How long until you start following the latest Obama fashion trend?

The One grew one. What about you?
The One grew one. What about you?

When President Obama made his speech in Cairo last week, people noticed something new, something now, something oh-so-Obama.

We’re referring to the wispy, but stylish ‘stache gracing his upper lip. Admittedly, it wasn’t the manliest mustache and it would have been more at home on a 15-year old boy.

Nevertheless, a new wispy mustache craze is sweeping Washington, DC. Everyone wants one because everyone wants to be just like the Greatest President In History. The literati, the glitterati, the cognoscenti. What about you?

It won’t be long before you’re no one without one.

As you can see, the trend is spreading faster than Swine Flu and it’s a lot less deadly.

Next time Joe Biden puts his foot in his mouth, it will just call attention to the brand new Obama on his upper lip.

John Edwards needed a new image. Who could resist voting for a guy sporting a suave ‘stache like this?

Gay rights groups demand “disclaimer” be added to Bruno movie

Gay rights groups are spitting mad over “Bruno,” the new Sacha Baron Cohen movie that opens July 10. They want Cohen and Universal studios to add a disclaimer to the movie so that people will understand that it’s satire.

Bruno Movie Trailer

Gay rights groups are spitting mad over “Bruno,” the new Sacha Baron Cohen movie that opens July 10. They want Cohen and Universal studios to add a disclaimer to the movie so that people will understand that it’s satire.

Cohen became famous for “Borat,” a movie in which he used the crude but hilarious Borat character to expose people’s prejudices. The gay community is afraid audiences won’t understand that he’s using Bruno, the flamboyant gay fashion journalist title character, to do the same thing in the new movie.

“Ultimately,” Brook Barnes said, “the tension surrounding ‘Brüno’ boils down to the worry that certain viewers won’t understand that the joke is on them and will leave the multiplex with their homophobia validated.”

Brad Luna of the Human Rights Campaign said, “We strongly feel that Sacha Baron Cohen and Universal Pictures have a responsibility to remind the viewing public right there in the theater that this is intended to expose homophobia.”

We think a disclaimer is a great idea. How about this one:

“This film is intended to expose homophobia. If you don’t understand that, you are undoubtedly a homophobic conservative and probably racist, sexist, and ageist to boot. By the way, we’re really glad Carrie Prejean got fired as Miss California. And Barack Obama is The One. And Perez Hilton is The Other One. So there.”

Hollywood trade mag thinks Jon Voight is “outrageous” for calling Obama a “false prophet”

Variety, the long-time Hollywood trade publication, obviously believes Barack Obama is God because they’ve accused actor Jon Voight of being “outrageous” for calling him a “false prophet.” Even worse, they compared him to Janeane Garofalo. We don’t know which is worse.

It’s not really surprising that the same Malibu-meets-Babylon crew that embraces Scientology would also embrace another phony religion like Obamology.

Variety, the long-time Hollywood trade publication, obviously believes Barack Obama is God because they’ve accused actor Jon Voight of being “outrageous” for calling him a “false prophet.” Even worse, they compared him to Janeane Garofalo. We don’t know which is worse.

Variety’s WilshireAndWashington.com said, “Jon Voight earned praise from Republican leaders when he gave a speech at a Republican fundraiser this week calling the president a “false prophet,” a comment that matches in outrageousness anything the likes of Janeane Garofalo has said from the left.”

Voight’s got a lot of nerve calling The One a false prophet when everyone in Hollywood knows he is the true prophet, a god walking among mere mortals, a savior come to earth. Voight is sure to be condemned to burn forever in eternal damnation (which in Hollywood means no more leading roles, nothing but bit parts).

But to say “false prophet” is as outrageous as anything Janeane Garofalo has said? Apparently, the boys at Variety haven’t been paying real attention to Janeane for the last few years. For Variety’s edification, we proudly present this video clip of the lovely and talented Ms. Garofalo guesting with the equally lovely and talented Keith Olbermann.

Watching it may convince you that Obama is a true prophet, because you’re sure to say, “Oh, my god.”

Sick British website celebrates Maggie Thatcher’s “imminent death”

thatcher_t-shirt

Imagine if there were a website called “ReagansDead.com.” How outraged would you be?

That’s how fans of former British Prime Minister Maggie Thatcher feel about a website called “MaggiesDead.com.” The site is so sick that it actually brags that it’s “celebrating the imminent death of Margaret.”

