Obama admits his socialist agenda revolution is kaput if Coakley loses

Comrade Obama knows his socialist revolution is kaput if Martha Coakley loses the Massachusetts senate race. Obama admits it to a Massachusetts rally and Fox News’ Carl Cameron provides the analysis.

Obama: We’ve got so much work left to do. And, as much progress as we’ve made, I can’t do it alone. I need leaders like Martha by my side so that we can kick it into high gear; so that we can finish what we’ve started.

Cameron: For what’s at stake. President Obama himself has now said that he needs this win because the country’s ability to move forward or back is at stake. A broad sweeping statement that essentially encompasses not only his health care agenda, his economic plans, as well as his green energy proposals. All of these things hinging on whether or not Martha Coakley is elected as a democrat, thus protecting the 60 vote majority.”

Who ever thought that the death of Teddy Kennedy would lead directly to the death of socialism in the United States?

Or perhaps we should say, this version of socialism. Because, unfortunately, socialism is like a vampire. You can kill it a thousand times over, but unless you drive a stake through it’s heart, it keeps coming back to life.

Cavuto’s answer? He hasn’t just lost his mojo, he’s lost his soul.

Prepare to find Keith Olbermann curled up in the fetal position in the corner of his MSNBC studio. Because discussing Obama’s soul could put him right over the edge he so desperately clings to.

Scott Brown’s wife could kick your ass

Turns out Mrs. Scott Brown is a reporter for WCVB-TV the ABC affiliate in Boston using her maiden name, Gail Huff. Here’s Gail taking the Navy SEAL fitness test. We’d bet on her in a death cage match with Barney Frank. And we’d pay to see it, too.

We hear a lot about Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown and even a bit about his smokin’ hot daughters. Hell, they’ve even trotted out Snuggles and Koda, the family dogs. But why has Mrs. Brown been so conspicuously absent?

Did candidate Brown go through an ugly divorce? Is the wife hideously disfigured? Is Dick Cheney holding her captive in an undisclosed location to keep her from revealing damaging secrets about the Republican candidate?

None of the above. Turns out Mrs. Brown is a reporter for WCVB-TV the ABC affiliate in Boston using her maiden name, Gail Huff. She’s kept a low profile because she has an agreement with the station that she won’t cover politics nor appear at any of her husband’s campaign events to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest.

Olbermann wants to know why Scott Brown’s nude Cosmo centerfold hasn’t become a political liability

Left wing lunatic Keith Olbermann looks at Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown’s nude centerfold in Cosmo and wonders why it hasn’t become an overwhelming political negative for the candidate.

And this, friends, underscores the fact that there truly is a huge philosophical difference between MSNBC hosts Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews.

Click to enlarge. The photo, that is.

What’s the difference?

Left wing lunatic Keith Olbermann looks at Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown’s nude centerfold in Cosmo and wonders why it hasn’t become an overwhelming political negative for the candidate. But left wing lunatic Chris Matthews looks at the same centerfold and quietly wonders why he’s getting another one of those thrills up his leg.

See, there really are differences between the two.

Jim Cramer predicts big “Scott Brown” stock market rally

CNBC Mad Money host Jim Cramer predicts that a Scott Brown win in the Massachusetts senate race heralds the end of Obama’s socialist experiment. And that, friends, will lead directly to a massive stock market rally. We say a bit of this today as the markets gained strongly on predictions are that Brown will win.

And that, friends, will lead directly to a massive stock market rally. We say a bit of this today as the markets gained strongly on predictions are that Brown will win.

Cramer: …I think investors who are nervous about the dictatorship of the Pelosi proletariat will feel at ease, and we could have a gigantic rally off a Coakley loss and a Brown win. It will be a signal that a more pro-business, less pro-labor government could be in front of us. Hey, would you say it is more China like perhaps? No, we can never be as capitalist as the Communist Chinese. But how about a little bit less like the old Soviet Union? Yeah, that would be a bit more like it. Pelosi politburo emasculation! Everything from the banks, which are usually in the Democrats’ penalty box, or the oils which are despised by this administration for being carbon, could be propelled dramatically higher all of this Tuesday night.

Make sense to us. But then, we’re need to worry about our own states of mind when Cramer starts making sense.

Overstuffed Ed Schultz wants to stuff Massachusetts ballot boxes

Can you imagine what would happen if Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck said they would stuff the ballot box to keep those bastard Democrats out of office? That’s exactly what round mound of sound Ed Schultz called for.

