Misery loves company, especially gay company

Providing a reality check, Radical Women spokeswoman Alison Thorne told the Melbourne rally that marriage was an oppressive institution designed to condemn women to lives of slavery, but same-sex couples should nevertheless be equally entitled to it.

alison-thorneThis news just in from Australia:

“Providing a reality check, Radical Women spokeswoman Alison Thorne told the Melbourne rally that marriage was an oppressive institution designed to condemn women to lives of slavery, but same-sex couples should nevertheless be equally entitled to it.”

The organization’s new slogan is, “We’re here. We’re queer. We’re demand equal misery.”

(Note: The above comment was a cheap joke certainly not aimed at our lovely and talented wives with whom we are incredibly happy and whom we fear tremendously.)

This is awkward: Lesbian “Person of the Year” goes straight, has baby

Back in 2005, a leading gay publication called The Advocate named Kerry Pacer its “Person of the Year.” She has gone straight and had a baby.

Kerry Pacer, former lesbian and current non-lesbian appears to be channeling actress Anne Heche

Now this is what you call an inconvenient truth. A very inconvenient truth.

Back in 2005, a leading gay publication called The Advocate named Kerry Pacer its “Person of the Year.”

Pacer, who was just 17 at the time, was featured on the cover of the magazine’s December issue. She was awarded the prestigious honor for her valiant struggle for a “gay-straight alliance” while she attended White County High School in Cleveland, Georgia.

Sad to say, Pacer has now discovered she’s straight. The Washington Blade, another gay publication, reports:

“…today she lives with her boyfriend, a construction worker, and their baby daughter, Marley, who turns 1 year old on Saturday.

“Well, she’s the most beautiful blue-eyed girl in the world and everybody tells me that so I’m not just being biased, I swear,” Pacer said with a laugh.

“I love every minute of motherhood. It’s been a very big challenge, however I love it. I’ve just been trying to work and go to school and take care of my family,” she said.

Oh, those crazy kids. You just never know what they’re going to do next. Nor who.

HuffPo writer claims gays are being beheaded
in the American South

OK, so maybe Huffington Post writer Johann Hari didn’t exactly say gays were being beheaded in the Deep South, but that’s exactly what he implied by saying that the Deep South one of the most homophobic places on Earth.

State sanctioned execution of homosexuals in <s>Alabama</s> <s>Mississippi</s> Iran
State sanctioned execution of homosexuals in Alabama Mississippi Iran

OK, so maybe Huffington Post writer Johann Hari didn’t exactly say gays were being beheaded in the Deep South, but that’s exactly what he implied by saying that the Deep South one of the most homophobic places on Earth.

This bizarre assertion came in an article that defended Bruno, Sacha Baron Cohen’s movie about a gay Austrian fashion designer:

The joke isn’t on gay people; it’s on the bigots who, when confronted with this creation, believe he is real, and typical of gays. Baron Cohen literally risked his life to make the point. He went to some of the most homophobic places on earth — the refugee camps of the Middle East, and the Deep South of the US — and behaved as a gargoyle drawn from the subconscious fears of homophobes.

There you have it. Homophobia is as bad in the American South as it is in the Middle East. Except for one thing. Unless we’re mistaken, they’re only comparable in the twisted mind of Johann Hari.

Hari should read what the Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association says about homosexuality in Islamic countries:

Homosexuality is illegal in most Muslim countries and punishable by death in several. Amnesty International, Homan (an exiled Iranian group) and other human rights groups regularly report shocking abuses and crimes against homosexuals. For example, in April 2001, nine gay men were given prison terms of 4 to 5 years with 2400 to 2600 lashes in Saudi Arabia. Abdul Sami (18) and Bismillah (22) were killed by the Taliban by having a wall toppled on them in 1998. In 2001, 52 men were arrested following a party on a river boat and charged with “immoral behaviour” and “contempt of religion” in Egypt (a supposedly “moderate” Islamic country). Many were given prison sentences with hard labour.

Iran has been particularly enthusiastic in its persecution of homosexuals. Estimates of the numbers of gay and lesbian people this evil regime has murdered range from hundreds to thousands but, as many executions are not public, and bereaved families may cover up the reasons out of shame, the higher estimates are plausible. Those cases that have been publicised include three gay men and two lesbians beheaded in January 1990, and 70 people executed in the early 1980s for trying to set up a lesbian and gay organisation. The Iranian Chief Justice, Morteza Moghtadai, justified the 1990 beheadings by saying, “The religious punishment for the despicable act of homosexuality is death for both parties.” False, trumped-up charges of homosexuality are also used to suppress political opponents, as happened to Dr Ali Mozaffarian, a Sunni Muslim leader executed in Shiraz in 1992.