The sick site features insulting videogames, toilet paper featuring Thatcher’s face, degrading T-shirts, and other derogatory merchandise.

We find it somewhat reassuring to know that the left is just as vile and angry in Great Britain as it is in the United States.

Barney Frank throws tizzy fit, storms out in the middle of CNBC interview

Sparks flew when CNBC’s Mark Haines tried to keep Barney Frank from misrepresenting what he had said. Poor ol’ Barney gets all hot and bothered, says, “This interview is over,” and walks off right in the middle of the interview.

The best part? Haines’ reaction: “Fine. Goodbye, sir.”

Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

New branch of pyschology to deal with eco-wackos

Sigmund Freud said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." Ecopsychologists say, "Sometimes a scam is just a scam."
Sigmund Freud said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." Ecopsychologists say, "Sometimes a scam is just a scam."

Looking for something special for the eco-wacko in your life? How about a gift certificate for a couple sessions with an ecopsychologist.

Yes, ecopsychology. It’s a new branch of psychology that helps you reduce your worries while while simultaneously helping reduce your carbon footprint. It helps you work on personal relationships and your relationship to nature.

In other words, you still tell the psychologist that your mother didn’t understand you. But now you can add that your elm tree doesn’t understand you, either.

“Global warming has added an extra layer of anxiety to what people are already feeling,” said Sandy Shulmire a practicing ecopsychologist.

Some psychologists think the whole thing is a giant load of bunkum.

“If the patient has generalized anxiety disorder, he or she is going to be worrying about almost everything,” noted Dr. Scott Lilienfeld, a psychology professor at Emory University.

Odds are you won’t be able to see your own doctor under Obama’s new healthcare plan, but will be able to see an ecopsychologist.

Or are we just being eco-paranoid?

Crisis, schmisis: President Obama takes time out to appear on another TV show

There are plenty of TV roles awaiting the President and he's likely to accept each and every one of them.
There are plenty of TV roles awaiting the President and he's likely to accept each and every one of them.

Barack Obama is on TV more than Jay Leno. And he’s funnier than…well…he’s really not all that funny.

Here’s how Wilshire & Washington describes it:

“The highlight of Stephen Colbert’s first night of shows from Iraq was the surprise taped appearance of President Obama, who ordered Commanding General Ray Odierno to cut the faux news host’s hair.”

“Last week, Obama appeared in a taped segment on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien,” in which the president deadpanned that the newly installed host would not qualify for a bailout if he failed.”

How can all these TV appearances be explained?

Could it be mere coincidence that the brother of Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is Ari Emanuel, the most powerful agent in Hollywood? He was the inspiration for the profane Ari Gold character on HBO’s Entourage. This guy’s Rolodex is immense and he has the power to place any client on any TV show or film merely by making a phone call.

Coming up next season: On NBC, President Obama plays Urkel’s long lost brother on a remake of Family Matters. On ABC, President Obama takes on the role made famous by Mr. T on a remake of the A-Team. It will be called “The USA-Team.” On CBS, President Obama will take over the foundering Evening News from no-longer perky Katie Couric. And on Fox, President Obama will become the fifth judge on American Idol. The format will change so that his vote is the only one that counts.

Voice of America puts Taliban on the air in Pakistan

"You're listening to the Taliban Hour. Let's go to the phones. Mahoud, you're on the air."
"You're listening to the Taliban Hour. Let's go to the phones. Mahoud, you're on the air."

This story isn’t from Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, but we wouldn’t blame you for thinking it might be: The Voice of America in Pakistan is giving air time to the Taliban.

Rep. Mark Kirk, an Illinois Republican, went nuts when he learned that the American taxpayer-funded service has been interviewing Pakistani Taliban leaders.

“The U.S. taxpayer should not be subsidizing free air-time for al-Qaeda terrorists and Taliban leaders,” Kirk said. “These broadcasts put the lives of American soldiers in danger and undermine the policies of the United States in Pakistan and Afghanistan.”

“Pshaw,” said VOA Director Danforth Austin. He said the VOA was simply seeking to increase it’s credibility.

That’s all well and good, but it turns out that the Taliban used the VOA interviews as part of its military strategy. They gave out false information in an attempt to lure the Pakistani army into a trap.

There’s one very valuable lesson to be learned from this story: Never expect brilliance from a guy named Danforth.