Schultz: I tell you what, if I lived in Massachusetts, I’d try to vote ten times. I don’t know if they’d let me or not, but I’d try to. Yeah, that’s right, I’d cheat to keep these bastards out. I would. ‘Cause that’s exactly what they are.

Let’s just call it the ACORN strategy.

Danny Glover thinks the Haitian earthquake was caused by global warming. Seriously. That’s what he said.

To tell the truth, we were relieved when we heard Danny Glover blame the Haitian earthquake on global warming. It may be a sign that the left’s Bush Derangement Syndrome is finally fading.

Of course, we also realize that if you asked Glover what caused global warming, he would say, “It’s Bush’s fault.” So it’s really only one degree of separation.

Lunatic. Complete raving lunatic.

Pat Robertson is insane, but not for the reason you think

Pat Robertson brought conservatives and liberals together in a way that Barack Obama has failed to do. Both sides agree that his comments about Haitians’ “deal with the devil” were pretty wacky. But, we trust, no wackier than his belief in anthropogenic global warming.

David Gergen gets a civics lesson from Republican senate candidate Scott Brown

Scott Brown is the Massachusetts Republican who looks like he may, maybe, might, could possibly pull off an upset in next Tuesday’s election to replace Teddy Kennedy in the Senate.

Civics. Yeah, that’s what they used to call it. Now they call it a course they don’t offer anymore.

Scott Brown is the Massachusetts Republican who looks like he may, maybe, might, could possibly pull off an upset in next Tuesday’s election to replace Teddy Kennedy in the Senate.

If you listen closely you can hear liberal heads exploding in the background as Scott Brown explains how politics is supposed to work.

Gergen later admitted that he “got stuffed” by Brown, which immediately caught the attention of Barney Frank. Frank was reportedly disconsolate to learn that it was sports terminology.

Let’s hope that the people of Massachusetts, who have routinely returned the likes of Ted Kennedy and Franks to office, get it right this time.

Chavez wants Venezuelan TV to air socialist soap operas

Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez asked film producers to produce “socialist soap operas” because there’s just too darn much capitalism on television.

Lights! Camera! Action! Cue the Communist!

As his economy crumbles, Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez knows just what it needs.

He’s asked film producers to produce “socialist soap operas” because there’s just too darn much capitalism on television. He even offered to pony up some of those newly devalued Venezuelan bolivars to help spread the socialist message.

NewsMax.org has the details:

“A while ago, I was in Cuba and they broadcast soap operas there, not capitalist soap operas but with a social content, socialist” soap operas, Chavez told a group of filmmakers and scriptwriters guested on his weekly radio and television show, “Alo Presidente.”

“I’m going to ask that we make socialist soap operas (in Venezuela), instead of capitalist ones.”

The firebrand leftist leader offered government help to producers following his advice.

“We can also make good movies,” he added. “Not capitalist movies that are poison and incite our children to take drugs and even push them into crime.”

A little unsolicited advice, Hugo. Forget the expense of original productions. Just import Law & Order and save yourself some bolivars.

C-SPAN tells Congress to put or shut up, televise ObamaCare negotiations

The clowns in congress love to see themselves on television. Except when it comes to ObamaCare. Now C-SPAN CEO Brian Lamb has told them to put up or shut up. In so many words. He wrote to leaders in the House and Senate urging them to televise “all important negotiations, including any conference committee meetings.”

He wrote to leaders in the House and Senate urging them to televise “all important negotiations, including any conference committee meetings.”

“The C-SPAN networks,” he added, “will commit the necessary resources to covering all of the sessions LIVE and in their entirety.”

Not gonna happen. Contrary to the President’s pledge of full transparency, it now appears that top Democrats in the House, Senate and White House will work out all the niggling little details behind closed doors before sending this bloated atrocity of a bill back for a final vote.

Hmmmmm. Candidate Obama’s words seem to conflict with President Obama’s actions. Here’s what he said on the campaign trail in a debate with Hillary:

“That’s what I will do in bringing all parties together, not negotiating behind closed doors, but bringing all parties together, and broadcasting those negotiations on C-SPAN so that the American people can see what the choices are.”

In the words of Nancy Pelosi, “Lots of things are said on the campaign trail.”

Translation: “Don’t believe a word we say.”

We have to admit, we never thought that anyone would come along who would make 9/11 truthers look rational. But we never figured Keith Olbermann into the equation..

Fortunately, Olbermannwatch.com was on the case. We all owe this dedicated group of masochists a debt of gratitude. They actually subject themselves to watching Olbermann’s show so you don’t have to.

