’s president, wrote in a memo last March, “Both strategies are fine, but naming them the same thing is brand insanity.” The channel and Web site are already separate companies.
Alluding to the challenge that the two companies face in conceiving a brand-new news identity, MSNBC.com this week pushed back a board meeting on the topic by three weeks. “Consensus in this case is a tall order,” Mr. Tillinghast wrote in a message to employees Tuesday.
Isn’t this backwards? Shouldn’t the failing cable news network that made the brand name so toxic be the one that changes its name and gets a new url?
How about lyingsacksofshit.com. Is that available?

In the last couple of year, they’ve drawn $69 million in California welfare payments while out of state. Hell, out of state wouldn’t even be so bad if they weren’t pissing your money away in casinos and on cruises and shopping sprees.
The day the welfare checks arrive. Or as it's known in California, "Party time, baby!"
The Los Angeles Times has the disturbing details:
Las Vegas tops the list with $11.8 million spent at casinos or taken from ATMs, but transactions in Hawaii, Miami, Guam and elsewhere also raise questions. Officials say budget cuts hinder investigations.
More than $69 million in California welfare money, meant to help the needy pay their rent and clothe their children, has been spent or withdrawn outside the state in recent years, including millions in Las Vegas, hundreds of thousands in Hawaii and thousands on cruise ships sailing from Miami.
State-issued aid cards have been used at hotels, shops, restaurants, ATMs and other places in 49 other states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam, according to data obtained by The Times from the California Department of Social Services. Las Vegas drew $11.8 million of the cash benefits, far more than any other destination. The money was accessed from January 2007 through May 2010.
Free credit cards. Free money. Free cruises. Free hotel rooms. Free shopping. All paid for by the suckers formerly known as taxpayers.