Schwarzenegger tries to scam the voters again with flat tax proposal

Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger personifies the sad decline of the state of California
Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger personifies the sad decline of the state of California

California’s sad excuse for a governor has come out in favor of a flat tax. Hah!

As the LA Times reports: “Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said today that he would like to see such ‘radical’ proposals come out of a commission now studying an overhaul of the state’s tax system. The governor told the editorial board of the Sacramento Bee that he hoped the commission would not be afraid to propose something like ‘a 15% straight tax.’”

“That’s the kind of radical, daring kind of a proposal that I want to see on the table so we can look at it and say, ‘Oh, let’s study this, maybe that is the way to go,’ ” Schwarzenegger said.

Don’t get us wrong. In theory, we love the flat tax concept: Everyone pays the same percentage of all income. Minimal or no deductions.

But here’s the problem with the Schwartzenegger’s scam. The current highest tax rate in California is 9.1% on taxable income over $91,000 (after all your deductions are considered), but under this bogus flat tax plan everyone would pay 15% with minimal or no deductions.

It’s going to be interesting to see how Schwartzenegger tries to convince the people of California that paying 15% with no deductions is better than paying 9.1% with deductions.

In the thoughts, if not the words of the Governor, “Keep your eye on the pea while I move these walnut shells around.”

When liberals attack liberals: Roseanne Barr vs Stephanie Miller

Well-known lunatic Roseanne Barr appeared on the almost listenerless Stephanie Miller Show on Monday and hilarity ensued.

The last thing Miller expected was to have Barr stray off the Obama Ranch. But stray she did. Miller was completely caught off guard by Barr’s comments.

Now don’t get us wrong – Barr didn’t go conservative. She complained that Obama hasn’t fulfilled his campaign promises, that he’s “the same as Bush,” and that the media is letting him skate.

But the highlight was when Barr told Miller, “C’mon, everybody’s on the Kool-Ade.”

Miller is almost speechless, which would be an improvement.

Nanny state run amok: Illinois passes bowling shoe regulations

As if determined to prove that there’s absolutely nothing into which they won’t stick their collective (and collectivist) noses, the Illinois Senate voted 51-4 last week to slap controls on bowling shoes.

Video: Barack Obama throws consecutive gutter balls during the presidential campaign. Blame it on the shoes.

According to the Springfield State Journal-Register, “The measure would require alley owners to clearly place signs near entrances and exits warning that bowling shoes are ‘specialized footwear’ meant only to be worn inside the alley. Users are cautioned that they could slip or stumble if they wear the shoes outside in rain, snow or other debris and then come back in.”

Senator Donne Trotter (D-Chicago) denied a suggestion by Senator Dale Righter (R-Mattoon) that he wanted bowlers to wear helmets (earlier this year, senators voted down another Trotter bill that would have mandated helmets for motorcycle riders).

Keep one thing in mind: when bowling shoes are outlawed, only outlaws will have bowling shoes.

NOW condemns Letterman, throws in gratuitous Limbaugh insult

File photo of David Letterman from about 20 years ago, back when he was funny
File photo of David Letterman from about 20 years ago, back when he was funny

Much to everyone’s surprise, and for the first time in support of a conservative woman in recent memory, the National Organization for Women condemned David Letterman’s ugly attack on Sarah Palin and her 14-year old daughter.

Here’s part of the statement from NOW’s website:

Letterman said “I recognize that these are ugly” jokes. NOW agrees. Comedians in search of a laugh should really know better than to snicker about men having sex with teenage girls (or young women) less than half their age.

The sexualization of girls and women in the media is reaching new lows these days — it is exploitative and has a negative effect on how all women and girls are perceived and how they view themselves. Letterman also joked about what he called Palin’s “slutty flight attendant look” — yet another example of how the media love to focus on a woman politician’s appearance, especially as it relates to her sexual appeal to men. Someone of Letterman’s stature, who appears on what used to be known as “the Tiffany Network” (CBS), should be above wallowing in the juvenile, sexist mud that other comedians and broadcasters seem to prefer.

So far, so good. But it was as if NOW just couldn’t bear chastising a liberal, so just for good measure they piled on Rush Limbaugh for something he said back in the early ‘90s:

On that point, it’s important to note that when Chelsea Clinton was 13 years old she was the target of numerous insults based on her appearance. Rush Limbaugh even referred to her as the “White House dog.” NOW hopes that all the conservatives who are fired up about sexism in the media lately will join us in calling out sexism when it is directed at women who aren’t professed conservatives.