As Olbermannwatch.com mockingly reports, “First Oralmann tells us the crotch bomber was no big deal, just a schlub who didn’t pose any real threat to anyone. But consistency is not considered a virtue on OlbyPlanet, so Krazy Keith goes on from there to suggest that our spy organizations deliberately buried the intel about the crotch bomber–knowing he could kill 300 people. Why? To embarrass the Obama administration! John Gibson has the details on the latest Krazy Keith Konspiracy … listen to the end as a genius caller takes it to the next level.”

Why stop there, Keith? Any theories on the lone gunman and the grassy knoll?

If CNN’s management wants to know why no one takes them seriously, these clips should explain it

Displaying an inexplicable lapse of judgment, CNN brought seriously unfunny comedian Kathy Griffin back to co-anchor its New Years Eve Times Square coverage with Anderson Cooper again this year.

Displaying an inexplicable lapse of judgment, CNN brought seriously unfunny comedian Kathy Griffin back to co-anchor its New Years Eve Times Square coverage with Anderson Cooper again this year.

We actually pitied Cooper as we watched. He obviously finds Griffin as unfunny as we do and did that odd forced laugh over and over and over until he became even more annoying than Griffin. Which is really saying something.

Yeah, everyone knows Falcon Heene, the infamous Balloon Boy, but no other broadcasters were juvenile enough and unfunny enough to turn his unusual name into an obscene joke. (And we use the word joke in its broadest definition).

It’s no secret that Anderson Cooper is gay. But we’re pretty sure that’s not reason enough for Griffin to begin referring to him getting a blowjob.

What kind of serious news network would put the awful Griffin on the air and team her up with one of their serious news anchors, even on something as fluffy as New Years Eve in Times Square.

Only CNN. What were they thinking?

Associated Press hollers “dog pile” and jumps on President Obama

President Barack Obama, the man at the bottom of the dog pile

It has begun. In the last few weeks an avalanches of criticism of President Obama has come from formerly reliable leftwing media. Hints of doubt have come from MSNBC host Chris Matthews and New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd. And now even AP has jumped on top of the dog pile.

The Obama administration claim that “the system worked” after a failed aircraft bombing wasn’t quite as jolting as President George W. Bush’s “Brownie, you’re doing a heckuva job” when New Orleans was sinking under deadly Hurricane Katrina. But both raised disturbing questions about presidential response in a time of crisis…

Amid those questions, administration officials’ repeated statements Sunday that “the system worked” were jarring. They made it sound like the administration doesn’t get it, like it is paying too much attention to political fallout and too little to public fears…

For Obama, still short of one year in office, his narrative, critical or otherwise, isn’t set yet.

Nonetheless, rumblings keep resurfacing about emotional distance, even coldness. Whether it’s Wall Street bonuses or terrorist near-disaster, people wonder whether he feels as they do or ever acts out of passion.

Far as we can tell, this guy has only two passions – basketball and the socialization of the American economy. And there’s very little difference between the two.

In the former, he likes to dunk on old, fat white guys. In the latter, he likes to dump on old, fat white guys.

Associated Press says MSNBC didn’t act like a news network during airline bombing incident. They’re just noticing?

Reality slapped the Associated Press up the side of the head this week. They finally noticed that MSNBC isn’t really much of a news network.

Next thing you know, the Associated Press will notice that Keith Olbermann isn't really a newsman.

Reality slapped the Associated Press up the side of the head this week. They finally noticed that MSNBC isn’t really much of a news network.

AP explains what lead them to this overdue conclusion:

MSNBC spent considerable time Monday reporting on the aftermath of an attempted Christmas Day attack on a Detroit-bound airliner, but its executives didn’t want to talk about why the story received little attention as it was breaking.

Competitors CNN and Fox News Channel gave much more extensive attention to the story on Christmas night as MSNBC stuck with taped programs on a murder mystery and environmental issues, along with an “undercover” report on the teenage sex trade.

MSNBC has been criticized in the past for failing to respond quickly to breaking news during off-hours, a choice that may complicate its efforts to be seen as a go-to news source. The network is revamping its daytime schedule to be more news-oriented than personality-driven, since the latter approach has proven to be a ratings failure.

On Christmas, an anchor did live cut-ins about once an hour to pass on news of the attempted terrorism, said Jeremy Gaines, network spokesman.
Fox mixed live coverage of the story Friday night with a taped year-end retrospective show with Bill O’Reilly. CNN devoted virtually all of its prime-time hours to the incident, its coverage anchored by Ali Velshi.

Neither Gaines nor Phil Griffin, MSNBC’s top executive, would discuss the judgment call on Monday.