Now we readily admit that we can’t read every newspaper in the world every day. So we may have missed the stories about gays being beheaded in Alabama and lesbians sentenced to hard labor in Mississippi.

Or maybe there’s another possibility:

Perhaps the HuffPo writer is as prejudiced against Southerners as he claims Southerners are against homosexuals.

Pointy-headed researchers accuse children’s films of perpetuating “heteronormativity”

A University of Michigan study says love stories told in G-rated children’s films (such as Disney’s Little Mermaid) are responsible for what they label “heteronormativity.” Real world translation: Not enough gay sex.

Perhaps the researchers be happier if kids movies had a little inter-species lesbian sex
Perhaps the researchers be happier if kids movies had a little inter-species lesbian sex

Hold onto your hats. You’re not going to believe this one.

A University of Michigan study says love stories told in G-rated children’s films (such as Disney’s Little Mermaid) are responsible for what they label “heteronormativity.”

Real world translation: Not enough gay sex.

“Despite the assumption that children’s media are free of sexual content, our analyses suggest that these media depict a rich and pervasive heterosexual landscape,” said a report in Gender & Society, a publication of the Sociologists for Women in Society.

Researchers looked at the most successful G-rated movies between 1990-2005 and concluded that kids’ films “construct heterosexuality” via “depictions of hetero-romantic love as exceptional, powerful, transformative, and magical,” and “depictions of interactions between gendered bodies in which the sexiness of feminine characters is subjected to the gaze of masculine characters.”

“Characters in love are surrounded by music, flowers, candles, magic, fire, balloons, fancy dresses, dim lights, dancing and elaborate dinners,” the report noted. “Fireflies, butterflies, sunsets, wind and the beauty and power of nature often provide the setting for – and a link to the naturalness of – hetero-romantic love.”

We say, bravo, you brave researchers. That’s what’s wrong with America’s kids. They need more gay sex in their cartoons! More group sex! More bestiality!

And for god’s sake, man, somebody put some pants on that perverted Donald Duck.

We can’t wait for this movie. Sacha Baron Cohen is crude and rude, blasphemous and hilarious. Here’s a red carpet interview with Bruno at the star studded London premiere. His ability to ad lib in character is remarkable.

“What I’m trying to undo tonight,” Bruno says, “is the badness done by that film ‘Milk’ which has really set the gay community back 20 years with that terrible stereotype.”

Of course, he says it while prancing around in leather hotpants and a Beefeater hat.

How did we miss this: Obama declares June “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month”

June is National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month. July is National Black Midget Elf Pride Month.
June is National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month. July is National Black Midget Elf Month.

Remember when Presidents announced things like “National Mom and Apple Pie Month” and “National Flag Month”? Well, those days are gone.

President Obama has proudly, but oh-so-quietly declared June “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month.”

“In a difficult-to-find declaration posted on the White House Web site on June 1,” the Christian Post notes, “Obama praised LGBT Americans for their continual ‘great and lasting contributions’ that ‘strengthen the fabric of American society.’”

“Obama follows in the footsteps of former President Bill Clinton,” the Post continues, “who also issued a similar proclamation in 1999 and 2000. But Clinton did not use the term transgender in his version. He did, however, reference bisexuals. President George W. Bush, in contrast, did not issue any LGBT proclamation during his eight years in office.”

What about black midgets elves? What about left-handed native Eskimo barbers? What about cross-eyed albino terrorists?

For god’s sake, President Obama, do the right thing and give these oppressed minorities the national months they so richly deserve.

We’re here! We’re queer! We’re in kindergarten?

"The New Girl" introduces kindergarten children to the concept of homosexuality.
"The New Girl" introduces kindergarten children to the concept of homosexuality.

Brace yourself, Buckeroo. The Alameda County Board of Education has approved a mandatory gay education program for children from kindergarten through fifth grade.

The program is officially titled “LGBT Lesson #9. It’s probably unnecessary to mention that the school district is in California.

Beginning next year, Alameda’s innocent tykes will begin learning about “tolerance” for the gay lifestyle. Unbelievably, parents cannot opt out of lessons. Not even if the program violates their religious beliefs.

“We are not telling anyone what to think,” school district trustee Tracy Jensen said with a completely straight face. “We are letting children know that gay people exist and they deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of whether or not you believe that homosexuality is acceptable.”