Back at you, NOW. Might be nice if you guys came out in support of a conservative woman a little more often.

British politician’s hilarious denunciation of Prime Minister Gordon Brown

We need more politicians like Daniel Hannan, a British Conservative and Member of the European Parliament.

He spoke about Gordon Brown, the embattled British Prime Minister, the night that leftists were thrashed in elections all across Europe. Brown’s Labor Party finished a dismal fifth in the British elections. It’s as if the Democrats tallied fewer votes than Ralph Nader and the Peace and Freedom Party.

Hannan describes Brown’s dying administration like this, “It’s like the closing scenes of Terminator. However clearly you blow the thing up, the flames clear and then the claw comes out and you see the eyes going on and you see the creature pulling its way forward.”

But the highlight is when he quotes his three-year old son’s favorite author to demand that Gordon Brown resign now.

Why can’t there be just one American politician who speaks this bluntly, this clearly, this hilariously?

Another convert to the Church of the Holy Obama

It would seem there’s good reason that President Obama is referred to as “The One”. In another example of media pundits bravely and objectively speaking truth to power, MSNBC’s hard-hitting analysis of Obama’s Cairo speech began with Hardball’s Chris Matthews:

“I think the President’s speech yesterday was the reason we Americans elected him. It was grand. It was positive. Hopeful…But what I liked about the President’s speech in Cairo was that it showed a complete humility…”

Matthews then turned to Newsweek editor Evan Thomas and blurted out one of his grammatically-tortured questions, “Reagan and World War II and the sense of us as the good guys in the world, how are we doing?”

“…Reagan was all about America and you talked about it,” Newsweek Editor Even Thomas said. “Obama is ‘We are above that now. We’re not just parochial, we’re not just chauvinistic, we’re not just provincial.’ I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above the world, he’s sort of God.”

Chris Matthews was quick to agree that he, too, was a true believer.

Hey, wait a minute. Whatever happened to the “separation of church and state” that liberals are always carrying on about? Oh. Guess it all depends on the church.

Introducing the Hour of Ignorance: Joy Behar gets her own TV show

Joy Behar, the frequently factually-challenged co-host of The View, will be taking over the 9 p.m. time slot on HLN that’s currently home to a repeat of the Lou Dobbs Show.

Hard to believe, but HLN is so desperate for viewers that it’s stealing a page from MSNBC’s playbook by giving an opinionated, but idiotic liberal their own primetime program. This strategy would make more sense if MSNBC were a ratings success, but it’s shedding viewers faster than a snake can shed its skin (No, that was not a Keith Olbermann reference, although we understand why you may have interpreted it that way).

According to the New York Times, “HLN, the opinionated sister channel of CNN, hopes to raise its prime time ratings with the addition of Ms. Behar, who is well known for her comedic and sometimes controversial sensibility.”

The tentatively and cleverly titled “Joy Behar Show” will probably begin in September. She promised it would be “topical and fun.

Fun? Guaranteed it will be a lot more fun if this doofus diva has conservative guests like Ann Coulter or Bill O’Rielly, but as these embedded clips demonstrate, Behar quickly gets in over her head and resorts to name-calling when she’s challenged.

Come to think of it, if she’d just have Ann Coulter on every night, it could be a lot of fun.

Uh-oh. Reporter asks President tough question about Korea and Iran

The Scene: A joint press conference with French President Sarkozy.

The Reporter’s Question: “Iran and North Korea. What has the current policy – which is largely the same as ones of recent years – produced other than given time to North Korea and Iran to advance their nuclear ambitions?”

The President’s Answer: Almost three minutes of stuttering and stammering and reviewing the past in the most vague of terms in hopes that everyone would simply forget what the question was.

The Result: We’re not sure. We forgot the question.

Kim Jong-Il names youngest son as successor, because older son “had the warm heart of a girl”

His father has the height of a young girl and Kim Jong Chul has the heart of a young girl.
His father has the height of a young girl and Kim Jong Chul has the heart of a young girl.

When you claim to be 5’6” but wear booster shoes and a poofie pompadour hairdo to get there, you just don’t want your successor to have the warm heart of a girl. Especially if you’re the brutal dictator of North Korea. Especially if he’s your son.

Kim Jong Un, Crazy Kim Jong-Il’s youngest son, has been declared North Korea’s next beloved leader. He won out over his two older brothers.