MSNBC’s choice was noted by Rachel Sklar, a blogger for the Mediaite Web site: “If you’re going to call yourself a news network, then cover the news,” she wrote.

As a result of this actual reporting, Keith Olbermann is expected to name Associated Press the World’s Worst Wire Service of the Day.

Both of MSNBC’s remaining viewers will think it’s the funniest damn thing they’ve ever seen.

NBC accused of shoddy checkbook journalism on Brazil child custody story

Society of Professional Journalists’ Ethics Committee says it’s “appalled” because NBC News chartered a plane for David Goldman and his son, Sean, to fly from Brazil to the United States.

Admittedly, we didn’t have a lot of interest in the case of David Goldman, the American father who was battling to get his son back from the kid’s adopted stepfather in Brazil. But when we saw that Goldman was flying back and forth from New Jersey to Brazil in a private jet, we briefly thought to ourselves, “Jeez, that guy must have a ton of money.”

We were wrong. Turns out NBC has a ton of money and they spent it like Barack Obama on speed to become the exclusive David Goldman network.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that NBC’s actions have earned the network a scathing rebuke from the Society of Professional Journalists’ Ethics Committee:

The panel says it’s “appalled” because NBC News chartered a plane for Goldman and his son, Sean, to fly from Brazil to the United States. They were reunited after a five-year custody battle, and they arrived in Orlando on Christmas Eve. In paying for the plane, NBC News engaged in “checkbook journalism,” the Ethics Committee says.

The journalists’ group has a code of ethics that urges reporters to refrain from bidding for news.

“The public could rightly assume that NBC News bought exclusive interviews and images, as well as the family’s loyalty, with an extravagant gift,” Ethics Committee Chairman Andy Schotz said.

In a statement, NBC News said: “The Goldmans were invited on a jet NBC News chartered to fly home to the U.S. on Thursday, December 24. NBC News has followed this story since the Goldmans’ story first ran on Dateline nearly one year ago — David Goldman since has appeared on Today seventeen times. NBC News has not and will not pay for an interview.”

With its lavish gesture to the Goldmans, NBC News helped create the news and jeopardized its credibility, the SPJ Ethics Committee said.

“Mixing financial and promotional motives with an impartial search for truth stains honest, ethical reporting,” Schotz said. “Checkbook journalism has no place in the news business.”

Close, Schotz, but no cigar.

What you should have said is that NBC has no place in the new business.

Dutchman Jasper Schuringa poured water on the bomber's balls and simultaneously rained on Janet Napolitano's parade

Politico reports that even CNN choked on the comment:

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said that the thwarting of the attempt to blow up the Amsterdam-Detroit flight this week demonstrated that “the system worked.”

Asked by CNN’s Candy Crowley on “State of the Union” how that could be possible when the young Nigerian who sought to set off the bomb was able to smuggle explosive liquid onto the flight, Napolitano responded: “We’re asking the same questions.”

Napolitano added that there was “no suggestion that [the bomber] was improperly screened.”

For god’s sake, Jan, disaster was averted only because one brave passenger tackled the guy, poured water on his burning balls, stripped him naked to make sure he had no additional explosives, and tied him up.

News flash for Janet Napolitano: that guy didn’t work for the DHS.

CBS Christmas promo 1966 versus CBS Christmas promo 2009

CBS has done everything possible to tarnish its reputation over the last 43 years. And nothing demonstrates that more clearly than the contrast between the simple, classic Christmas promo it produced in 1966 to the tacky one it produced this year.

1966: Season’s Greetings

2009: Frosty the Inappropriate Snowman

We believe it’s important to sit back during at this time of year and reflect upon the meaning of the holiday season. And, of course, to reflect upon why we hate the media.

CBS, the network that once proudly called itself “The Tiffany Network” has done everything possible to tarnish its reputation over the last 43 years. And nothing demonstrates that more clearly than the contrast between the simple, classic Christmas promo it produced in 1966 to the tacky one it produced this year.

Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to put the adult content of “How I Met Your Mother” with the classic children’s images of “Frosty the Snowman?”

Merry Christmas, indeed.

Our hearts go out to Rachel Maddow. She starts this report by attempting to glorify the accomplishments of President Obama in Copenhagen, but ends it seeming almost shaken by reality.

What caused the sudden change of heart? A report by NBC Foreign Correspondent Andrea Mitchell, who gives a remarkably honest review of Obama’s failures at the Copenhagen circle jerk.

It’s no wonder Maddow was surprised. Because there’s certainly no reason to think Obama would fail in Copenhagen when he’s been so successful in everything else he’s done.

Oh, my god, sometimes we just crack ourselves up.