"Tango Makes Three," the perfect book to educate second graders about two daddies.
"Tango Makes Three," the perfect book to educate second graders about two daddies.

“Five year old kids aren’t ready to think on their own about sexuality, and their families’ values will be dismissed,” Karen England criticized. “That’s not an education in critical thinking. It’s social activism.”

Kindergarten kids will be read a book called “The New Girl…And Me.” It’s about a new girl who makes friends with another girl.

First graders will read a book called “Who Is In A Family?” which explores alternate types of families. “Robin’s family,” the book says “is made up of her dad, Clifford, her dad’s partner, Henry, and Robin’s cat, Sassy.”

Second graders will tackle “And Tango Makes Three,” a book about two gay penguins that raise  a chick named Tango. The kids will learn that Roy and Silo are “a little bit different” and that “Tango was the very first penguin in the zoo to have two daddies.”

Third graders will watch a film called “That’s a Family,” featuring some homosexual couples and some token traditional families.

We’re not sure what year the student will learn about Republicans lynching gay black men in the White House Rose Garden, but we wouldn’t be surprised if that’s part of the curriculum, too. Or soon will be.

Gallup survey can’t find one British Muslim who approves of homosexuality

It's much easier to be a Muslim cross-dresser because the burkha hides your adam's apple
It's much easier to be a Muslim cross-dresser because the burkha hides your adam's apple

Bad news for Elton John. According to a recent survey, British Muslims have zero tolerance for homosexual acts.

What’s that? They didn’t mean show business acts performed by homosexuals? Oh. Our apologies to Elton.

Gallup conducted telephone and face-to-face interviews with 500 Muslims in the UK, France and Germany.

“The most dramatic contrast was found in attitudes towards homosexuality,” the study said. “None of the 500 British Muslims interviewed believed that homosexual acts were morally acceptable.”

Remarkable. They couldn’t find a single British Muslim who would come out publicly in support of homosexuals. Not one.

“By comparison, 35% of French Muslims found homosexual acts to be acceptable,” it continued. “A question on pornography also elicited different reactions, with French and German Muslims more likely than British Muslims to believe that watching or reading pornography was morally acceptable.”

So much for the glories of multiculturalism. Like all liberal philosophies, it grossly over-promises and dramatically under-delivers. Kind of like an Elton John concert.

Outrageous California school district wants to battle “homophobia” in kindergarten

Dangerous little homophobes like this must be re-educated (photo credit: phineas h)
Dangerous little homophobes like this must be re-educated (photo credit: phineas h)

Back when we were in kindergarten our biggest concern was learning our ABCs. Apparently, the kids in Alameda, California have bigger (and stranger) things to worry about.

California’s Alameda Unified School District may institute a supplemental curriculum aimed at eradicating “homophobia” in kindergarten kids.

Let’s just pause for a moment while you digest that concept.

OK?

“Nowhere at anytime did it give any protection for children being bullied because of their faith, their religion, their size, their race, ethnicity,” said Brad Dacus, founder of the Pacific Justice Institute. “It is only going to give this special anti-bullying protection for homosexuals and transsexuals.”

Welcome to Alameda, California. Where the kids don’t know their ABCs, but do know their AC/DCs.

Quiznos makes up for homoerotic commercial with a “threesome” commercial

We recently published Try explaining this new Quiznos commercial to your children, featuring a Quiznos commercial featuring a deep-voiced gay oven that says, “Put it in me, Scott,” referring to the male Quiznos worker’s tasty, toasty torpedo. Judging from the reaction we and other sites showing the video received, it did not go over as well as they expected, well, maybe in the company we keep.

But, it looks like the Quiznos marketing department is paying attention. They’re making up for it with a new commercial that will appeal more to the horney heterosexual male, and the Hollywood female: It features two sexy women in bikinis fighting over that once again, tasty, toasty torpedo. It puts a just slightly different vision in one’s head than their last attempt.

What’s next we wonder? Are they going to start checking ID’s just to get into this steamy sandwich shop?

Will Obama allow open homosexuality in the military? Don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t really want to talk about it.

Don't ask retired Marine Gen. James Jones about "Don't ask, don't tell."

The guy who got elected President by convincing people he was a new kind of politician continues to demonstrate that he’s anything but.

Now he may be going back on his promise to eliminate the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

Here’s how CNSNews.com reports it:

“President Barack Obama’s national security advisor, retired Marine Gen. James Jones, said over the weekend that he ‘doesn’t know’ if the Obama administration is going to try to overturn the ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy that says homosexuality is incompatible with military service.”