To tell the truth, we really don’t care which nutty son succeeds the North Korean dictator. But the older brothers, Kim Jong Nam and Kim Jong Chul, seem far more interesting. Back in 2001 Japanese officials detained Nam when he tried to visit Tokyo Disneyland on a forged passport. He also been spotted enjoying the nightlife in Paris, Beijing and Macau. And according to former Pyongyang insider Kenji Fujimoto, “The older brother, Jong Chul, had the warm heart of a girl.”

Seriously, if you have the warm heart of a girl, North Korea is not the place for you. San Francisco, maybe, but not Pyongyang.

Fewer Iranians favorable to U.S. under Obama than under Bush: So much for apologies and pretty words

Iranian students demonstrating their love for America now that Barack Obama is president
Iranian students demonstrating their love for America now that Barack Obama is president

Here’s another reason we hate the media:

Look how the Associated Press reported the results of a poll conducted by Terror Free Tomorrow, a bipartisan group that tries to undermine support for terrorism, and for the New America Foundation, a nonpartisan public policy institute.

Few Iranians have favorable opinions of the United States, a view that has changed little since the election of an American president who has expressed a willingness to talk to Tehran, a rare poll of Iranian citizens showed Monday.

Got that? Iranians hate us just as much as they always have. Except for one thing – when you actually read the results of the poll, it turns out they hate us more now than they used to.

Just 29 percent of Iranians said they have favorable views of the United States in the latest poll, which was conducted last month. In a similar survey in February 2008 — nearly a year before Barack Obama became president — 34 percent had positive opinions about the U.S.

Our interpretation of those numbers is different than AP’s. They say Iranian opinion “has changed little.” But from our jaundiced point of view, the number of Iranians who hate us increased 17% over when George Bush was president.

How is that possible? Where has the sweetness and light gone? What about all those beautiful words The One has spoken? What about all those lovely apologies he’s given?

Ahhh, screw it. These people are lunatics who can’t be reasoned with. Take care of this, would you, Israel.

Texting, instant messaging and chat rooms use a strange, new language that’s filled with abbreviations and acronyms designed to quickly communicate and easily disguise a myriad of sex and drug terminology. It’s beyond the comprehension of most adults.

Some of the abbreviations and acronyms have been created so that kids can continue their conversation with friends while a parent is watching over their shoulder, confident the old folks are clueless. For example, if you saw your daughter sending the text message, “PAW GYPO & Ill GNOC later” would you know she just scheduled a time for a naked video camera session after you go to bed for the night? And what’s more frightening than not knowing when your 13-year old keyed LMIRL in a chat room, it meant “Let’s meet in real life?”

So here you go. Here’s the Rosetta Stone of texting/chatting/emailing. A comprehensive guide to acronyms, abbreviations, phrases and lingo to look for on your kid’s phone or computer. Some are outright disgusting and we hope you never see your kids use them. Others are harmless on their own but still important to know in context.

If you feel guilty taking a peek at your little darling’s computer and phone, remember one thing: You paid for them.

James Carville said Democrats would rule for 40 more years. He may have been off by about 38.

This is the the kind of "change" the Obama administration hoped for.
This is not the kind of "change" the Obama administration hoped for.

“Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on six out of 10 key issues, including the top issue of the economy.”

Must have been a whole lot ‘o hyperventilatin’ goin’ on over at MSNBC when they read that Rasmussen Reports summary of its latest national telephone survey.

Rasmussen found that 45% of likely voters now have more confidence in Republicans’ ability to handle economic issues. Only 39% favor Democrats. And to twist the knife a little more, independent voters now trust the GOP by a two-to-one margin.

This is the first time in more than two years that Republicans have come out on top.

“The latest survey was taken just after General Motors announced it was going into bankruptcy as part of a deal brokered by the Obama administration that gives the government majority ownership of the failing automaker,” Rasmussen continued.

Unemployment is skyrocketing. The national debt is exploding. The dollar is collapsing. Interest rates are rising. Inflation is rearing its ugly head. We’re just surprised it took this long for the voters to figure out these guys don’t know what they’re doing.

Everyone in favor of Todd Palin kicking David Letterman’s ass, please raise your hand

Todd Palin was not smiling when David Letterman joked about the statutory rape of his 14-year old daughter
Todd Palin was not smiling when David Letterman joked about the statutory rape of his 14-year old daughter

Todd Palin reacted with great restraint when David Letterman joked about the statutory rape of his 14-year old daughter.