George Stephanopoulos, host of This Week, asked if “Don’t ask, don’t tell” would be overturned.

“I don’t know,” Jones hemmed and hawed. “We’ll have to — the president has said that he is in favor of that. We’ll just wait — we’ll have to wait and see — as a result of the deliberations and as a result of the – in the months and weeks ahead. We have a lot on our plate right now. It has to be teed up at the right time so – to do this the right way.”

Translation: Maybe…maybe not…it’s complicated…don’t try to pin me down…Obama may…Obama may not…let’s talk about Iraq.

Wanda Sykes hypocritical TV commercial: “That’s so Limbaugh”

Irony is running rampant these days. Turns out unfunny comedienne Wanda Sykes, who insulted Rush Limbaugh at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, appeared in a recent “public service” commercial where she lectures teenage boys about how they shouldn’t use insulting language. She tells them to “Knock it off.”

After her humorless appearance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, maybe the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network should find itself a new role model who’s not so, well, insulting.

Just sayin’.

Benjamin Button prepares to celebrate "Old Guy With Young Chick Day"

Dustin Lance Black, the guy who wrote “Milk,” says he’s hopeful that California will name May 22 as Harvey Milk Day.

Here’s how WilshireAndWashington.com reported it:

After he testified on Wednesday before the state Senate’s education committee, the panel voted 7-2 to send the bill to the full Senate.

“We not only won the vote, but we actually got bipartisan support,” he said from San Francisco. “That was very exciting to me. I got a little misty eyed.”

Black told the committee of how, when he was 14 and struggling with being gay in a conservative environment, a theater director in the Bay area told him the story of Milk, the nation’s first openly gay elected official, and how he “stood up to prejudice and bigotry” and “lived openly as who he was.”

“The big point I made is I was one of the lucky kids,” Black said. “But why did it have to happen through luck?”

In a related move fully-supported by the Hollywood community, the writer of “Benjamin Button” proposed that “Old Guy With Young Chick Day” be declared in both May and December.

“Feds Will Spend $400,000 to Study Drinking and Sex Habits of Homosexuals in Argentina”

barney_frank_gay1 From CNSNews.com:

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is funding a study that will send researchers to six bars in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to interview both patrons and proprietors in an effort to discover what it is about those bars that may encourage homosexuals to drink and then have sex. The study, funded by U.S. taxpayers, began on Sept. 30, 2009 and runs through August 2010.

Hell, just spend a weekend at Barney Frank’s whorehouse townhouse and save the taxpayers about $399,000.

Keith Olbermann calls Perez Hilton “an intellectual titan” and “a civil rights leader”

Perez Hilton is “an intellectual titan” and a “civil rights leader” while Miss California Carrie Prejean is a vile human being for holding the same opinion as the majority of people in her state and in the nation.

Apparently, Olbermann got his fill of juvenile sex puns in the infamous tea bagging episode, and now decided that breast implants should become his next frontier of intellectual exploration.

We realize it sounds preposterous, but that’s precisely what liberal icon Keith Olbermann and his vile guest discuss. With great glee.

Apparently, Olbermann has given up any hope of attracting a larger audience and is now interested only in being as absurd as humanly possible.

Congratulations, Keith. It’s always nice to see someone achieve their goal.

Is Miss California being recruited by Fox News?
If not, why not?

Carrie Prejean, the California beauty who would have won the Miss USA title had it not been for the militant gay egomaniac Perez Hilton, showed up on Neil Cavuto’s Fox program on Tuesday.

She was fabulous. Warm. Gracious. Intelligent. Well-spoken. Amazingly, she appears to genuinely hold no ill will toward Perez Hilton. And she seems to have all the right points of view to qualify for a job at Fox News.

Here’s one brief exchange between Cavuto and Parjean.

Cavuto: (wondering how she would have answered the question posed to Miss Arizona) What do you think of the bailouts?
Carrie: I don’t feel that taxpayers’ money should be used for bailing out companies. I don’t. Do I agree that they should be used for welfare? No. I don’t.

But then Cavuto got the heart of the matter – Prejean’s plans for the future:

Cavuto: What do you want to be?
Carrie: You know, I’m not sure. I’m continuing my modeling career and I’m not sure how far that’s going to lead me. Maybe get into politics, you never know.
Cavuto: You know, half of ‘em want to get into TV news.
Carrie: No, I don’t think I want to get into that. Definitely not. Maybe motivational speaking.
Cavuto: (Whistles) Whew. Breathe a sigh of relief there. OK, good. Because I don’t need the competition. I just want to avoid that.
Carrie: I know.