“Any ‘jokes’ about raping my 14-year-old are despicable,” Palin said. “Alaskans know it and I believe the rest of the world knows it, too.”

Personally, we’d like to see Todd hop on an airplane, fly to New York and kick Letterman’s ass from one end of Times Square to the other.

At the very least, he should respond like Democrat icon Harry Truman did when his daughter Margaret was insulted.

Washington Post critic Paul Hume wrote a scathing review of Margaret Truman’s singing. Truman leaped to the defense of his daughter by writing this letter to Hume (but only after being convinced he shouldn’t go down to the Post and kick Hume’s ass):

Mr. Hume: I’ve just read your lousy review of Margaret’s concert. I’ve come to the conclusion that you are an “eight ulcer man on four ulcer pay.”

It seems to me that you are a frustrated old man who wishes he could have been successful. When you write such poppy-cock as was in the back section of the paper you work for it shows conclusively that you’re off the beam and at least four of your ulcers are at work.
Some day I hope to meet you. When that happens you’ll need to a new nose, a lot of beefsteak for black eyes, and perhaps a supporter below!

[Westbrook] Pegler, a gutter snipe, is a gentleman alongside you. I hope you’ll accept that statement as a worse insult than a reflection on your ancestry.

Wouldn’t you love to hear what Todd really said before the political consultants cleaned it up?

Reverend Wright still hates Jews, but no more than he always has

Ahhh, those happy days back before it became wrong to be Wright
Ahhh, those happy days back before it became wrong to be Wright

Reverend Jeremiah Wright is talking again. And his comments are not going to help President Obama’s relationship with Israel. Not at all.

Wright said he hasn’t spoken to Obama since the President threw him under the bus last year. “Them Jews aren’t going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office. They will not let him…talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is.”

“Ethnic cleansing is going on in Gaza,” Wright added. “Ethnic cleansing of the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don’t want Barack talking like that because that’s anti-Israel.”

Finally, Wright indirectly confirmed the truth of the accusation that Obama must have heard, but not been bothered by his inflammatory sermons while attending the Trinity United Church of Chicago for twenty years, by admitting that his message hasn’t changed:

“…the media went back five, seven, 10 years and spent $4,000 buying 20 years worth of sermons to hear what I’ve been preaching for 20 years?”

Pity poor Israel is surrounded by enemies – Lebanon to the north, Syria and Jordan to the east, Gaza and Barack Obama to the west.

Campbell Brown: No bias or mo' bias?

Campbell Brown came back to CNN on Monday following maternity leave. She looked the same, but her show looked different. They retooled it while she was gone. And they dropped “No Bias, No Bull” from the title.

We assume that by dropping “No Bias, No Bull” CNN is merely acknowledging the huge role bias and bull have always played in the program.

We’d have an alternate title: Campbell Brown: Mo’ Bias, Mo’ Bull.

Schwartzenegger wants to cut everything except services to illegal immigrants aliens

Members of an illegal alien social club on their way to pick crops in California's fields
Members of an illegal alien social club on their way to pick crops in California's fields

California Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger pounded the final nail in his own political coffin yesterday when he announced that he’s “happy” that illegal aliens get state services. Then he tapped the nail in a little further by saying they’re not to blame for the state’s $24.3 billion deficit.

Schwarzenegger noted that the state spends a mere $4 billion to $5 billion the state on illegal aliens each year, but said that’s just a “small percentage” of the deficit. And that’s true if you consider 20% a small percentage.

The soon-to-be former Governor told The Sacramento Bee that it’s easy to “scapegoat” illegal immigrants. The turncoat Republican insisted that the Feds requires the state to provide emergency health care and education to illegal aliens. And what the hell, he said, the illegal aliens pick crops and build buildings.

Perhaps the Governor hasn’t seen these grim statistics on illegal aliens (some people have nitpicked these stats, but they’re frightening if they’re only half true):

    1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County (L.A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal aliens working without a green card.
    2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
    3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
    4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
    5. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
    6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
    7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
    8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
    9. There are 21 Spanish language radio stations in Los Angeles.
    10. In L.A. County 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak Spanish. (There are 10.2 million people in L.A. County ).
    11. Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.
    12. Over 70% of the United States’ annual population growth (and over 90% of California, Florida, and New York) is from illegal aliens.

How’s that budget working out for you, Governor Schwartzenegger?