Carrie Prejean. Smarter than Perez Hilton. More attractive than Paris Hilton. And vice versa, too.

Your tax dollars at work
Federally-funded group teaches teens how to tell if they’re gay

Sigh. Sometimes we just don’t know what to say. This is one of those times.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has given a non-profit group called “Advocates For Youth” more than $16,000,000 over the last 15 years. They run websites that help teens figure out if they are gay. They teach them how to come out of the closet. And they teach them how to get active in causes like abortion and sex education.

Does this really need to be done and does it really take $16 million dollars to do it?

How tough can this be? If you a guy and you like the pictures of naked guys, you’re gay. If you’re a woman and you like the pictures of women, you’re gay. If you see a picture of President Obama and you get a thrill up your leg, you’re Chris Matthews.

Case closed. Did we earn our $16,000,000?

128 gays sentenced to death in Iraq, executions set to begin next week

On July 19, 2005 two teenage boys, Mahmoud Asgari, 14, and Ayaz Marhoni, 16, were hanged in Iran for the crime of homosexual activity. It's okay though, it's their culture, not ours.
On July 19, 2005 two teenage boys, Mahmoud Asgari, 14, and Ayaz Marhoni, 16, were hanged in neighboring Iran for the crime of homosexual activity. It's okay though, it's their culture, not ours.

One would hope this story would sound a very loud alarm in Hollywood: More than 100 prisoners in Iraq face execution after reportedly being convicted of the crime of “being gay.”

According to Ali Hili of Iraqi-LGBT, Iraq will begin executing them in groups of 20 starting this week. The London-based group believes 128 executions are imminent. They’re asking the UK Government, human rights groups and the UN Human Rights Commission to step in and stop “this tragic miscarriage of justice.”

“In 2008, at least 285 people were sentenced to death, and at least 34 executed,” Mr Hili said in an interview with UK Gay News. “In 2007 at least 199 people were sentenced to death and 33 were executed, while in 2006 at least 65 people were put to death.

“The actual figures,” Mr. Hili added, “could be much higher as there are no official statistics for the number of prisoners facing execution.”

Uh-oh. Obama Justice Department nominee Harold Koh wants the United States to accept Sharia Law, which calls for shooting or beheading gays and drug addicts.

Who’s going to be left in Hollywood to make movies?

Source: InfidelsAreCool.com

You’re gay. You support multiculturalism. You just signed your own death warrant.

Why is it that liberals don’t understand about the goals of Muslim extremists?

Creeping Sharia reports this story from England, but it could just as easily have been from the United States:

Hate preacher Anjem Choudary launched a vitrolic attack on gays last week in which he said that they should be stoned to death.

The former lawyer, who lives on benefits, added that this would include gay business secretary Lord Peter Mandelson, who, under Sharia law, would first be educated about the “evils” of homosexuality then executed if he confessed to a same-sex relationship.

He was speaking at a press conference in London organised by Islamic extremists to justify a protest in Luton last week against soldiers returning home from Iraq.

Choudary said: “If a man likes another man, it can happen, but if you go on to fulfil your desire, if it is proved, then there is a punishment to follow. You don’t stone to death unless there are four eyewitnesses. It is a very stringent procedure.

“There are some people who are attracted to donkeys but that does not mean it is right.”

Sadly, it’s the people who are attracted to donkeys who are blind to this problem. And they day will come when they really need help from the people who are attracted to elephants.

Gays Ga-Ga Over Andrea Mitchell. No, seriously.

Andrea Mitchell feeling gay!
Andrea Mitchell feeling witty, oh so witty, oh so witty and pretty and gay

Believe it or not, veteran NBC News reporter Andrea Mitchell is an icon within the gay community.

(We’ll pause here for a moment to let you reflect upon that last sentence. Perhaps you may even want to re-read it for fear that you misread it the first time).

To repeat, veteran NBC News reporter Andrea Mitchell is an icon within the gay community.

“She’s the Golden Girls rolled into one,” one gay reporter noted. “The body of Sophia, the sassiness of Dorothy and probably a sex kitten like Blanche, and most likely from the Midwest like Rose.”

Pick whatever icons you want. But for god’s sake, guys, this woman is a thousand years old, has a grating voice, and her face looks like a pillow case that was left in the dryer too long.
